Storm's End
112 a.c.
"I want to make a toast for my only daughter, Cassandra. Today is her name day, and I want to say how proud and happy I am of the fact that she is my child. She is kind, good, caring and everything a father can want from his child-" while Lord Boremund was raising a toast for Cassandra’s name day, he was interrupted.
"Yes dad, we know how much you love Cassandra, there is no need to remind us every time. We all know how much you love Cassandra and Boros, but no one talks about your second son. Why? Because even you, his father, you don't remember him-" Oris said, already drunk by the wine he was drinking all afternoon.
"Orys, son, please do not embarrass yourself in front of all of the guests." Boremund said to his son trying to calm him down but he didn't want to.
All Boremund's brothers were invited to Cassandra's celebration and had come with their wives and children.
Orys hit the table "No Dad, let everyone understand. Let everyone know how much you love Borros, and I sit on a side and watch. Tell them everything, how you don't take me outside of Storm's End, except King's Landing, tell them everything. I try every day, I try to be the second son you always wanted but I can't." Oris said while his eyes started to fill up with tears. "Someone who loves me wouldn't do it, father. We might share a face and share a last name, but we are not the same-"
"Brother, let's go upstairs and talk-" Cassandra tried to calm her brother, but her father was already angry.
"No, Cassandra sits at your place." Boremund said and got up from the place he was sitting and went closer to his son. Boremund started screaming in Orys's face. "How can you talk like that to your father? If I wasn't a good father, I would have sent you to the Wall longer ago. Get upstairs and pack your bags because tomorrow you're going with Cassandra to King's Landing. I'd send you to the Wall, but I know you won't be able to take the black."
While Boremund was screaming in Orys's face, Orys turned and ran up the stairs to his chambers, and Cassandra went after him.
"Brother wait. Orys, wait!" Cassandra was yelling while she was chasing her brother up the stairs.

Orys suddenly stopped and turned to his sister.
"Look what I did. Look what happened. My father sent me to King's Landing because he knows I'm not going to be able to handle the black." Orys said looking at his sister's eyes. His eyes filled up with tears again and he wiped them.
"It is not shameful to cry. It is not shameful a man to cry. I am sure that Aegon the Conqueror cried too." Cassandra said and laughed trying to fix her brother's mood.
Orys laughed too "It is not funny Cassandra." Orys said while they kept laughing together.
"Come on, let's go to my chambers and talk peacefully about what happened." Cassandra offered her brother and he nodded with head.
They entered Cassandra's chambers. There were two chairs against the window and they sat on them.
"Aren't you happy to come with me to King's Landing. You're going to be with me and what matters, you're going to be with Martyn?" Cassandra asked to fix Orys's mood after what happened with their father.
"I am happy, of course, but I feel bad about what dad told me. You've seen everything I've done over the years, it makes no sense." Orys and answers.
"Well if you want we can talk tomorrow, and now you can go to bed because you look too tired. Tomorrow we'll go to King's Landing and I'm very happy you're coming with me and I think you should be happy too." Cassandra offered her brother to sleep and he agreed. He lay on Cassandra's bed and took off his boots. He fell asleep deeply very fast and Cassandra began to get ready for sleep too. She wasn't worried about sharing a bed with him. After what happened Rhaenyra and her, nothing could scare her.
She went to bed next to Orys. She slept with the thought of Rhaenyra, and how they are going to see eachother tomorrow.
"Good morning brother. Did you sleep well?" Cassandra asked Orys, who had just woken up.
" Yes sister, thank you for helping me. I owe you a favor." Orys answered while he was looking at his sister, who was sitting on one of the chairs against the window and watching the sea, excited about her meeting with the princess.
"Are you excited?" Orys asked.
"Yes, a lot." Cassandra responded with a smile, but she didn’t know what she was expecting her in King’s Landing.

"Good morning Rhaenyra. Get up, now." Alicent entered Rhaenyra's chambers without knocking and began to wake her up.
"Alicent, how many times do I have to tell you that I want to sleep in the morning. " Rhaenyra said with rough tone as she covered her head with pillows.
"I know, but princesses have duties, that means you have too. What are you going to do today?" Alicent asked Rhaenyra.
"I'm going to the port." Rhaenyra responded without even thinking about it.
"What are you going to do there?" Alicent asked surprised.
"Cassandra Baratheon will come to King's Landing and I will go to welcome her." Rhaenyra answered and continued to lay in her bed.
"Why, what will she do here?" Alicent asked.
"She will become my father's new wife, personal maid. She will stay here permanently." Rhaenyra said, seeing how Alicent became a little worried.
"That's very interesting." Alicent answered. "I have a little work with my father and I'll come back when I do it, and you can stay here and sleep." Alicent told Rhaenyra as she left her chambers worried, but Rhaenyra didn't pay much attention to her. She was excited about the meeting with Cassandra.
When Alicent returned to Rhaenyra's chambers, she was already ready to go.
"Should I come with you?" Alicent asked.
"No need. I'll be fine. When we get back, we can have dinner with you and Cassandra." Rhaenyra offered Alicent.
"I don't think Lady Cassandra would like to have dinner with me." Alicent said while looking down the ground.
Cassandra thought that Alicent had her eyes on her brother Orys, but that wasn't the truth.
"Okay then I go now, then I'll see you later for the dinner." Rhaenyra came out of her chambers, followed by Alicent, who seemed panicked about having to see Cassandra again.
"Princess, the ship will be here in a minute." Ser Austin said, looking at the sea.
Rhaenyra was getting déja vu, but this time it would be different.
"Cassandra we are almost there." Orus told his sister as he was looking at the port. She is there too!"
When Cassandra heard Rhaenyra was waiting for her, she fell into happiness. The fact that the princess came and waited for her talked a lot.
Orys knew his sister was in love with the princess, but she didn't admit it. He was worried about Rhaenyra hurting Cassandra and abandon her. Orys wanted to talk to the princess because there was no way back and he wanted to make sure his sister would be fine.
The ship arrived and Rhaenyra saw Cassandra coming down and watching her with a small smile.
Cassandra was wearing a yellow-green dress and silver jewelry and Rhaenyra's golden ring could be seen from far.
"Princess, it is good to see you again!" Cassandra said, seeing the happiness in Rhaenyra's eyes.
"Lady Cassandra, I am happy to see you again too. How was the trip-" Rhaenyra tried to ask, but she was interrupted.
"Princess, it is glad to see you!"
"Oh lord Orys, what a surprise. Are you staying at King's Landing too? Rhaenyra asked surprised.
"That's right Princess. I'm staying to keep an eye on my sister, train and become a knight." Orys answered.
"Ser Martyn Lannister will be happy to see you." Rhaenyra said while looking at Cassandra.
"Let's go now, what do you say?" Cassandra proposed.
"Let's go, we'll miss dinner. Lady Cassandra do you agree to have dinner with me and Lady Alicent?" Rhaenyra asked Cassandra, who was surprised by the proposal.
"With Lady Alicent?! I don't think she'd like to have dinner with me." Cassandra answered looking at the ground.
"She said that the same thing. Your room is the same as last time and I hope you will agree to have dinner together with lady Alicent in my chambers." Rhaenyra said with anticipation of Cassandra to accept.
"All right, let's have dinner with you and Lady Alicent." Cassandra agreed and looked at the princess with a light smile.
"Fantastic!" The princess replied.
During the trip to the Red Keep, Rhaenyra and Cassandra were talking about Cassandra's trip with the ship and why her brother was with her...
Cassandra was thinking about the dinner with the Rhaenyra and Alicent. She was afraid to sit with the girl she had a fight with when they were kids.
She didn't want Alicent near her, but something was pulling her towards Alicent...

However, there are a few moments that may be traumatizing to some people. As for the gore, it shows up fairly often but not extensively. I've always loved violence in movies and books, (The Boys, Banshee, Kingdom of heaven, Vikings, etc.) I am descriptive of the scenes with gore. So be warned :) I have multiple MC and as a nooby writer, I've had a harder time writing from a female POV. Just a heads up. Don't kill me if I make the woman in my book seem weird.
