I had woken up early because I felt really nauseous and have been feeling extremely nauseous for the last few days.

I told my momma bout it and she went and bought me a pregnancy test. Which I didn't take yet because I was scared of what the results were going to be, which I already knew what they were going to be because me and him never used a condom, ever.

I get out of my bed and immediately feel like I have to throw up. I run into the bathroom and hover the toliet but I didn't throw up. So I remove myself from the bathroom and immediately throw up over the floor.

"Maaaaammmaaa" I said feeling a tear drop from my face because my throat was burning.

My mom came and seen what happened and just shook her head.

"Riah did you take that pregnancy test I gave you yesterday?" She asked with her hand on her hip.

"Noo" I responded wiping my mouth.

"Take it now and imma clean this up go" She ordered me and I walked back into the bathroom and grabbed three test because sometimes the test be messing up.

I felt my heart beat increase bit by bit as I began peeing on one of them.

"Wooo momma this one say negative" I showed her running into her room.

"Okay whatta bout da otha 2?" She replied.

"I kinda forgot about those ones" I scratched my neck, lying.

I actually didn't look at the other two because I felt like this one is all the approval I needed.

"Riah I know youn wanna know if you pregnant or not and I know you scared but you laid up and had sex so you gon have to face the consequences and if you is pregnant ian gon be mad at you I have no right to be" She told me as she got off her bed and brung me into a hug that calmed me down.

I took a deep breathe and walked into the bathroom closing my eyes and grabbed the other two tests.

I held them up in my hands, "momma what they say im scared to look" I asked her but got no response.

I open my eyes to see she had her mouth covered with tears coming down her face. I turn them around and see both of them are positive and fall to my kness.

I didn't cry or nothing I just sat there looking at them in disbelief.

I was scrolling through my gram, interrupted by a facetime call from Damaris.

"Hello" I answered.

"How you holding up"

"Shit im ight right now ion know how imma be at dat funeral doe I damnner don't een wanna go"

"Imma see you later on at the funeral doe I was just calling ta check up on you"

I really was not looking forward to this funeral. After my mommas I swore I was never going to anotha one but here I am going to anotha one.

I had just finished braiding my hair up and was finna be on my way to get Riah so she could come get the funeral ready with me.

"Thankk youu" Riah said snatching my hashbrown off my plate.

Me, Her, Demetrius, and James were out to eat at Cracker Barrel.

"All these damn white people" Demetrius says.

"Nigga shut up they gon hear you" James said mugging him.

"Riah what the fuck" I said seeing her add a hashbrown ontop of her waffle with eggs and eat it all together.

"Damnnn this shit good" She said while chewing her food.

"You nasty bitch talking wit yo mouth full" Demetrius said pushing her head making some of her food fall out and he gets up laughing.

"Bi-" Riah says before she gets up and punches him in his back as he runs away from her.

"Bro we is in a white people restaurant and yall wanna act..BLACK" James says and I look over at him mugging.

"Nigga fuck that's posta mean" I ask him feeling myself getting ready to laugh.

"These white people gon look at us like "these niggers never know how to act"..look his old ass staring hard as hell prolly thinking it right now" James said pointing at a old man across the restaurant and I bust out laughing.

"Aye yall cmon we finna go" I said towards Riah and Demetrius who were hitting each other and laughing in the middle of the restaurant as me and James got up from the table.

They follow behind us out the restaurant and we all get into my car and drive towards the funeral.

Everyone stood outside, watching them bring in

Jaymars father casket.

"Come here I gotchu" I grabbed Jaymar as I seen him try to fight back tears but one falls from his face.

"Mommy what's wrong wit unc J" Some little girl walked over to Aunt Sherly asking as she was wiping her eyes.

"He's sleeping baby don't worry" She answered picking the girl up and putting her on her lap.

"Hey Jaymar I haven't seen you inna while" Some old man with a cane walks over to Jay rubbing his back.

"Hey grandaddy" Jaymar respond wiping his eyes as he gives the old man a hug.

Demetrius, James, and Damaris walk over to Jaymar as the old man walks away and hug telling him he its gon be ight.

"ADRIEN COME BACK" We all look over and see Uncle Joe walking behind Adrien as Adrien began walking away from the funeral.

"Imma be right back yall" I said running towards Adrien.

"Riah hollon" Demetris said following me as the rest stayed back wit Jaymar and the other family members.

Me, James, and Uncle Joe follow him into a chruch nearby and walk in finding him on his knees praying to the cross.

We all walk a little closer hearing him say, "Heavenly father please protect the rest of my family Lord please. If any of them are to ever die again have me die along with them. My family and friends mean more to me than anything and I pray for protection over them all"

We all close our eyes, bow our heads and join hands as Adrien continues to pray and then after he was done we all said Amen.

Adrien gets up and turns around looking at us with tears falling from his eyes.

I immediately hug him as everyone else joins in as I felt a tear fall from my eye.

"You gon be coo brother I promise we all is" Demetrius says as me and him come out of the hug watching him still hug his father.

"Its gon be ight son" Uncle Joe said sniffling.

"Cmon Riah lets leave them be" Demetrius said putting his arm around me as we walked out he Church and back up to the funeral.

I hate funerals

"Riah we finna be inna cah" Jaymar said as I was still inside the Church talking to one of his little cousins.

"Ok imma come out there inna min" I responded as James, Demetrius, Jaymar, and Adrien walked out the church.

"Your sooo pretty"

"Tank you, you too" She responded with a big smile showing some if her missing teeth.

"Okay Gizelle we gotta go now" Her mother said walking over to us smiling.

"bye pretty gorl" Gizelle said waving at me as she walked away.

The church was damn ner empty now. It was only me, Damaris, Aunt Moore, Uncle Joe and Uncle Ro left inside.

"Ok bye yall" I said to them all as I walked out hearing them say bye back.

I began walking towards a car I had thought was his car til I looked down and seen a meesage he had sent me.

I decided to look at his location and he was turning the corner and driving straight down the rode to the church so I just waited infront of the corner store.

"Aye you Jaymar girl right?" I turned around seeing a dude wearing all black with a mask pointing a gun in my face.

Oh shit

I was speechless not a word came out of my mouth as I looked over at a car parked right next to us seeing atleast 3 more heads.

"This for all my niggas he took from me" He said as I seen him put his finger on the trigger. I closed my eyes and then immediately fall onto the floor hearing multiple gunshots go off.

I open them seeing Jaymar laid on top of me before he coughed up some blood.

"NOOOO WAIT" I screamed feeling tears fall out my eyes as I rolled him off of me seeing blood come out his mouth.

"Ja- JAYMARRR" I screamed as I looked up seeing Damaris run towards the dudes with a gun in his hand shooting at them until one dude comes from the side and shoots him in the head. I just watch his body collapse onto the concrete floor.

Then the dude who shot Damaris falls on the ground and begans crawling away before Adrien rushed over to him, shooting him multiple times in his body.

I looked over seeing his uncles and Aunt running out of the church shooting towards the men and then taking cover.

As all of this was happening I was grabbing Jaymar and pulling him into a ally, away from all of this.

"Ba- babbyy you- you can talk to me cmon" I studdered as tears continued to fall from my face.

"R- *cough* Riah Don't worry bout me as long as y- damn" He tried speaking but was struggling because of all the blood he was loosing.

"Waitt please don't die please we- we finna have a baby Jaymar im pr- im pregnant you can't"

He just smiled with tears falling from his face as I brung his head onto my lap and put my hand on his chest where he was shot.

"You gon be a good momma ba-" He said cutting himself off as he continued to cough up blood.

"Stop talking Jaymar ju- just stop hollon im finna get you to a ambulance just hold on" I said feeling my head begin to pound.

"RIAH CMON" I look behind me and see Uncle Ro and Joe with Demetrius and nem pull up at the end of the ally.

"He- helllp its Jay-" I struggled saying seeing them hop out the car and run towards me as I began to get dizzy.

I try standing up to get Jaymar as he still fought to stay alive and then next thing I know I blacked out.

"RIAH" I kept going in and out consciousness as I heard people screaming my name until I finally couldn't hear them anymore.
