I glance at the clock on the wall. 11:25 AM.

Five more minutes to go.

I feel a headache coming on as I push my black hair away from my face. I'm a drunken mess, who can't seem to remember just exactly how I ended up in a hotel room naked this morning. My purse and all my belongings were still there. My clothes littered the bedroom floor and an aching pain between my legs—I had sex with a stranger. Last night, I went to celebrate my best friend, passing the bar exam. I tend to stay away from clubs because it just wasn't my thing anymore. For, Cassie I would literally do just about anything.

The second I had a taste of tequila, I couldn't stop. Four shots in, that's when my eyes locked with his. He was sitting at a booth on the other side of the club with some friends. All of them gave off that vibe of wealth and power, and shall I say they all were probably great in bed. However, I couldn't take my eyes off of him. After two more shots of tequila, I had the courage to go over there and demand a dance.

He was surprised at first, but with a sexy smirk on his face, he agreed. Honestly, that's the last thing I remember. Maybe he and I didn't have sex? I rub my temples pulling out my phone.

Cassie what the hell happened last night?

Other than you leaving with some rich sex god!!! How was it? Was he big? Tell me all the deets!!!

I honestly don't remember anything after demanding a dance.

That wasn't all you demanded from him...you literally had some balls. You demanded him to get you pregnant. Going on and on about getting your mother off your back.

WHAT?!?!

Yeah, he ran back to his friends. They all stared at you and you still went back to their table. Determined might I add. I had to drag you away.

OH NO! Why didn't you stop me!

Trust me I tried. But somehow he must have been turned on by it and asked you for another dance, 20 mins later. Next thing I know you two are slipping out of the club.

This doesn't sound like me, one bit. Drinking tequila brings out the whore in me, I guess. I wanted to know more, but a stuck-up lady enters the waiting room calling my name. I didn't have time to change my clothes from last night, so here I am about to get interviewed for my dream job in last night's outfit. The stuck-up Barbie looks of disgust didn't go unnoticed. Thankfully, I was the only one in the waiting room or I wouldn't have stayed.

She leads me to a meeting room, walking inside my eyes landed on a beautiful blonde woman; her smile was so friendly and warm. I relaxed a bit as she gestured for me to take a seat. If she had a problem with my attire she sure didn't show it. She opens a folder, flipping through pages.

"Good morning, Ms. Alexander, I'm Charlotte Tucker. How are you doing this morning?"

"I'm good. Nice to meet you." I smile. Why does her name sound so familiar?

"I want to say fortunately for you, you will be getting to interview with all the executives today, but—"

Oh no. "Did you fill the position already? Was I too late? I knew I should have submitted my application at the beginning of this month." Well goodbye junior executive finance officer position.

"Ms. Alexander, we didn't fill the position. I don't tend to judge other women's clothing choices. However, I do know my boys." She stands up. "I think you and I are the same size roughly."

Was she really going to give me the shirt off her back? She was. She closes the blinds locking the meeting door. Slipping off her blazer, she quickly unbuttons her shirt. I look away in shock. Is she crazy?

"Ms. Tucker, you don't have to. I'm okay."

"It's Mrs, but please call me Charlotte. I love that you're comfortable in your skin, but as I said before I know my boys. I want you to get this job based on what you can bring to this company from knowledge and experience, not your breast. Also, the hickey on your neck is a bit distracting."

How did I not see the hickey? She was right. I don't want to be given a job based on my looks or the lack thereof sometimes. Charlotte places her blouse and blazer on the table in front of me. Looking up at her I see she is wearing a Go! Avery! Go! shirt. My confusion must be evident because she explains. Today her youngest daughter has a soccer game later this evening. Showing the backside as well, Soccer Mom Tucker.

"You need to put this on, I hear the guys."

I listen and she is right. I hear a lot of commotion heading our way. I don't think I ever moved this fast before, lying I did it just this morning. Charlotte looks me over nodding her head in approval, unlocking the door she quickly moved back to her seat. The door opens but I look straight ahead at Charlotte. Calm down Alsie, you got this. I thought it over and over.

"You have got to be fucking kidding me. I can't leave Tameka alone with anyone without getting a complaint she said or did something inappropriate." A voice says. He sounded more amused than mad.

"Serves you right. I knew one day you were going to meet your match, Evie." Another voice teases. "Just don't fuck h—"

"Guys! This is Alsie Alexander." Charlotte stands her hand slamming down on the table. "She is our last interview for the day."

As the men walk in taking a seat I notice they're all very handsome. Charlotte glares at two of them in particular. My eyes move to the guy who reaches out, gently grabbing Charlotte's wrist. She looks at him and instantly relaxes, could he be the Mr.? Whelp that kiss lets me know he is.

"Where are your clothes?" he questions.

"Uh, I'm just so excited for Avery's game tonight. Where is Darren? He is leading this interview; after all, he kept complaining he needed more help." Charlotte changed the subject and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in.

"Don't I know you from somewhere?" another guy to my left questions. He squints, and small wrinkles forms around his green eyes as he taps his finger against his temple. Where would he know me from? I would know if I ran into a man like him. Trust me, he has a face I wouldn't forget.

A loud bang catches everyone's attention. "Shit! Sorry. I'm late. I head to uh... never mind." I turn to see who the blubbering mess was. It made me feel at ease that someone was just as nervous as I was. At that moment I knew this wasn't going to end well. His eyes landed on mine, I know he and I shared the same look. Surprise, shock, or could it be a mixture of both.

"That's where I know you from." the guy early has an ah-ha moment. "You're the chick from the club last night. You demanded Darren make babies with you!"

I look away from Darren and stand up. "I'm sorry for wasting everyone's time. I realize this job isn't for me. You all have a good day." I turn around and stop. "Charlotte I will bring back your things." I'm already embarrassed I dare not say her clothes. I move to leave; Darren is still standing there looking at me.

"Excuse me," I say through gritted teeth, he snaps out of whatever trance he was in, stepping out the way. I make a mad dash for the elevator. I need to get the hell out of here. I stop dead in my tracks looking at the family portrait that was hanging in one of the offices. I didn't notice it before, but now...

Oh My God.

I need to get out of here.
