Ding dong!
My doorbell rang, I figured it was Kokichi since he almost always comes to wake me up, but to my surprise it was Monokuma.
"What do you want?" I asked the bear
"I figured I'd come let you know that some of the research labs are open."
"Oh really? Is mine open!?" I say excitedly, I always wondered how mine would be
"Uh-huh. Your lab is finally all set up, so you can go in whenever you want." Then Monokuma left. I was excited to see my lab! I wondered which other labs were open.
Just as I was about to go back to bed, the doorbell rang again. This time, it was probably Kokichi. I walked myself back to the door and opened it.
"Nishishi! Did you hear the news about the open labs?" He seemed just as excited as I was.
"Yeah I did, I can't wait to see mine" I reply
"Well what are you waiting for? Let's gooo!"
"Wait, I wanna go to the dining hall first and get something to eat, I'm starving." I walk out of my room, closing the door behind me. Kokichi followed as we walked to the dining hall
——
Once we got there, I got something to eat while Kokichi waited for me, sitting at the table. I noticed that Miu was also there and that's when Shuichi and kaede walked in. I was going to go say hi to them but they went to talk to Miu, so I didn't interrupt them.
"Y/nnn, are you done? I'm getting bored waiting for your slow ass to finish eating." Kokichi whined
"No one is forcing you to wait for me." I responded to him, he just rolled his eyes.
That's when I saw both Kaede and Shuichi bowing down to Miu, I could tell they were speaking, but I couldn't hear them.
"What the fuck...." I say quietly
"Huh?" Kokichi turned to look at what I was so shocked about, and when he saw he just said the same thing.
Once they got back up, I walked over to them
"Hey guys, what was.....that all about? With Miu." I ask and their faces got red, probably from embarrassment which is understandable.
"Oh, that was nothing. Don't worry about it! Miu's research lab is open, wanna come with us, Y/n?" Kaede asked me
"Ah, I would but I told Kokichi I would check out the research labs with him. Thanks for the offer tho! See ya" I wave to them and walk back to Kokichi, who had fallen asleep with his head resting on the table.

"Kokichi wake up! We can go see the ultimate research labs now!" I slightly pushed him and he jolted awake.
"About time!!" He replied, I just giggled a bit at his response.
——
After walking for a bit, surprisingly the first research lab we found, was mine. The door was black and seemed to have flames on the edges. As we walked in, I noticed the room was huge. One side of the room was a place for all the dancing equipment, and the other half of the room was basically a stage. I'm guessing for me to practice.
"Wow, omg" I was shocked. I hurried into the room, looking at all the different equipment, and then analyzing the stage.
"Pretty cool!" Kokichi said "Wanna show me some of your moves?~"
"Uh, no thanks. I'll show you when I'm ready. Who knows, I might even preform for the others too! If I'm feeling confident...but all this equipment makes me happy. I'll probably be in here a lot." I reply. Looking around even more I noticed there was a desk that I didn't seem to catch at first glance. I walked up to it and it had a bunch of papers, pencils and lighters.
"Huh? Why do you need paper?" Kokichi followed up behind me
"Probably just to come up with ideas and routines. Music choices too. I'm forgetful so if I don't write it down I'll probably forget." Kokichi and I spoke for a bit more and then we decided to leave.
Time skip to the next day cuz I'm lazy...
I got out of bed and got ready as usual. Normally, Kokichi would be the ones spamming my doorbell until I answered the door, but he wasn't there today. So I went to his dorm instead. It took a few tries before he answered the door.
"Jeez who is botheri— Oh, Y/n! It's you, Nishishi!" His mood seemed to change upon seeing me.
"Yeah, c'mon let's go."
"To where?" He asked
"I don't know, just walk around I guess?"
"Okayy"
We walked around for a bit and then headed outside.
"Hiiii, you guys!" It was Angie, she walked up to us. "Hey, hey! Have you decided how you wanna spend your final moments? Maybe... you wanna pray to Atua with me?"
"Don't say that! There's still a chance we might make it out alive..." I say a bit unsure
"Nyahahaha! True, true. So Kokichi and Y/n, huh? I never would've expected you guys to get along as well as you do! Maybe Atua helped you." She was energetic as usual.

"Uh...maybe..?" I was the only one responding. I looked over to Kokichi to see he completely spaced out. What an idiot.
"Anyway, I was hoping we would all get along. But they're righting in the dining hall, Atua is so bummed out about it."
"Huh? Wait what?! They're fighting??" I say, Angie just nods. "Wanna go check it out?"
"Okie-dokie, we'll stop it together." Angie replied. I have no idea who was fighting, and why, but I went to go see anyway. With Angie leading the way, I drag Kokichi along.
——
"What's going on?" I ask, walking in. It looks like Kaede just walked in as well.
"Oh, Y/n, Kaede. Perfect timing. I...really don't know what to do, Ryoma started talking crazy..." Rantaro spoke up
"All I was doing was making a suggestion. So that even more people can survive...Even if it's just one more." The short male defended himself. Taking a brief moment to see who else was in there. It was only Kirumi, Rantaro, Ryoma, Angie, Kaede and me. Kokichi had run off somewhere when we were walking here. But I didn't pay much attention to him.
"Ryoma, what do you mean by that?" Kaede asks
"Don't you get it? If time runs out like this, we'll all get annihilated, y'know? The only way to avoid that is to play along with this killing game." Ryoma responded
"What!? Now, hold on a minute!" Kaede spoke
"Kill me." The male said.
"Woah, what!?" Kaede and I said in unison.
"I'm saying that I'll give you guys my life. I...don't have a reason to live anymore." He paused for a bit and my expression softened. I felt bad for him, just hearing him say that made me sad. "So if the rest of you want to live, I'll hand my life over to you." He continued
"No way! We promised we'd all get out of here together!" Kaede said
"Hmph, I hoped it'd end that way. That's why I waited so long to bring this up. But we've just been waiting for the deadline without doing anything to change it. There's no more time left for idealism, don't you think?"
"No...it's not idealism—"
"This is the best choice for this situation. Whoever murders me gets to leave without a trial. Everyone else survives the time limit. After that, the person who gets to escape can go for help and rescue everyone else. How about it? If you've got a better idea, I'd love to hear it."
"Ryoma. There's no need for that. Because...I'm going to end this game. I've already decided." Rantaro spoke up
"You're...going to end this game?" I repeat
"It's not about outfoxing everyone in this killing game, it's about ending the game itself. That's the real goal." He continued. Suddenly a new voice was added into the conversation.
"Can you...even accomplish such a feat?" It was Korekiyo. I didn't even see him come in.
"I wouldn't be saying this if I didn't think I could."
"And how will you end it? You understand that the time limit expires tonight, yes?" Kirumi says
"Haha, sorry, can't tell you. Actually, if I could, I wouldn't be having such trouble."
"What do you mean, Rantaro?" I ask
"Just what I said. I'm going to end this game. So don't any of you go and do anything unnecessary, alright?" He had this dark stare on his face. It gave me the chills. Ryoma then left the dining hall.
"Anyway, Rantaro... Are you actually serious about knowing a way to end this game?" Kaede asks
"...Not sure."
"What?" I say
"Well, even if I did have an idea, I couldn't tell you, can't risk anyone interfering." Rantaro replied
"Okie-dokie... Then Angie will pray for your strategy's success, Rantaro. But if you're lying, Atua says he will punish you for three generations to come, okay?"
"Haha, now that's a threat. Well, I'll do my best to live up to your expectations, hm? I guess... I have to do my best." And with that he also left the dining hall.
"Ending this game...is that even possible?" Kirumi spoke up, breaking the silence.
"I suspect he only said that to defuse the situation and stop Ryoma. I mean, ending this game..?" Korekiyo added
"Nyahahahaha! You don't know that! Maybe Rantaro's hidden talent is actually a huge explosion! In the end, only Atua knows!" Angie said.
Rantaros hidden talent, huh? I'd like to know what it is..

Journey Towards Dao
What is infinite, possessing no beginning nor end? What is imperceptible, appearing both indistinct yet intelligible? What is indecipherable, unable to be interpreted or understood? What is quintessential, unfathomable, eternal? What is Dao? The main focus of this story is detailed cultivation, professions, and combat systems. It's a slice-of-life with a cultivation system that delves into psychological aspects (including minor psychopathic/sociopathic elements). Protagonist is the low-key sort. Be prepared for a slower start. This is my first ever experience writing fiction. I'm trying my best to put out quality content initially, but my main goal is to improve. Comments, ratings, and reviews are greatly appreciated!

The Primordial
With one goal fueling him, he broke through the final barrier, reaching the apex of power and regaining that which was once lost. Trying to find a new beginning, he reforged himself anew as he awoke to memories of a long forgotten past. Memories that intersected with his new reality. His invincible soul now unchained, surprises await him as he begins his new jouney in an unknown land. I'm just writing this for fun, but i'll never drop it. This won't be something short, as I have the very long term in mind, but I'm a total noob to writing, so I most likely won't release chapters very often, at least until I really get the hang of it. But, the chapters will always be several thousand words long. At the minimum 2k, maximum like 6k... Pretty big variations, sorry. If you like it, great. If you don't, that's understandable. Regardless, if you have a read, I'd appreciate feedback for areas you think I should improve on, whether it's the use of some words or how I should write something or WHATEVER. I'm open to anything, good or bad, because with your help, it'll help make this story better. **DISCLAIMER** So you don't waste your time, I want to let you know what you're getting into, because I like knowing ahead of time before I read something. This might appear like a Xianxia novel, but it's not. It only starts that way. This is a western fantasy world and setting that many of you are familiar with. The beginning chapters might be a bit of an info dump. Some of it might seems superfluous, but a lot of information is relevant to the story. The first few chapters might also seem rushed, but I'll try to keep it exclusive to those. This is a cliche, OP MC story with the typical harem, but other than the quick start, everything else will be gradual. There will be romance, and probably many moments at that, but don't expect anything TOO detailed. If you want something really steamy, look elsewhere. References and throwbacks to stuff most likely. The setting won't be really dark or really light. Middleground, I guess. The MC is far from a young kid, but he won't totally reflect his age. I don't plan on discarding info, abilities or characters that you KNOW should come back and be around. I see it a lot and it sort of bugs me haha... but I could have oversights, I dunno. As I said, I'm a noob. That's it, really. If you're interested, welcome to my world!
