The sirens were getting louder as the teens stood in the basement. The atmosphere of the room was thick with fear and uncertainty. Brandon pushed the knife closer to (Y/n)'s throat with every second. She didn't dare move, but she was switching her gaze from each of her friends and captor's friends.

Brandon was rather conflicted. On one hand, he could give up the whole thing and run away into the woods. He could continue living, having known that he couldn't have done anything else, and moved on with his life as they suffered from the PTSD. Or, he could turn himself in, and possible get out later on to torment them in the future. Upon thinking further into his two options, he was slowly beginning to realize that he had no true reason to doing any of this. She didn't love him, she was never going to love him, he had committed a crime for seemingly nothing and this was all... pointless. He didn't love Genevieve, and in the end he didn't truly gain anything from doing this. His plan failed.

He didn't need reason, he just wanted to get her attention. All of this, was for her attention. He wanted to make them miserable- miserable for making him go insane and obsess over someone who doesnt love him. 'Thats it! He thought. 'It's all their fault! This is a revenge story...' He didn't truly believe himself, but it was enough to push him towards a decision.

"Alright.. You win." A sinister smile crept onto Brandon's face as he lowered his knife from the girl's neck. She visibly relaxed, and the group of teens did too, but it wasn't enough for them to react. Brandon chuckled before plunged the knife into the girl's thigh, and threw her to the ground. "And that's for everything, (Y/n)." He spit out as he ran up the stairs. Jackson yelled out the girl's name as she fell to the floor, and blood began to rush out of her leg. Allison, Chris, and Jackson all tried to make their way to her, though Jackson was having trouble himself. Beth quickly ran over to Genevieve to under her binds.

"BRANDON!" Giovanni yelled as he tried to run to his companion, who he didn't know how to feel about. His whole world was turn over, Brandon had betrayed him. However, against his better judgment, Connor held the boy back from running off, and Gio quickly realized he shouldn't run after him and gave up rather quickly as he shrunk in his former lover's arms.

The red haired male laughed as he turned to the front door, and the lights of the police cars soon came into view from the windows of the front of the house. He snickered as he slowly walked to the front door. He opened it to shield himself from their view, but just enough for him to shout out. "Hold your fire!"

"Come out with your hands up, Brandon Skitz." Brandon laughed, and opened the door to see two cop cars stationed in the front of his house. The sirens were loud, and he could hear other cars coming. The cops were pointing their guns at the boy.

"All this for me!? You shouldn't have!" He exited his house and stood with his hands up. "They're in the basement boys." Was all he said before the cops ran up to him and threw him to the ground. Brandon drowned out the sounds as he looked ahead, he was replaying the events of the past few days in his head, and all he could see was the terrified look in (Y/n)'s eyes as he was dragged to the cop car.

"I did it all, your honor, I did everything." The group of teens sat in the courtroom with their families as Brandon spoke. He was on trial, though he was confessing everything he did.

"And why are you blatantly stating this, Mr.Skitz? You do realize you are about to be put in prison for the kidnapping of four teenagers and torturing them over the course of a few days. You are also on trial for the murder of Jocelyn Skitz, all of this evidence stacks up against you, so do you really need to tell us you did it all?" The judge seemed tired of his act already.

"Well, your honor, I want it on file that I took the credit! I did this all," he pointed towards (Y/n), who sat in pure fear, "for her. Cause I love her, it was all me! Take me away officers!" He dramatically outstretched his hands causing the judge to roll her eyes.

"Please refrain from making a joke of this, Brandon Skitz. You are going to be put away for life, I hope you know." Brandon laughed the judge's words.

"No shit, sherlock. Why do you think I did all of this. Shit, maybe just put me on death row right now!" The courtroom was silent as Brandon laughed at his own jokes. "Tough crowd..."

"Take him off the stand." The judge rolled her eyes as the offciers took him out of the box and led to where his lawyer sat. The lawyer was not at all trying to defend him, as he was making the case look like a joke. "That is all, I'll let the jury decide." They looked around and immediately yelled out 'GUILTY!' And the judge smirked. Brandon audibly laughed out at the sheer timing of the scene. The cops took him away and out of the room.

A muffled scream could be heard behind the door and Brandon screamed "HERE I COME DAD!" The teens and their families sat in the courtroom as they tried to process what happened. The only thing running through their mind was that Brandon was going to jail, and they could live safe knowing it was a life sentence.

The group of adults sat around the table and laughed at the antics of their kids as they ran around the yard. "God they are so adorable!" Genevieve laughed out, causing her husband to hold her closer. Everyone turned their attention to the group of children playing around the yard. Some were in the pool, others were playing with toys they had brought to the cookout. Connor and Giovanni were holding hands and joking about how they wanted a kid. This caused everyone to laugh, though they all felt bad since they knew how they had tried, but things got complicated at the adoption agency. Lainy and Chris sat together at the end of the table. His hand was on her stomach as she rubbed circles on his knuckles. Allison and Beth sat next to (Y/n) and Jackson, across from Connor and Gio, as she watched the children.

It had been about 20 years since the former group of teens were kidnapped by Brandon, and they had decided that they should stick together as they were the only people who could truly understand how the other felt.

Though it took her a while, Genevieve found love in college during her Freshman year. The two are married now, and have 3 kids. She and (Y/n) had made up after their fight, though it left a slightly bitter taste in (Y/n)'s mouth because she was still angry they never listened to her.

After the trial, Giovanni and Chris were given restraining orders against the members of the group. They ignored it however, and Lainy and Connor ended up forgiving them, to the groups annoyance. Connor had a long talk with Giovanni, and for a while the two didn't see each other at all until one day they ran into each other and caught up. Giovanni and Connor ended up talking for a while, and after a few months of reconnecting they got together. They've been married for 3 years now. After he explained to her why he had to break up with her, Lainy never left Chris' side. She somehow loved him more for 'saving her' and the two were married as soon as they both graduated from college. They have 3 children, two of which were twins, and one on the way. Chris vowed to be a better dad, and though the group was still held a small grudge against him, they had to admit that he was a very good father and husband to his family.

Allison and Beth got closer as they left the school within a year of each other. The two were not happy with their friends decisions, though they kept it hidden. However, they didn't hold onto their grudge for long as they realized that they had been growing feelings for the other. In college the two finally got together and have been happily married for 7 years. With a little help from some friends they met in college, they were able to have two beautiful children.

(Y/n) and Jackson were inseparable after the trial. The two spent everyday together. They didnt talk much, just sat together and simply held the other as they tried to repress what happened. In school they would request the same classes so that could have the emotional support. After some time the two finally talked about what happened, and they agreed that some time apart was something that would be healthy as Jackson was going off to college. They lived a new chapter of their lives while in college, but never felt the way they did when they were together, and after graduating college they confessed their feelings and have been together since. They married just a year after reuniting, but decided that they didn't want kids.

(Y/n) maintained her friendships, though she held a deep feeling of anger that sat in her stomach. She was angry that they didn't listen to her. That this all happened because they didn't listen to her and that she had to like with this burden of a memory for the rest of her life. Even if Brandon was dead, he was put on death row just a few years after entering prison, she still lived in fear of meeting anyone. She knew it wasn't right to feel this way, they had been through the same thing, but it wouldn't have happened if they had just listened to her! She had blown up about this once again with Jackson, and though he understood her rage, especially after what happened, she didn't feel like makingna bigbdeal about it to her friends. Instead she held that anger in, and it has simmered since then, but every now and that feeling creeps back and she debates bringing it up. One day... One day she'll tell her friends how she really feels... and tell them just how much they could've done if they had not been kidnapped in high school.

(Y/n) looked over to Jackson, who was looking at the kids in a sort of melancholic manor. She smiled as she squeezed Jackson's hand, grabbing his attention. "You think we made a mistake not having one?" She spoke softly to her husband. she knew that they couldn't have handled one, but she couldn't help feeling a little left out of the whole 'parenthood life.' He giggled at her question. He felt the same way.

After a few moments of looking around, he smiles and chuckled. "Nah, we don't wanna turn into people who gush over their kids?" He cracked a joke as he gestured to the parents of the group. They were all gazing upon children like they were the most precious thing in the world. (Y/n) laughed at his joke. Jackson pulled away and went towards the grill and started to get the food out for everyone to eat. (Y/n) crept up behind him to steal a burger before he called everyone over.

"Hey." She whispered to her husband, who looked down at her with a smile. "Get ready to become a gusher." Jackson froze in his spot as she tapped her stomach and winked. In an instant he knew exactly what she meant, and he swore he was going to cry on the spot, but held it in as she gave him a kiss and walked away. "Who's ready to eat!?" (Y/n) yelled out to the small army of children and parents, who all cheered as they rushed over to get some food.
