《Lies [✓]》1

You took in a deep breathe, exhaling you put your bag on your back and put your shoes on. Turning back you waved to your father. "Have a good first day honey!" Your father smiled. "Thank you!" You smiled back.
Y/n L/n, a sweet girl. She was very nice, even to people who didn't like her. She often cared about the people who mistreated her as she feels something bad happened to them.
Even though she's nice, there's one thing she'll never stand. One thing she'll never get through her head.
Lies.
Walking out the door you quickly shut it behind yourself, it was a nice sunny day outside. A slight breeze was also there, so it wasn't too hot.
You didn't live far from your new school, so you would walk. Eventually making it there you noticed how big the school was. You were home schooled as a child.
You part your lips slightly, due to the shock from the view, after a couple seconds you noticed and closed it. A couple students had glanced at you, since you were new. It was mid november. And you, were a sophomore.
Though some people would most likely think you were a freshman.
A female had made her way over to you without you realizing it, as you were deep in thought.
"Hi! I'm Tina, Tina Abbott! You're Y/n, right? I'm supposed to show you around!" The dark-skinned female smiled. Your eyes quickly widened. "Oh, y-yeah! I'm Y/n... It's nice to meet you, Tina." You blushed from embarrassment.
"Well, follow me. I'll show you around."
...
"And finally, this is the principal's office. I showed you this place last since you need to get your schedule." Tina smiles. "Oh, okay! Thank you Tina." You were already quite comfortable with Tina, she seemed like a genuine nice person so far.
Tina walked away, "See you at lunch Y/n" You heard faintly as she walked away. You smiled to yourself and turned to the door, softly knocking on it.
"Come in" you heard faintly.
You open the door and find yourself in front of a man with grey hair, he had a deathly look on his face. "Oh, it's just the new kid.. Blah blah blah, here's your schedule." He hands you your schedule. "Now get out"

You were pushed out of the room, the door had been slammed shut. You just stood there.. Confused, and shocked.
You quickly shook your head, trying to brush it off. It was just strange to you, how unprofessional the principal was.
you took the paper and looked at it closely, your first class was Math. You had to think where Tina showed you where math was, you started to wander the halls for a bit trying to remember.
You suddenly bumped into someone a bit shorter than you.
"Gah, I'm sorry!" You mumble, backing up. You found a dark skinned female standing in front of you. She had brown hair, blue eyes, freckles and glasses. Her hair was short, up to her shoulders.
"It's fine, are you new? I haven't seen you here before." She spoke calmly, a small smile planted on her face. You nodded your head. "Y-Yeah.. I'm Y/n, Y/n L/n." You smiled gently. "I'm Nerris! It's nice to meet you Y/n." Nerris smiles.
"You're a freshman, right? I'm a sophomore—" "No, I'm also a sophomore. I transferred here, I was home schooled all my life before this." You shrugged.
"Anyways, It's nice to meet you too.. Um.. Do you happen to know where Math class is? I forgot." You mumble quietly to yourself in embarrassment. "Math? Yep, too bad we don't have the same class. I have history." She shrugged.
"Well, follow me." She smiled, walking away as you followed.
...
It was now lunch, the time everyone was waiting for. You slowly made yourself to the cafeteria as you forgot where it was.
Once you made it you looked around, you had brought your own lunch to school. But at the moment you were finding someone to sit with. Since you didn't want to seem like a loner.
You saw Tina, but she was at a table that was full. The people who sat with her seemed to be nerds, 'no offence' you thought, despite no one being able to read your thoughts.
You thought about sitting with the other girl you met, Nerris. You shared a class with her before lunch and she was really nice, you got along and enjoyed her company.
You were looking for Nerris when you suddenly felt a tap on your shoulder. You turn and saw the one and only Nerris! She was standing beside two other people, the two were both males.

Both males had decently long hair, down to their neck. One was wearing something that looked like a coustume, maybe he was a cosplayer? The other looked had a bit more normal outfit. A white and black stripped shirt with a black jacket on top, the jacket was unzipped, and it had short sleeves.
"Oh, hey Nerris! I was just looking for you.. Who are these two?" You asked confused. "That's preston." She pointed to the person you thought was a cosplayer. "And that's Harrison." She then pointed to the other boy. "They're my best friends, the people I hang out with the most." She smiled.
"Oh, well it's nice to meet you two!" You smiled. kindly, shaking both of their hands. "It's nice to meet you too, fair lady." Preston grinned, while Harrison just nodded his head with a smile.
"Oh yeah, I forgot. Wanna sit with us?" Nerris asked. You nodded your head enthusiastically. "Please! I don't wanna sit alone! People will think I'm a loner..." You fake cried, but then giggled, causing the others to let out a small laugh.
...
The four if you had the same class for this period, Science. You were so glad you had people to talk to during class, and also super glad you had already made friends. "And then Harrison and I used our magic against each other, and didn't realize we were the dark forces!" Nerris states.
You chuckle, you enjoyed the stories the three told you about the camp they all went to together. It made you somewhat wish you met them then too. It would be hard to fit in, but you'd manage.
You were all walking to the lab when you suddenly felt yourself being pushed. You didn't have enough reaction time and ended up falling on your face. You lifted your head up and held your nose, it hurt badly.
You sat up and turned around. Shakily, you muttered "Who pushed me?" You sigh. You weren't mad, you just wanted to know who exactly to avoid. There was a group a three people behind you. People who you haven't met yet. Maybe it wasn't one, but all of them you should avoid.
One had tanned skin, he had black fluffy hair and a dark blue hoodie. Another had brown short but fluffy hair and a yellow turtle neck sweater. He seemed to be shy and felt bad. The last one was a female, she had green hair a little longer then to her shoulders, she had pink eyes, wore a blue shirt with a red jacket on top.
The three stayed silent. You sighed, and stood up. "Again, who pushed me?" You asked. You glanced at the tanned skin one, he seemed suspicious to you. he raised an eyebrow. "It wasn't me." He shrugged. You furrow your eyebrows.
You glance at him, trying to study his face. His expression was odd, you couldn't tell if he was lying or not. It didn't have the blunt "i'm lying" or the "I'm telling the truth" vibe.
You sighed. "Whatever, it doesn't matter..." You mumbled, turning away. You'd decided you'd just avoid the tan one, he seemed to be the leader. And in most films; the others don't do much without the leaders, right? "Let's go guys." You said, glancing at your friends. They nodded and you guys walked away.
The tanned boy seemed slightly annoyed with your.. Reaction, the beginning was funny but the way you just walked away annoyed him. He wanted to see you angry.
The other group of friends glanced at each other, until Max started laughing. "Did you see her reaction? She looked like she was going to cry!" Max snickered. Nikki nodded her head in agreement, giggling. Neil kind of stood there awkwardly, nodding his head awkwardly.
"That was shallow, I'm telling David."
The three glance at the female who said that, it was Tina. "Oh no, Tina's going to tell a Teacher. Ahh I'm sooo scared! God, you're such a teachers pet. No wonder you have no friends."
Tina was taken to offence. "Excuse me? I have friends! L-Like Willow, Y/n, Nerris—" "Y/n? Who the hell is Y/n?" The tanned boy asked. "The new girl, you know, who you pushed! Jeez, I'm telling both her and David about what you did." Tina muttered angrily as she sped-walked away.
"Great.." Max muttered tiredly.

Summoned
“Per aspera ad astra." Death. Mercilessly, it comes for all. But when a young man is given a second chance – a second life – to experience what he never has, what will he do? Leave the burdens of his past behind, improving upon his faults? Or will he collapse back into old sins, wasting the opportunity given to him? Perhaps even he himself does not know. * Join Andre on his journey as he explores a new world – one ripped straight from the pages of a D&D campaign he's never played. He will face monsters. He will face men. And above all, he will face himself. The story’s genre is your standard progression fantasy, isekai: magic, a system, and a level of technology suspiciously underdeveloped. I’ve borrowed tropes from various books I’ve read like “The Second Coming of Gluttony”. The similarities are there (particularly in the beginning), but I assure you the story is my own. It’s in the first-person perspective and has its own quirks, characters, and world for you to become immersed in. The upload schedule for this will be different from the usual fictions on this site: I’ll release chapters in batches rather than so many a week. I’m a college student, so I don’t want another deadline to worry about. Depending on the popularity/demand of the series, I might increase or decrease the rate of releases. Other than that, I hope you enjoy the story! P.S. This is my first fiction so make sure to point out mistakes wherever you see them. I’m doing this, partly, to increase my skill as a writer. However, be kind! I’m fragile, you know? Warning: ***This is far from your happy-go-lucky, feel-good adventure story. There will be content that some of you might not be comfortable with. And if you're already feeling skeptical reading this, click away and don't come back. If you're still here, what are you waiting for?***
