[Chapter 10]
-At the Grayhill building-
With Stein at my side, we raced in the building as fast as we could. I'm mean as fast as Stein could cause he can't exactly run fast. I was wearing a black leather jacket/shirt with black shoulderless sleeves and black tights. I had high heels, high laced boots, my necklace with Jay's and Emmy's rings on it, my ring, my knives, and a pistol.
We finally reach an area where we hear Savage's voice booming through the door.
"You have no idea what it's like to have people willing to follow you up to the gates of Hell!" Vandal Savage fumed.
"Actually, I have a little bit of an idea." Rip said.
Mick and Snart showed up at the door and I nod at Mick to go in.
"Let's get this party started!" Mick said kicking the double doors open.
"Here's our invitation!" Snart said as the two started blasting people.
"Well, this is different. I didn't have him pegged as the "Eyes Wide Shut" type." Mick said as he freed Sara.
"Enough!" Vandal screamed as blue energy shot out of his knife. Everyone ducked to avoid the blast.
Stein rushes over to Jax.
"Jefferson!" Martin called racing over.
"Let's get em," Jax said as the two joined to become Firestorm.
"Get Carter's body out of here." Rip ordered."Sara!"
"I got this." She responded as she beat up some thugs.
Savage yelled in frustration as he sent another wave of energy. I sensed it and slightly floated off the ground. I spread my arms and collected the energy, like a kid on Halloween taking as much candy as they can, leaving the rest of the team unaffected and uninjured.
Savage's face dropped as I felt the energy course through my body and my powers feeding off of them. My eyes weren't glowing violet, they were shining violet, catching the attention of everyone in the room.

"What? How-" Savage started but I cut him off.
"What? Performance issues?" I giving him a winning smile before I shot him with a bright purple light. It's like all my powers combined into one. One Element.
Savage only had time to widen his eyes before he was blasted backward into the wall, the knife in his hand fell to the ground next to Rip.
I collapsed onto the ground and shook my head. Leonard raced over to my side and helped me up.
"Are you okay?" He asks and I nod.
"Why wouldn't I be? Just every five minutes I'm given something to absorb that could kill everyone around me if I screw up." I reply as I regain my balance. Great, now I have a small headache.
"Go back to the ship, I'll deal with Savage," Rip ordered us.
"Good luck with that," Snart said.
-On the ship-
I changed into a more comfortable outfit.
I walked into the bridge where Snart was yelling at Gideon.
"Maybe you didn't understand me, I asked for the new timeline, Gideon," Snart said arms crossed pissed off.
"This is the new timeline. Two days from now, your father will be arrested trying to sell the Maximilian Emerald to an undercover police officer." Gideon said.
"Stupid son of a bitch." Snart fumed.
"He'll be sentenced to five years in Iron Heights. Despite your intervention, his future remains unchanged." Gideon said.
"Hey, you tried to save him. That's got to count for something." Jax said and I put a comforting hand on Leonard's shoulder."Turns out it doesn't," Snart replied coldly.
"Come on," Sara said entering the room.
"Where are we going now?" Snart asked.
"To say good-bye," Sara said.
We all walked down the hall, toward the place of final goodbyes.

"The other day, I tried to find some words of inspiration. Words that would restore hope to us in the wake of our losses, but it is all of you who have inspired me. Beginning with Professor Boardman and then with Carter, their heroism is... an inspiration to us all. And a reminder that one person acting alone can't save the world," Rip said and everyone slowly left the funeral and boarded the Waverider.
"Gideon, ready us for takeoff." Rip said as he ran into the control room.
"Whoa, are we being chased or something?" Jax questioned.
"No, but I imagine that right about now, the museum has realized that their prized emerald is missing." Rip said sending Snart a look.
"You want me to say I'm sorry?" Snart asked.
" Sorry, I don't do sorry," Mick stated.
"Which is fine, Mr. Rory, because you are owed the apology. I should have told you all before that this wasn't my first attempt to vanquish Vandal Savage, but the reason I failed before-" Rip started.
"Was because you didn't have all of us," I finished.
"Obviously Dr. Palmer and I had our hands full tending to Ms. Saunders, but now that she's back on her feet.." Martin trailed.
"We're back to full strength," Ray said.
"Or as strong as we can be without Carter," Kendra said.
"Quite true, but there is no point in us continuing any further. Unless we are all and myself included, committed to working in concert." Rip said.
"You don't ditch us, we won't ditch you. Deal?" Snart questioned.
"Captian, I've completed my review of the timeline. I calculate a 98% likelihood that Savage reappears in 1986." Gideon said.
"Chart a course, Gideon." Rip commanded as we all sat down and buckled up.
"Guess we're headed to the '80s. Better break out your parachute pants." Ray said.
"What the hell are parachute pants?" Jax asked confused.
"The worst fashion choice in all of history," I answered.

"That wasn't so bad, was it?' Rip said as the ship time jumped and we landed in the 80s.
"Walk in the park. So where are we now?" Leonard asked sarcastically as we lifted the harness off.
"Washington, D.C. The year is 1986," Rip explained.
"We've landed at the height of the Cold War in a world poised for nuclear annihilation," Stein explained.
"We've traveled here because I have a new lead on Vandal Savage's location," Gideon explained.
"Yes. Gideon managed to intercept this telefax concerning Savage's last known whereabouts," Rip added.
"Tele-what?" Jax asked.
"It's like an e-mail on paper," Ray explained laughing.
"Wow, that's totally useless," Mick stated at the telefax full of crossed-out words.
"Dude, this whole thing's crossed out," Jax said.
"Yeah, redacted by the U.S. government, which is why we are here to steal the original file on Savage back from those who are tracking him," Rip said and looked out the window.
"Uh, that's the..." Ray started to say.
"Now, now, don't worry. We are cloaked," Rip stated.
"You want us to break into the Pentagon?" Mick asked.
"Sounds awesome," I added high fiving Mick.
"It sounds crazy," Kendra retorted.
"I've always wanted to break into the Pen. What's the plan?" I asked eagerly.
"Oh, the Fabricator will fashion you the necessary Pentagon Credentials," Rip explained.
"Ooh, and don't forget our G-man disguises. I always wanted to be a spy," Ray commented with a smirk.
"Some of us really do get what we've always wanted today," I smile.
"Hello, the inside of the most secure facility in the country."

Sexy Sect Babes
“One in a billion.” Jack kept repeating the mantra in his head. “One in a billion.” That was the number the Omni-Corps liked to cite whenever someone stepped onto one trans-mat pad and then simply… never stepped off the other. “Safer than a car,” he repeated as he slogged through the snow, his mining overalls doing at least a passable job of keeping out the cold as he brushed aside a tree branch. “Safer than a plane. Or a starship. Safest form of transport in the Star League.” He slammed his fist into a nearby tree, exo-empowered strength shattering it into little more than scattered bark and kindling. “Yeah, well I never heard of a car ride stranding some prick in another dimension!” He roared, his voice echoing through the seemingly endless forest around him. Then he kept marching. He’d seen the fire off in the distance. And given all the snow around, he sincerely doubted it was natural. Which left the unnatural. Which meant people. He hoped. Because even if the trans-mat had screwed up, he doubted it had dumped him too far off the central finite curve. The fact that the air was breathable and that he could recognize the trees around him as oak told him that much. And if the dimension he was in had trees native to Earth, chances are it would have animals too. Of which humans would hopefully be no exception. “Because I’ll be damned if I spend the rest of my days talking to goddamn squirrels.” No, if there were humans on this mudball, he was going to find them. One way or another.
