IM SO SORRY OMG I DIDNT MEAN FOR IT TO TAKE LONG AHHHHH
Marco brought Star our for a picnic. To Star, it was a nice, friendly gesture. To Marco, Death. He was nervous as ever. Why you ask? Well, he was going to tell her his feelings. His true feelings to her. He didn't know what to say, and worse he didn't know what she'd say. He brought her to the tree nearby and sat her down on the blanket. He sat down, and brought the basket down. He opened it, and brought out the food. "Wait where are the forks and spoons?!" And he freaked out. Great! He forgot... Star giggled. "It's ok Marco, we'll just eat like savages! GRRRR!" And she made a beast face. Marco laughed and smiled. How was she always so optimistic? They are like so, and after, the sun went down. Marco sighed. He looked over at Star, and stuttered. "Uhh...St-Star...Th-There's....s-something I uh...." And Star laughed. "You're such an amazing dork Marco..." and he took a breath. "You're an amazing dork too Star..." And they talked about all their old memories. "HAHAHA! SKULLSEY DIDNT SEE WHAT WAS COMING!!!" Marco laughed. He then stared at Star, and gave a loving smile. "Star....Can I Show you something?" He asked. She nodded and handed her a paper. Well, almost did. "Wait before you read it, just know that I think you're amazing and I want us to remain as we are forever..." Star nodded."Okay??" He slipped it away from her again and said,"and that I know it's weird but I think it's special..." Star roles her eyes. "Whatever you drew cant be that bad!" Marco gulped. "and also that you are very important to me And Id hate to lose you." Star hugged Marco. "Me too Safe Kid..." And he hugged her back. She suddenly grabbed the paper from his back. "STAR!!" And she smirked. "What?! It is for me anyway, right?" And she started to open it. "Wait, Star...I..." And suddenly Marco took it and ran off. "Marco!" And he ran and ran. "YOU GOTTA CATCH ME FIRST!" And he sped around the park. She laughed and laughed as she chased him, slowly being out of breath. She then caught an idea. She coughed. "Huh Huh...M-Marco...I.......I cant breathe....." and he froze. "OHMIGOD STAR!!" He went up to her and panicked. She fell over. "AHH STAR!!" And she huffed. "Marco show me the paper please...my vision is a little blurry..." and he sighed.

Will you be my girlfriend?
And Star froze. She froze, and read it three more times just to get it right. "You ok Star?" She got up, and laughed. "Sorry I had too cool you like that Marco. I needed to see the paper.." and he frowned. "Star! You scared me half to death!!" And she giggled. "I hate you so much..." and she laughed. "So you don't want me to answer?" And he froze. "Uh...Sure you can answer if you want..."and she laughed. She took a paper and unfolded it.
Yes...
And he froze. "How did you-" And Star sighed," Next time you plan something like this,,don't leave the paper on your counter in your room ..." and he facepalmed. "It was cute and sweet though!" And he layed on the grass. She went next to him, and they held hands, watching the stars.

This is an old version of the heavily edited and rewritten Ortus This is the story of a woman named Riza. Riza is a woman who wakes up in a forest with nothing, remembering nothing, and on the cusp of death. The only thing she has is a weapon stuck in her side and, after a tangle with a wild boar, something called 'life aspect'. Little does she know that life magic is considered a dead-end branch and is largely outlawed across the world. None of this matters to her, of course. For one, even if someone tried to tell her, she doesn't know the language. Number two, have you heard about the sunk cost fallacy? Riza is not some chosen one, nor is given any boon she doesn't deserve. Instead, she's smart and methodical, and experiements on how to maximise every opportunity, every ability, presented to her. She doesn't just take things at face-value but instead explores just what limitations there are. This often involves maths.
