《STARCO One Shots》Musical Nerd [Theatre School AU]

They were at the second biggest party of the year, karaoke night. Sure, it didn't sound as exhilarating, but it was the whole school, plus the teachers, coaches and staff. All singing musical songs. With food and drinks. Exactly...Crazy as ever. For the most part. Except for Freshmen that hated interaction. "Don't worry.." Seniors would tell them or think in there head,"You'll be totally the opposite... in a year or two [Ill be as known as Chicago's Al Capone..] ". Marco and Star, of course, were different. They jammed to every song, lip synced to every catchy tune, and cheered whenever allowed to. They were having a great time. Until Karaoke time. You see, other people had to choose songs for you, and they were oblivious to how many people shipped them. "Okay, good job Mark, Will, and Barrow with Sincerely, Me from Dear Evan Hansen!! Okay, now we have Star and Marco singing..what should they sing audience?" And everyone started shouting different songs. Then, their "friend" Janna stood up and screamed "SOMETHING TO BELIEVE IN FROM NEWSIES!" And everyone cheered. They blushed. They knew that everything had to be done that was in the song. Including the kiss. They both death glared Janna and she cracked up. "Alright! Ready?" And they gulped and nodded. Star started to sing.
Til the moment I found you
I thought I knew what Love was
Now I'm learning what is true
That love will do What it does
The world finds ways to sting you, and then one day decides to bring you
Something to believe in
For even a night
One night may be forever
But that's alright,
That's alright
And if You're gone tommorow,
what was ours still will be,
I have something to believe in

Now that i know you believed in me..
As the short instrumental played, Marco looked at Star in amazement. I mean, who wouldn't? She was great. Beautiful, Smart, Independent, Kick Butt, and she could sing. Marco snapped out of it when his part came on.
We was never meant to meet
And then we meet
Who knows why?
One more stranger on the street
Just someone sweet passing by
An angel come to save me
Who didn't even know she gave me
Something to believe in
For even a day
One day may be forever
But that's ok, that's ok
And if I'm gone tommorow,
what was ours still will be
I have something to believe in, now that I know you believed in me...
They inched closer together, knowing what was coming next. And they weren't talking Lyrics Wise.
Do you know what I believe in?
Look into my eyes and see
As the instrumental played, the two locked lips. Fireworks went inside them as they kissed each other passionately, with the whole school cheering.
If things were different
What, if you weren't going to Santa Fe?
And if you weren't an heiress! And if ya father wasn't after my head...
You're not really scared of my father...
No...I am pretty scared of you..
Don't be!
They both realized how perfect this song was for them, and looked at Janna, not able to bring words, besides the lyrics to the song.
And if I'm gone tommorow
What was ours still will be
I have something to believe in
Now that I know you believed in me
I have something to believe in
Now that I know you believed in me
As the song finished, the two hugged, and went offstage, looking at Janna..."This song fit you guys way too perfectly..." and they laughed. Marco walked over with Star to a nearby bench, and they sat down. "Y-Your voice...I-It's beautiful.." Marco complimented. Star blushed, and Marco did too. They then looked into each other's eyes, and laughed. In between their giggles, they said together,"Good Job!" And they then died the laughter down. They looked at each other, and Janna smacked their lips together, and smiled. She left Marco and Star, who were smiling in between the kisses, making this the best karaoke night ever.

The Joy of Evolution
"Alright, so I have this idea, a completely original one by the way, never done before." I say. "Alright, lets hear it." You reply happily. "What if you got trapped in the body of a tentacle monster that looks like a virus in a world that is like a videogame, with skills and... whoops slip of the tendril there, what I meant to say is Mutations and Levels as you evolve your way up from being that lowly creature into a slightly better lowly creature, all the while, an evil devil person watches over you for entertainment purposes." I say making weird hand gestures across the table. "Oh and that main character used to be a human male and uses its past experience as one to survive in this new world as a little mass of flesh." I pull out a little ball with suction cup tendrils and show you. "So, what do you think?" " I dont know seems, a little sameish, I think Im gonna go." You say as you start to get up from your worn but still plush velvet chair. "Wait" I sigh, " I didnt want to do this but you leave me no choice, I promise you an extremely diverse harem..." The door closes as you leave. "They'll come back." I say hopeful. Cover: https://phil.cdc.gov/Details.aspx?pid=21073

Forged in Fear and Fury - An Apocalyptic LitRPG
In an attempt to prevent Earths ensuing demise, it is ripped from the void by an entity known as The Totality. It is then fused with a Lost Dungeon World to increase its inhabitants chances of survival in a new, system-enhanced universe. Cade Vale barely avoids death in the first second. Will he be able to overcome the rigors of this new world and survive? Will he be able to carve a new life out of the aether for himself and those whom he loves most? ...Will he be able to avoid becoming everything he hates in order to do so? Artwork by Kayla Basciano - Instagram: vulpix1323 Inspired primarily by the systems in The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound, The Genesis System, and The New World as well as by Savage Divinity, Azarinth Healer, and Shovels in Spades in general. I haven't been able to get these worlds out of my head and I've been waiting for something to fill the void left by the hiatus of Genesis, but so far nothing has scratched that itch as much as ProfoundMagician was able to with the world he created. I figure if I'm going to be thinking about this stuff as much as I do I might as well get better at writing while playing with a number of those ideas that I love. I have a number of specifics and events I want to show in the story, but a lot of the fun is coming up with ways to branch those together cohesively. This is an attempt to alleviate my depression by channeling my creativity into a hobby. Hopefully it's as enjoyable to read as it is to write.
