《Jotaro Kujo (Part 6) - Remember Us》Last Chapter

It was a quiet evening. Let me rephrase that: it WAS a quiet evening. We were two weeks into our trip. Jotaro and I were having our time to ourselves before our dinner arrived to our hotel room.
One thing led to another. Now Jotaro was on the floor, on a cover of course. His hands were bound by handcuffs above his head as I held them there. The blindfold was over his eyes. Bite marks were littered all over his neck, shoulders, chest and thighs. He was panting and moaning against me.
"What else do you want? Hm?" I asked with my lips to his ear.
He panted, "More."
"More kisses?"
He shook his head no.
"No kisses?" I said surprised. I shrugged at the fact my mouth has basically been all over his body. "That makes sense."
"I want you to make me yours," he said. "More."
"Hm," I pondered. What he meant, was not getting through to me.
He continued, "I want it to hurt. I don't want to breathe."
"Uh," I said hesitantly.
That was a bit concerning. Considering that he was on that high and was still feeling the afterglow of our previous actions and stimulations, I moved the blindfold away from his eyes.
Jotaro's ocean eyes darted to me.
I asked, "You want it to hurt?"
He nodded.
"You don't want to breathe?"
He nodded again.
I leaned in to give him a kiss. Then I whispered, "Got it." I pushed the blindfold off his head to the floor. I wanted to keep watch on his expression, just in case. Well, here goes nothing. I put my hands to his throat. I could feel him swallow in anticipation. I pressed gently on the sides of his throat.
Jotaro moved his bound hands down over my head to around my shoulders. His legs wrapped around mine. He made sure no space was left in between us down below.
I kept my eyes on his.
He looked straight back at mine as a look of elation grew. His eyes were so expressive and content.
"Wow," I said. "You have the most beautiful eyes. I love them so much."
Jotaro began trembling.
"I love you so much," I continued. "You're mine, and don't forget it."
Ecstacy filled his being as he increased the friction between us. He wouldn't let any contact cease in between us.
I moved one hand from his neck to see where else I could pleasure him.
Then I stopped. I removed my other hand as well.
Jotaro took a few breaths as he trembled. His legs shook from around me. His eyes weren't focused on mine as they were before. A deep hum came from his lips.
I put my hand to his cheek.
He leaned his face into my hand. His legs loosened from around me.
I said surprised, "Did you just get off from that?"
He looked up at me still a bit out of it. Then his expression changed to say, 'Are you really asking that?'

I got up from over him and began unbuckling his handcuffs. I observed him.
"Yep... you really did. Man, am I glad we brought our own blanket because I don't think I can look room service in the eye after the mess we made." I massaged his thigh and asked, "How you doing, hun?"
Jotaro placed his hand over mine gently and exhaled. He twitched a little. He pat my hand and smiled tiredly. "I'm doing okay."
I kissed his forehead. "Good." I got from on top of him.
Just then, a knock came from the door. I grabbed a robe and put it on. I called, "In a second!" I looked down at Jotaro who was still on the floor. I said, "Stay put." I grabbed the blanket from the bed and concealed him completely.
I observed his body underneath the covers. All I could see was his breathing.
"Good enough."
I went to the door to the room service. I grabbed the food and brought it in to the table. I paid the worker at the door. I told him thank you and closed the door.
Jotaro sat up and making the covers fall off of him. He was back all cool and collected. He said, "Yare yare daze. You know, you can be very risky. It's almost concerning." He got up stumbling a little. He muttered, "Where's my underwear?"
"I'm risky?" I scoffed. "You're the one who wants to be choked." I grabbed his underwear that I placed on the table and passed it to him.
"Thanks," he muttered.
After he put on his underwear, a shirt, and his hat, we were at the table eating. It was nice and calm.
I decided to ask, "How did you do today?" I asked this because yesterday, while working, he had a panic attack in his temporary office. I found him slouched at his desk hyperventilating. It worried me if it would affect him today as well. Just because he was getting therapy doesn't mean he was going to not have problems occasionally.
He said, "It was better." He averted his eyes. "I got to study this particular starfish. You will see tomorrow. I like the way it looks. It has a spikey... sorry." He was actually about to ramble on, but we made an agreement not to talk about work when resting.
I shrugged, "Is it a starfish you like?"
He nodded.
"You can tell me what you like about it." I explained, "As long as we aren't working, that's okay. Why not tell me all about it?"
Jotaro exhale as a smile grew on his face. "Okay." He began on a whole spiel about the sea creature as we ate.
It was nice listening to him passionately speak about something he enjoyed. There was something in his eyes that brightens up quite a bit.
After we were done eating, I said, "I got you something while you were working." I got up from the table and went to the closet. "I know it was a bit awkward with a non matching hat when you wore that purple coat and pants. I remembered when you first put the outfit together, you got this hat made with it." I rummaged through the closet to take out a box.

"It got destroyed during the incident, and I wasn't sure if giving it to you would open bad memories for you. I learned that you can get through anything regardless."
I went to the table, and handed him the box.
When Jotaro opened it, he gasped softly. He called my name and looked to me with heartfelt eyes. He took off the hat he was currently wearing and put on the hat that was in the box. He stood up in front of me. He reached out to me hesitantly, but when he arms reached around my waist, he held me tight. "Thank you." He rocked me gently. "It's like I just remembered something I forgot. I am truly grateful."
"I'm glad."
The next day, he wore that hat with his purple coat and those very fashionable yellow and black pants. It looked quite complete.
Since it was our off day, we decided to go sight seeing that day. We ended up in an aquarium. I mean, why not?
We were in the squid exhibit. Jotaro stared up at the sea creature. It wasn't awe in his face, but it was calmness and familiarity. It was one of the few things he had extensive knowledge in, so it probably calmed him. It was almost how he looked at me when we were alone together.
"You're staring at me," he said, glancing at me.
"Is it so wrong to grasp the beauty of my husband?"
After a few seconds of silence, he said, "No. Then it shouldn't be a problem when I stare at you, right?" He gave me a smirk. His eyes did not leave me.
I laughed nervously, "Well, I just like to see you very comfortable." Then I said nearly whispering, "It's like you are in your element here. That look on your face it immeasurable. It's like you are at ease."
"I am at ease," he said. "Especially with you. It's like everything is in place how it should be."
We shared another moment of silence.
Then he said, "You know, I've never spoke about what I remembered about anyone since it was hard to explain. But I feel like you should know more than anyone else."
"I mean, as long as we make new memories, it should be okay. I trust you." Then I added jokingly, "And somehow, you trusted a random person who said they where your lover when you first woke up."
A chuckle came from his lips. Then he added, "There was just something about you. I felt it when I saw you. I was a mess, and the sight of you calmed me. After our encounter, I vowed that you would be the one I wanted to be with for the rest of my life."
"Oh," I said. My heart in my chest began beating heavily.
He continued, "As we spent time together and you encouraged me, I slowly remembered little things you've done. You took care of me. You loved me when I pushed you away. You've even tried to protect me. You are amazing."
I said barely about to get the words out, "Aw, stop that." I gently tapped his arm. It everything not start bawling on the spot.
"Really," he said. "I want to thank you even though you said to me, 'Don't thank me; I just love you. I'll do anything for you'."
I asked, "When did I say that?"
"When we were in Italy, when we were barely a couple," he answered. "You got me some tea and so many blankets that would put a hoarder to shame. I was finish breaking down after we had sex for the first time. Now that I think about it, I should be embarrassed, but you made everything so smooth."
"Y-you remember that?"
"I remember a few other fragments like when you brought me breakfast one morning. Like one of the nights I was sick, you gave me a bath. Like our first date. Like when we shared a room before we were a couple. I somehow forgot my hat. I left and came back to you masterb-."
"Why do you remember that?" I covered my face with my hands as a laugh bubbling from my lips.
"Well," he said. "I didn't know you liked me until then. I seemed to only remember a few big events in our relationship. I even remembered speaking to you before I went to save Jolyne and her friends. You were going to watch through me to make sure if I needed help, you would send it. I don't exactly remember what happened, but I appreciate that you had my back."
I pat his back and said, "Of course, forever and always."
He held me by the waist. "I'll make sure to have your back as well. You've done so much."
"So have you," I said.
A smile grew on his face. He let go of me and turned to face the squids. He pulled his hat down to cover his eyes. There was a light blush on his face.
I turned to face the sea creatures as well, but I still couldn't take my eyes off him.
Then I felt his hand against mine. I intertwined my fingers with his.
"You are so precious," I said.
Jotaro glanced over at me with a bashful grin.
Yeah, he was too precious. I wondered what else I could do to spoil him on our off day.
We will have plenty more days after that anyways.
Plenty more together.

8 131Shadow Falls
If you wanted to protect someone you loved, how far would you go, and what would you be willing to sacrifice? This question is at the core of this emotional rollercoaster of the book, Shadow Falls: the Rise and Fall of Erida VanIsle. This book emerged from four years of collaborative storytelling centering on the main character, Erida VanIsle, written by author Myra VanIsle. In this book, VanIsle goes beyond the events that led to Erida's sacrifice and explores forty-five years of the cost she paid to protect the sister she loved more than life itself. Shadow Falls explores the family tragedy which led to the separation of two sisters on completely different paths polar opposite of each other. While Erida set upon a path of darkness and power, Myra set out to be a beacon of light and hope bringing justice and peace to others. Be warned, the story VanIsle tells is dark and not easy, because you can't have the light without the dark.
