I sat still as John pulled the last bit of glass out of my back and I winced.
"You won't need stitches at least. Whoever cleaned most of these wounds did a good job. Who's you get to do it?" John asked as he finished putting on the final bandage.
"Just an acquaintance," I replied.
"Was it that woman?" John asked handing me a clean shirt.
"Yes," I said pulling on my shirt.
"Just a friend?"
"Yes,"
"Hmm..." John said setting the gauze on the side table.
"Thank you," I said mildly.
John nodded.
"I've got to head out. Mary wants me to help her redecorate the study. Call me if the wounds start bleeding again," John said standing up.
I nodded as I plopped into my arm chair. I watched John collect his things and leave, then I shut my eyes tightly and pressed my hands together. Taking deep breaths. In, and out. In, and out.

I opened my eyes and I was standing on an elegant marble floor. A large chandelier hung over my head and beautiful paintings covered the walls. I looked ahead of me at the enormous mahogany stair case with an iron hand rail. I rested my hand on it and I was suddenly upstairs. A long corridor stretched in front of me. It almost seemed to go infinitely foreword with doors parallel to each other on both sides. I walked to the first door and pushed open the door. Lucy stood in the room with a pleasant smile on her face.
"See, Sherlock? Even here you can't stop thinking about me. I'm "interesting" as you would say. You want to know about me," I turned and slammed the door. I walked to the second door and flung it open and Lucy stood crouching over Mike Inger, Samuel, Simon Menger, and Edger. They were laying on the floor, their eyes shut. Lucy looked up at me and stood up. She'd changed clothes now, she wore calf-high sleek, black boots and a black leather jacket with a white, lacy shirt underneath and a short, white skirt.

"They're all connected. You know that. All three of them, not just the fact that they look exactly the same. You know it not a weird DNA thing. That's impossible," She leans down and picks up Samuel's arms and shows Sherlock the man's hand.
"The finger prints are identical. But you saw that. They're all the same person, but they have lived different lives. But you're trying to ignore it, because-"
"Because it's not possible,"
"Correct. It's not possible, so...."
Lucy said with a smile. I nodded and turned leaving the room.
I went to the next room and opened it. Lucy stood with her arms crossed. Her hair lay softly on her shoulders in big, beautiful curls. She wore a short, strapless, blue dress. I groaned.
"Why are you in my head?" I said running my fingers through my hair.
"Because you can't stop thinking about me. I'm always in your head, Sherlock. I'm just like you and you love it. You're getting feelings for me and you've never had feelings for anyone romantically before,"Lucy said stepping towards me. She put her hand against my cheek lightly. Her eyes stared deeply into mine. They were beautiful and they sparkled like the stars.
"You're gonna loose me, Sherlock. You know what to do," I took her hand off my face.
"I'm dangerous. People who get close to me get hurt," I said turning away from her. I blinked and I was suddenly in another room. This room was dark and smelled of blood and rotting meat. The lights flickered angrily making clicking noises and a single chair sat in the middle of the room. The light barely illuminated the back of someone's head as they sat in the chair and I heard the drumming of the person's fingers on the chair's arm. I took a step towards the chair and the light bulb burst, leaving the stranger and I in utter darkness. I didn't know that utter silence could be so loud. I took a single step and the echo of my heel hitting the cold, concrete floor seemed the bounce of the walls searching for an escape. Then there was a voice seemingly inexistent in the darkness that swallowed my entire body whole. It was a voice that I always heard in my head. Every waking moment he was there.

"Children often have an irrational fear of the dark. Scared the monsters will come and eat their eyeballs out with a spoon. You and I both have learned that all the real monsters are human. You'd know that best, Shirley. See? Here we are, together again. The two monsters that turned London topsy-turvy," I turned around in a circle trying desperately to locate the origin of the voice to no avail. I paused suddenly as a frigid breath caressed my neck and sent shivers down my spine. He whispered in my ear and I willed myself not to move.
"You and I make a great pair, Sherlock. I start the crime, you finish it," I spun around to try and grab his arm but he was gonna in an instant.
"You're behind all this? The robbery and the memory loss?" I asked.
"NO! SHERLOCK! YOU ARE SO STUPID! YOU AND YOUR STUPID SEXY FACE! THINK SHERLOCK!! YOU KNOW THE ANSWER! YOU'VE SEEN EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO SEE TO SOLVE THE BLOODY CASE!" His shouts bounced off the walls and made my ear drums burn as each of his words hit me again and again.
His voice softened and he sounded like an upset mother who's son had just broken a plate.
"Sherlock!" He whined, "I thought you were clever! All that fan mail I wrote, wasted on someone who can't see what's right in front of his damn face. COME ON!"
* * * * * *
My eyes slowly opened and I took in a huge breath that I didn't know I needed. Lucy stood at the fireplace with my skull in her hands.
"Oi!"I shouted loudly making Lucy swear loudly and jump, almost dropping the skull.
"Jesus, Sherlock! You nearly gave me a heart attack!" She said exasperated as she set down the skull.
"Then don't touch my stuff," I said simply. I couldn't help cracking a small smile at Lucy's leap in the air.
"Oh, piss off!" She said sitting on the couch. "I was hoping you'd died and you were stuck in that position. You've disappointed me severely. You haven't moved for four days," Lucy said, with a touch of concern.
"Yes. And I think I should ask for forgiveness for my unnecessary accusations and the childish manner in which I gave them," I confessed.
"Is that an apology?" Lucy suggested, raising an eyebrow.
My throat seemed to be constricting and I managed to croak out a reply.
"......perhaps," I muttered.
Lucy gave me a tiny, sympathetic side smile.
"I will accept your shit apology considering your sympathy for others
seems to be new,"
I rolled my eyes and stood up beginning the trip to my room, but I paused remembered why I'd been sitting in the chair for four days. I spun around and the biggest grin spread across my face and Lucy stepped back.
"Woah....are you high again? That's horrifying.."
I ran towards Lucy and she squealed as I picked her up by the waist and spun her around in a circle.
She burst into laughter.
"Sherlock!"
I set her down and put my hands on her shoulder kissing her on the cheek lightly. She beamed from ear to ear and brushed her hair from her face. Her eyes shone brightly with joy and I wondered if she's always looked as beautiful as she did now.
"What's gotten you all excited? Don't stall anymore!" She pressed.
"I've solved it,"
