《hunter x hunter》Spring Break
Advertisement
So THIS is why I was so out of ideas...it's Spring Break and everyone is on vacation, including our fave cast of characters. They're all too busy partying to pop into my head and give me anything to write about, naughty boys.
Everyone is staying at the same hotel in a huge party destination town for a week, and here is how it is going.
-Stays up all night long partying
-As soon as the sun rises, takes off for the beach
-Spends literally all day at the beach
-Stays up again partying
-You catch a glimpse of him running around and he is laughing and saying "Dude, this is the best week of my life!"
-You have no idea how he isn't dead by now
-Is in a bad mood because Kurapika booked all the hotel rooms and put him in with Illumi
-"You guys are brothers, for crying out loud," says Kurapika. "None of the rest of us want to look at your naked asses while you get dressed and brush your teeth"
-Booked all the hotel rooms, drew up a budget for everyone to stick to, yada yada
-It was very stressful and when he finally arrives at the hotel, he sighs with relief and decides to treat himself to a mindless soak in the sun on the beach
-He scrolls through news stories on his phone
-There are like 800 stories about case counts and Spring Break super-spreaders
-He starts to sweat profusely
-Leorio's eyes just may fall out of his head due to the thousands of hot chicks walking around in skimpy bikinis
-"Hey, Leorio, wanna play volleyball with us?"
-"Yo...Leorio?"
-"LEORIO????"
-"Forget about him, he's such a perv"
-Demanded his own hotel room
-Kurapika was annoyed, but let him have it, because he knew what was going to happen

-The hotel front desk registers a record number of complaint calls regarding that particular room
-You hear a few girls at a bar saying "Have you heard about that guy throwing the epic parties in his room at the (name of hotel)?"
-You eventually see Hisoka on the local news broadcast
-"Spring break? I'm 24 years old"
-"I have a job...employed people don't do Spring break"
-Grumbling, he agrees to go along to make sure Killua doesn't get into any trouble
-He spends most of his time in the hotel putting together various documents for work and calls the front desk with complaints about Hisoka's room approximately four or five times a day
-Immediately thinks this is a primo opportunity to rob everyone blind
-Drunk people running around, leaving their valuables in hotel rooms, etc...genius, right?
-He puts on a straw hat, a t-shirt that says "Shut Up, Liver, You're Fine," and a pair of sunglasses
-Then coolly goes from bar to bar putting knockout drugs in everyone's drinks
-At the end of the week he disappears
-Headlines pop up about a major local heist, the biggest one the city has seen in history
-Has been instructed by Chrollo to do some easy work, like pickpocketing, while the Boss does the harder stuff
-Examines himself in the mirror. He does not look like he will fit in to the beach bar scene
-He goes to the drugstore and gets some platinum blond hair bleach, figuring he can just dye it back later
-Once he's blond, he puts on a pair of swim trunks and flip flops and sets out to see who he can rip off
-A bunch of frat guys make fun of him: "Hey shrimp, nice tan, NOT. You're blinding us"
-"Give me a day or two to lay out," he replies calmly. "I just got here"
-Ten minutes later, all the frat guys realize their wallets are gone
-Chrollo also has instructed Shal to do some easy work
-Shalnark says sure, sure, no problem
-In his head, though, he's thinking, "The fuck I'm going to work, this is vacation"
-He is afraid Chrollo will see him out on the town, so he spends the bulk of his time in Hisoka's room

I stood above a pond, the water as black and deep as the abyss. I started walking but with each step, the water rose, or was it me that drowned? I could only walk forward as the water consumed me. Knees, waist, chest, neck, eyes, and finally, I was fully submerged. It was too late to turn back. Was it all worth it? ----------------------- If there is a "*" after the chapter it is re-written. A Merchants Tale
Legends rise. Country’s fall. Empires wage war. But what supports these great powers, allowing them to function as a single organism. Is it the common man, Farmers and Millers forming the backbone of the land? The Soldiers and Guards keeping public order? The Wives and Widows supporting from the side-lines? The Nobles from their seats of power? Or the elusive Sorcerers who wield power untold? And what maggots crawl in this great creature, all trying to get a piece of its slowly decaying flesh. The gangs of the Underworld hidden in the shadows? The Bandits and Deserters hiding at the edges, ready to pounce on any weakness? Witches and Warlocks working their dark art? Or other Nations clawing at their neighbour’s, salivating over the riches they stand to gain from another’s demise. There is one group that belongs to neither group. They thrive on others misfortune and bring with them salvation and destruction in equal measure. They can raise a kingdom up or tear it down screaming and kicking. These are the merchants, the lifeblood of kingdoms, because what is the one thing above all else men crave. Is it Love? Power? Destruction? All these things can be acquired with one simple thing. Wealth. Wealth is the true power behind the world. Wealth can buy army’s, strangle kingdoms, and turn even the most devout man from his faith. Merchants come in many forms, shapes and sized, some gaudy, bleeding the people for all their worth, some tricky, preferring to make contracts and debts to trap men. And some desperate, doing all they can to sell even the most worthless of junk. This is a story of one merchant who goes against all a merchant stands for. He works not for profit but for some unseen goal, a prophesy aeons old. He comes and goes like a ghost, bringing with him hope and victory. All pray for his arrival to spare them from despair. But what about when he doesn’t show? What about the people he doesn’t save? For this man is no angel, no saint sent to save the masses. His goal was never to deliver hope. It merely isn’t time for their destruction yet. For nothing is eternal. And all things must end. But what comes after? Quick disclaimer in response to the review I got, this is my first story and somewhat of an experiment for me, hopefully my writing will get better the more I practice. Thanks for any helpful advice :)
