So, I had a request from the lovely @Gings_Milk_can to write a BF scenario detailing their reactions when seeing their S/O trying on a wedding dress.

As a traditionalist, I will hold that it is bad luck to see one's intended in their gown before the wedding, but hey, we all know I play like a champion.

-"Too young for this scenario, AGAIN."

-"Who wants to get married, anyway? Weddings are expensive."

-"Like your family can't afford it."

-"Hey, what if WE got married one day?"

-"What if we did?"

-"Would you wear a dress?"

-"Sure, if you wanted me to. Would YOU wear one?"

-"I'd have to think about it. It might really piss my mother off." (Rubs hands gleefully) "That would be great, actually."

-(You dreamily wander out of the dressing room, enmeshed in fine silks and hand-embroidery, looking an absolute dream)

-Kurapika sighs and wonders how much money you're wasting on this nonsense

-"Oh my! You look beautiful! Like an angel! Amazing! I'm...getting a tear in my eye, I'm so touched!"

-(He's secretly wondering what you're wearing under the dress)

-"Why did you choose something so puffy?"

-"Because I always dreamed of looking like a princess , in a Cinderella ballgown....."

-(Hisoka makes a rude noise)

-"You don't like it?"

-"I would prefer something more form-fitting. I can't see any of your goodies in that monstrosity."

-"Well, deal with it; this is supposed to be a spiritual occasion, you horndog."

-(Once the dress is hanging in your closet, Hisoka employs Machi and her threads to alter the gown into a slinky bodycon style. You don't discover this until it's time to actually walk down the aisle.)

-"Illumi, sugar honey sexy pumpkin pie, what do you think of my wedding dress? Am I going to look beautiful for you on our big day?"

-(He gives you a perfunctory glance)

-"Does my mother approve of it?"

-(Chrollo sits back, a smug smile of self-satisfaction on his face, because he was the one who infiltrated the ritziest bridal salon in Yorknew and stole the most expensive, exquisite gown available for you.)

-(You emerge from the dressing room in an immaculate white silk gown)

-(Feitan looks you up and down, approvingly, then his face gets a pained look)

-"What's wrong? Don't you like it? I thought it was really pretty."

-(He's suddenly overcome with worry that he might accidentally miss a spot lathering up in the shower and might leave some sort of bloody gunk-mark on the dress during the first kiss or first dance.)

-"Maybe...you wear black? Just to be different?"

-"Well? How do I look?"

-"I'm going to be the only normal one here, as usual. It's bad luck to see you before the wedding, but you look absolutely fantastic, baby!"
