Anders Larzelere's PoV:

o, an how ou ff o hem.

"Same clothes? Again?" I exclaim, appraising her lean form adorned in a loose-fitted red shirt and dark wash jeans, as I enter the living room. She's lazily sprawled across one of the humungous sofas, her eyes flitting across the newspaper, as she scans through it.

"We look cute." Alarice looks at me up and down from above the paper, and shrugs. I roll my eyes and she smirks all of a sudden. Instantly, it reminds me of the 'incident-that-shall-not-be-named', which happened about 30 minutes ago.

I stifle the urge to blush, shaking me head with a smile instead.

"What've you got planned for today?" I query, curious, looking at her with slightly narrowed eyes.

Alarice chuckles and folds the newspaper, putting it back on the glass coffee table carelessly. She stands up, pulling down the hem of her shirt and stretching herself, arching her back slightly.

I quickly look away, before my eyes get glued to her.

"Oh. Nothing much." She makes a dismissal gesture with her hand, "Just a little Date." She smiles innocently at me, batting her lashes.

What?! Date?!

I glower at her, crossing my arms across my chest defiantly. "A date?" I repeat, looking at her suspiciously.

"Yep. Koy is coming too." Alarice smiles in delight, and the bad feeling in my stomach intensifies, letting me know that there's something seriously wrong with this situation.

"Who's this, 'Koy'?" I ask, dubious.

"Oh. Koy is my bes—I mean, ex-best friend!" Alarice informs, but something about the way she tells it in itself, doesn't sit well with me.

So Koy is the girl she's competing against?

"Her boyfriend, Raphael Volkov is also coming." She adds with an enthusiastic grin, making me look at her with confusion.

"So?"

"'So'?! You're asking me that? So, I can show you off to them!" She exclaims, widening her eyes and spreading her hands for emphasis.

I grimace. "I'm not a prize, you know?"

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean it like that!" She apologizes profusely, looking alarmed.

I consider telling her that she actually kidnapped me like an item, giving no respect to my feelings whatsoever, but shove that thought away.

"It's fine." I say quickly, turning in the direction of the dining hall.

I can hear her sigh and follow me, "Anders, please. I didn't mean to sound that way!" She apologizes once again, placing a hand on my shoulder as she rushes to catch up with me.

I shrug her hand off. "Really—" She starts, but I turn around abruptly, interrupting her.

"Don't apologize. Tell me the plan." I interject and she shuts up, nodding quickly.

"Okay. We're meeting them at Hotel Missoni..."

We're sitting on two bar stools at the kitchen island, having our breakfast. I listen intently, paying rapt attention to her words, but somewhere along the way, my attention shifts to her lips.

The full pink lips that kissed the hell out of me...

I lick my lips at the memory, feeling hot just at the thought of it.

"Um, excuse me." Alarice says all of a sudden, breaking me out of a trance.

"What?" I look at her quaking form in confusion, wondering why she's so wound up all of a sudden.

She doesn't reply, instead drops her fork on the plate with a loud clang. I think I see her fingers tremble, but she looks at me once with tight eyes, and I almost jump out of my skin when I see dark brown eyes in the place of light gold.

What the hell?

Before I can ask anything further, Alarice is out of her seat, bolting towards the door.

^^^

It's five now. We're supposed to meet the other couple at 6. And I've spent my entire day roaming around the house, playing games in my BB Priv, and even taking a 'siesta'—like my mum used to say—in the afternoon.

I haven't seen my fiancée all day.

So now, she's your 'Fiancée' instead of 'kidnapper'? My conscious mocks me,

I ignore him, burying my head into the throw pillow on the couch.

I hear the sound of footsteps and turn my head lazily to the side, resting it on the armrest.

It's Alarice.

And she's smiling at me like she didn't just freak out and run to her room in the morning.

"It's almost time! You need to get dressed!" She exclaims, her eyes lighting up with excitement.

I look at her, completely weirded out.

"Are you bipolar, or something?" I blurt, raising my brows in emphasis as I examine her huge smile.

She's always smiling.

And no matter how much I try, I can't find anything fake about it. It's like, the smile is always there on her face. Like, she was born with it or something.

I shake my head at myself at my stupidity.

"I had a severe case of vomiting." She announces with yet another grin, which I doubt anyone does while talking about their sickness, "I didn't think you wanted to see me puking into the toilet bowl all day." She tilts her head and shrugs, looking sincere.

Vomiting? Why does that sound like a lie to me?

I don't push it though.

"Okay." I sigh out. "Let's go," I nod in the direction of the second floor and she grins from ear to ear, clapping her hands excitedly as she bounds up the stars, her steps almost making her look like she's dancing. Her hair whips behind her in the air, a waterfall of dark chocolate.

I push away yet another urge to holler, 'Show off' and follow her, running up the stairs, taking them two at a time as well.

"Are you fûckin' kidding me?" I ask, looking at her walk-in-closet with wide eyes.

And when I say wide, I mean really wide.

"Nope." Alarice says, popping the 'p' and she skips ahead of me, walking to the end of the closet.

But I'm rooted to my place. My feet are cemented to the ground. And my jaw is touching the floor.

"C'mere!" Alarice calls behind her, but I ignore it, looking at this place in awe.

Because this closet is almost half the size of her room.

But even that isn't so shocking, 'Coz, my closet back home is kinda big as well.

The thing is, the rectangular room is divided into two.

Left side: Girls clothes.

Right side: Guys clothes.

Even that isn't shocking.

The biggest shocker of all is, identical clothes are hanging on both sides.

Ranging from pjs to casual wear, both the sides have the same clothes, and some even have same shoes and watches!

She's lucky she's a tomboy, so she mostly doesn't wear dresses. That makes it even easier for her to find clothes that are alike.

But when the hell did she buy all this stuff?!

"Anders!" Alarice calls and I swallow down my shock, walking inside.

There're formal clothes in here.

On the left side there're about 5 or 6 dresses hanging, and parallel to them, on the right side, there are about the same number of suits hanging, with matching ties.

I think I've gotten over my shock.

Hell, who am I kidding? I'll be always shocked whenever I enter this closet, even if it's fifty years from now.

Wait, Anders. Who even told you that you're staying here for fifty years?!

I push that dangerously frightening thought away.

Alarice, who's rifling through the contents of the closet, turns to me with two hangers with dresses on either hands.

"So, which dress shall I wear?"

I sigh, wondering if this girl will ever cease to surprise me.

^^^

I'm ready.

After selecting the turquoise colored dress with the ribbon going around the neck—I think there's a name for it?—Alarice kicked me out of the closet, inside which she's still there.

And, I'm waiting for her, fully dressed, even my hair gelled back formally.

The closet's door opens.

And my mouth opens as well.

Was there a vanity table in there?

I had thought she must come out and apply make-up and all, and it's going to make us late.

The Angel smiles at me, her light pink painted lips stretching in a dazzling grin.

My heart falls to the floor.

What is this, Anders? You act like you have freaking feelings for her!

Nope. I am not. Not again.

"How do I look?" She exclaims with excitement, flashing me yet another breath-hitching grin.

My eyes rake over her form slowly.

Her dark chocolate hair is pulled up in an artistic hairdo, a few curly strands framing her face elegantly. Two dark brows arching down like the bow of a hunter, and a nose without a mark or a blemish—an artist's fantasy. Golden eyes shining as bright as the early morning sun, and pink lips painted even pinker that look like the tastiest berries.

And tasty, they are.

I quickly pull my thoughts away from the gutter, going back to checking her out openly, 'cause c'mon, she herself gave me permission!

Her turquoise dress compliments her smooth, tan skin perfectly, and falls two inches above her knees. From then on, her long legs seem to go on forever, and finally, her feet are strapped with a pair of golden high heels, matching the color of the shining stones in her dress.

"Wow. Amazing." I breathe, shocked, but not shocked at the same time, because I kinda expected she would look absolutely breath-taking. Angel is the most fitting description for her.

She blushes slightly. "Thank you." She mumbles, looking away.

I wonder if she'll be taller than me in the heels?

I hope not.

"Um, shall we go?" I stand up from the bean bag I was sitting on, adjusting my tie self-consciously.

"Alright, sexy." Alarice winks at me, and I flush, cursing myself under my breath as I walk to the door.

^^^

"Going out?" A voice asks, and I turn to see Kade walking from the kitchen with a two plates of food in his hands.

Maybe he's taking the other plate for his new girlfriend...

Sigh. I know that's too much to hope.

"Yes." I answer curtly and turn around, walking faster.

"We're meeting Koy," Alarice replies to him, and then I can hear the clacking of heels, alerting me that she's walking to the door as well.

"Like this?" Kade asks, stopping me in my tracks.

I turn around slowly.

"Why? What's wrong?" Alarice questions, confused.

"With him walking two feet ahead and you trailing behind?" Kade asks with a mocking smirk. "A real couple will not do that." He rolls his eyes in the most infuriating manner, and my teeth gnash together on their own.

I doubt anyone has ever made me this angry in 5 seconds.

I shake my head and walk to Alarice, wrapping my arm around her waist and pulling her close to my side.

Crap. That's a mistake.

Because her entire body is pressed up to mine, now.

Mhm...

Kade's dark eyes twinkle with amusement.

"Happy?" I bite out, glowering.

"Very." He replies, throwing in a wink.

I resist the urge to say something, and drag Alarice to the door, trying to control a groan when her soft curves brush against my body with every move.

"Have a great time, guys!" He calls and I can feel Alarice chuckling from beside me.

Oh, how I wish that guy would disappear off the face of earth...

No negative feelings towards anyone, Anders. No negative feelings, I chide myself and prepare my mind for the Date ahead.

I hope I don't get kidnapped again by another Angel.
