《Achilles (Wattys2015)》Chapter 12

The next morning I woke up to Achilles bringing me breakfast in bed, I was blushing like crazy. He laid beside me as I ate my food, neither one of us saying anything. Eventually he started to take my bacon pieces, but once we reached the last one I slapped his hand away and shoved it in my mouth. He then proceeded to scowl at me for an hour after that.
I was cleaning myself up when Sadie barged in, her eyes lit up as she saw me. She hugged me then started rambling about something, jumping up and down. I furrowed my eyebrows and stared at her, trying to figure out why she's excited.
"Did you find your mate or something?" I asked, grabbing my comb.
Sadie laughed, "No! Achilles just came up with an idea to get you away from the stress for the day."
I looked at the suddenly shy Achilles, he kept glancing around the room as Sadie continued to ramble on. I quickly hushed Sadie before focusing on Achilles, my eyebrow rasied. "Achilles, what is the surprise?" I questioned.
He sighed, "I was thinking..." he started, scratching the back of his neck. "That...we could go to your parents' beach house for the weekend actually."
I gaped at him, he would actually take me to the beach house for the weekend because he doesn't want me to be stressed? I know I sound stupid, but I've never had any guy do this for me. Even my boyfriends before I met Jason, they were all the same. Just taking me to their house for dinner or the movies, it got boring. They refused to spend a day at the lake or beach, they didn't even want to go to Six Flags for the day. It was annoying and disappointing, but then here's Achilles. Took me to my parents' cabin and we stayed for the night and now he wants to take me to the beach house.
I smiled and nodded enthusiastically, throwing my arms around him as I pulled him into a hug. I quickly kissed him, excitement swirling within me. He chuckled, pulling me close to him as he kissed my neck. My back was pressed against his chest with him playfully nibling my ear.
I looked over to see Sadie with a horrified look on her face, I stuck my tongue out at her. "Go and get packed." I said, laughing a little.
She swallowed then narrowed her eyes, "Are you guys going to do it?"
We both just stared at her, "Sadie! You can't ask that!"
"Why not? It's America, freedom of speech."
"Sadie, go get packed."
She smirked before leaving, closing my door while telling us to use protection. I freed myself from Achilles' arms and locked the door. I then turned around with a seductive smile on my face, his eyes slowly turning black.

"Well, I never said we weren't doing it." I whispered as I walked back over.
He swallowed and clenched his jaw, his eyes wide and black. Before either one of us could blink, Achilles had thrown me onto the bed. He crawled on top of me and started to kiss me roughly. Our hands traveled each other's bodies as he grinded onto me. I could feel his excitement and caused me to become even more aroused. With one lustful glance we made love again.
"Okay, so everything is packed?" I asked.
Achilles sighed, "Yes, can I go pee now?"
"I said you could go pee an hour ago."
"Oh..."
I rolled my eyes as he sprinted towards the packhouse, almost knocking over poor Blake. Ryan snickered at him as he stumbled before stopping himself from falling. Blake flashed him an irritated look, but didn't start an argument. He then walked over and threw Sadie's final bag into the trunk.
"Sadie, how many bags do you have?" I gasped.
Sadie poked her head out from the car window, "Ten, why?"
"We're going for the weekend, not the whole damn month!"
She shrugged, "I don't like putting my shirts, pants, underwear, bras, make-up, hari stuff, and so on in the same suit case."
I gaped at her then just shook my head, she's impossible sometimes. I turned towards Blake, "If there's an emergency just tell me or Achilles."
He nodded, "Yes, Alpha. Achilles is going to have Beta Reese come over and help out while you're gone as well....is he nice?"
I laughed, "Yes, his sister should be coming too."
"Hey, maybe his sister is your mate, Blake!" Sadie chirped from the car.
Blake seemed doubtful, but Ryan slung his arm around his shoulders and smiled. "You never know dude, she could be. Stop losing doubt."
"Says the ladies' man." Blake mumbled.
"Well, now I'm Mona's man. Just relax, you'll find her."
I smiled, even though they try killing each other sometimes, they are like brothers. If one of them get injured the other is protective of them. I guess it helps they were both abandoned as children and ended up meeting each other before meeting my pack. Achilles walked out of the packhouse, a relieved face as he sighed.
"Alright, let's go!" he beamed.
I rolled my eyes, smiling at him while shaking my head. I said bye to Ryan and Blake before hopping into the passenger's seat. I put the address into the GPS so Achilles doesn't get lost on the way, with the stories I've heard, he most likely would without technology. Sadie was humming a random tune as we started to leave the packgrounds. I was a little nervous with leaving my pack alone for a night and two days, but I know they're in good hands.

The whole way down there we talked about random things and sang random songs, even though Achilles would just say we sound like dying walruses. I grinned, telling Sadie to continue annoying my lovely mate. Achilles flashed me an annoyed glare which caused me to burst out laughing, but I didn't stop singing. It wasn't until we stopped for gas did Achilles finally snap and got out of the car. He slammed the door shut and walked into the little shop, telling us he's going to get us snacks.
Sadie and I just stayed silent, "Maybe we should have stopped." I whispered.
Sadie waved him off, "Who cares? He can learn to grow a pair and get over himself. Hey, do you think I'll see my mate?"
I pursed my lips, "You could, but I suggest we don't annoy him again. I know for a fact that he has a very short temper."
"Oh, trust me, I know. He snapped at Catherine the other day...she said one thing and it was like his mind just exploded and he lost it. He can't handle certain situations, can he?"
"I'm not sure, but I know he hates it when we annoy him."
"Yeah, but he needs to learn it's just for fun. Nothing to get all tense and pissed off about." she replied, her tone hinting her own annoyance.
We stayed silent as we waited for him to come back, but it took him awhile. I groaned and got out of the car, ordering Sadie to stay in it. She nodded and put her headphones in, looking out the window. I walked into the shop and easily spotted him, he was leaning against the counter, waiting for someone. I instantly wanted to growl when a young girl about my age ran over. She smiled and batted her eyelashes as Achilles turned around to pay. He ignored her flirting as he grabbed the money from his wallet.
"So, hot stuff, where are you going?" she questioned.
"The beach with my girlfriend and her sister." he replied, his tone was emotionless.
She had a flash of jealousy and I smirked. "Well, you seem annoyed. Is she a pain in the ass?"
"Sometimes, but I still love her. It makes her, her."
I blushed and smiled, even when he hates my guts he's still in love with me. I continued watching, knowing neither one of them saw me. The girl frowned, taking a day and forever to open the cash register.
"Well, why don't you hang with me and leave her in the car for a little while longer? I could give you something...special." she cooed, trying to sound seductive.
Disgust was evident in Achilles' eyes as he glared at her, "I'm sorry, but I'm only faithful to one girl and that's my girl. So, why don't you go and get yourself a boyfriend. Maybe even a test for STDs if you offer your body that easily to any handsome guy walking around." he snapped.
The girl gaped at him, anger was now evident as she growled at him. "Listen, I know you're a werewolf, buddy. I'm not only half werewolf, but I'm also a hunter. So, I suggest you fix your attitude."
I internally groaned, can't we go to the beach without a threat from another werewolf or hunter. Achilles seemed stunned, but then he quickly masked it. He continued to glare at the half werewolf girl, anger replacing the mask.
"I don't care what you are, if I snap your neck your little hunter friends wouldn't even know." he smirked. "I disabled all your cameras, I could smell your revolting scent the minute I parked my car. Now, I suggest, if you want to live then you'll give me the change and leave me the hell alone."
She only continued to give him a dirty look, her eyes a little darker now. She opened up her mouth to say something, but I quickly ran over and wrapped my arms around his mid-section. I then looked at her, a smirk on my face.
"Is everything okay?" I asked.
The girl glowered at me, "No, he's-
"I've already saw everything, I'm just being polite. Now, give us the change and we'll leave. You can't face the two of us, not even with that silver knife on her waist."
Her eyes widened as my smirk only grew, she wasn't expecting that it seems. She seemed defeated as she handed us the change, grumbling a "have a nice day". I smiled sweetly, thanked her, and then left. I quickly let go of Achilles, knowing my touch probably annoyed him right now. However, he quickly grabbed me and pulled me close, kissing my head as we walked out.
I got into the passenger's seat and put my seatbelt on, staying silent. Achilles started up the car and drove back onto the road, both of us refusing to speak. I glanced at Sadie to see her sleeping in the back, a small smile on my face.
"I'm sorry for snapping at you." Achilles sounded.
I looked at him then looked away, "I'm sorry for being annoying."
He frowned, a guilty look on his face. When we reached a red light he gently grabbed my jaw and made me look at him, he then kissed me. I was too stunned and he had to move the car once again, I then smiled. I leaned over and kissed his cheek.
"I love you, baby girl." he whispered.
"I love you too." I replied.
