Jukes first kiss, luke gets nervous

Julie and Luke had been together for a couple of weeks now, and everything was great.

They often cuddled and held hands and sometimes they would do cheek kisses but never kissed on the lips.

It wasnt that luke didnt want to kiss Julie he did...a lot, but the thing is he had never kissed anyone before and didn't want to mess it up so he just avoided it for the time being.

Julir never asked questions and he was glad because how embarrassing is it that the boy that had every girl and even some boys falling over their feet, had never kissed anyone.

Luke knew he would get over his nerves eventually but today was not the day...or so he thought.

"Hey babe" Julie greeted as she got into Luke's car, placing her school bag in the back seat with his.

"Hey sweets, you ready for another hellish day at school?" Luke greeted back a pout rested on his lips when he mentioned school.

Julie giggled and swiped her thumb over Luke's lips to get him to stop pouting which left luke stunned.

"No but hey at least its friday" julie finally replied.

Luke broke out of his transe and started the engine of his car.

"By the way, I'm taking you on a date after school, and we are going straight after so we have a whole evening" said Luke as he started driving.

Julie sputtered "wh- bu- Luke!"

"What?" Asked luke eyes still focussed on the road.

"I have to get changed!" Julie exclaimed.

"I brung a cute dress that you left at mine, you can change in the car" said luke just as they pulled up at school, the drive wasnt far from Julies.

Julie sighed "fine"

The couple got out of the car, hand in hand and walked into the school building, stopping by Julie's locker.

While Julie was sorting books in her locker the school bell rang signalling first period. Julie and luke had different classes in different directions so he reluctantly let go of her hand and said goodbye.

"I dont want to leave you" pouted Luke

Julie smiled softly "I will see you in an hour in our next class"

Luke groaned but let go of her hand.

"Fine, I gotta go but see you in precisely 58 minutes"

Just as Julie turned back to her locker to close it luke suddenly pulled her close to his chest, arm around her waist making her gasp in surprise.

"You look beautiful by the way" he whispered softly in her ear and kissed her cheek then walked to his first class.

Julie had butterflies in her stomach that were going crazy. She smiled thinking she was so lucky to get a boy like Luke patterson then rushed to her first class. She was late but she didnt care.

~time skip to after school~

Julie walked out of the school doors looking for luke who had texted her to meet him at the front of the school.

Suddenly an arm curled around her waist and julie tensed for a moment before realising it was just luke.

"Hey" he murmured, his face in her wild curls.

Julie smiled at her boyfriend lovingly, taking his hand in her own.

"Hey, you ok?" She asked in a low voice.

"Todays been awful, Mr Galloway is on my back about a test that I failed but I'm excited to take you on that date I promised" he said suddenly perking up at the end and took his face out of her curls, dragging her to his car.

Julie giggled at his excitement.

~time skip to when they're at the date because I'm lazy~

Luke pulled up to a field of flowers.

"Its so pretty" whispered Julie, her eyes widened in amazement.

Luke grinned at her "I know right, now come on" he got put of the car and bounced over to Julie's side opening the door for her.

"M'lady" he jokingly bowed

Julie got out of the car taking the hand he had put out for her to take.

"Why thankyou kind sir" she giggled

Luke made his way to the trunk of the car getting out a picnic basket and a blanket.

The two walked through the field till they found a spot that was only grass without flowers so they didnt squash any.

Once they had set up they sat down next to each other, knees touching.

"This is perfect Luke, thankyou" said Julie looking around.

Luke smiled "always, now let's eat I brought chocolate filled donuts!" Said luke as he scavenged in the basket.

Julie gasped excitedly "yes! Chcolate filled donuts are my favourite!"

The date was a success, they ate, the danced, they ran around and played tag like they were 5 again.

Now they were sat on the blanket in eachothers arms.

"Look Jules" whispered Luke pointing at the sky which was filled with pink, orange and red colours.

"Wow" murmured Julie as she looked at the pretty sunset.

Suddenly it was like time stopped, Julie turned to look up at Luke who she found was already looking at her.

It was like the world had disappeared as they both stayed locked in eachothers gazes.

It was unclear who leant in first but they were both inches apart. They were about to kiss when....

Luke pulled away at the last minute stumbling as he stood

Julie opened her eyes confused at what just happened.

"Luke?" She questioned also standing up, shivering now that Luke's warm body wasnt keeping her warm.

Luke was turned around not facing her.

"I'm sorry, I've messed everything up. I wanted to kiss you, I really did- I do" he said his voice wavering.

Julie took a step closer "you havent messed anything up, if you wanted to kiss me then why didnt you?" She asked confusion seeping into her voice.

Luke was silent but then he turned around, tear stains on his face.

Julie took another step closer so now she was face to face with luke.

She wiped away the remaining tears on his face as she waited for him to talk.

"I've....I've never kissed anyone before" luke whispered looking down in shame.

Julies eyes widened both in shock and realisation.

A soft smile played on her lips as she lifted Luke's face to look at her.

She didnt say anything but she did smash her lips to his.

He didnt kiss back due to shock but when he realised what was going on he kissed back with as much passion as she was giving.

Suddenly Julie pulled away but not completely, resting her forehead on his.

They were both smiling like maniacs.

"It doesn't matter that you've never kissed anyone before, because your a natural and I'm happy to be your first" whispered Julie not wanting to break the moment.

Luke kissed her again but this time it was shorter than the other.

When they pulled away Luke whispered "are we a cliche couple?" He asked.

Julie thought for a moment before smiling and shaking her head.

"Nah" she replied.

Luke chuckled before looking at her with all the love in the world

"I love you Jules"

"I love you too Patterson"
