Juke takes reggie to a carnival

"Come on, come on, come on, hurry up!" Whines reggie as excitedly he drags both Julie and Luke along.

"We're hurrying Reg, dont worry" Julie giggled at her friends, basically brothers, excitement.

"I'm so excited! I wanna see the animals!" Squeals reggie once again

Reggie had wanted to go to the carnival that had arrived in town, Alex hadnt wanted to come, claiming that crowds of big people gave him anxiety, so that left Julie and Luke to take reggie instead.

"I feel like we are babysitting a kid" groaned luke quietly to Julie.

Julie rolled her eyes, "oh shush, you know your just as excited as him, dont deny it" she said and kissed his cheek.

Luke grumbled but didnt say anything else.

"Ok reg, slow down hun, we have all day so we dont need to rush" said Julie softly as she pulled reggie to a stop.

Reggie stopped and turned to face the couple biting his lip.

"Sorry, I used to love carnivals as a kid, I havent been to one since I was like 7, after that my parents started fighting so we never went again" reggie looked down at the floor.

Luke frowned, lifting reggies head "its alright Reg, it's a carnival who isnt excited? We can go see the animals and we are going to have a great time, ok?" Luke smiled when reggies excitement came back.

"Your amazing, you know that?" Grinned Julie, pecking Luke on the lips when reggie hurried off excitedly again.

"Not as amazing as you though" smiled luke kissing Julie again.

Suddenly they were interrupted by reggie who was waiting ahead by the entrance of the carnival.

"Guys! Stop making out, I dont want to be a third wheel today! Hurry up! They have rabbits!" Shouted Reggie making everyone stare.

The pair blushed but started fast walking to where reggie was standing.

"Sorry, Reg, now let's have some fun!" Smiled Julie, now being the one to drag the boys along.

The group had been on a few rides and were now going to get cotton candy.

That turned out to be a mistake as reggie got it everywhere making him very sticky and julie....well Julie got very hyper.

"Lukey, lukey lukey! Look donkeys! I wanna go on the donkeys!" Said Julie bouncing up and down with a big grin on her face.

"Ooo me too, can we go on the donkeys luke? Pleaseeee!" Asked reggie joining julies bouncing.

Reggie wasnt hyper from the cotton candy, he was just naturally energetic.

"Uh, I dont know, you'll have to ask the guy what the age limit is" said Luke who was definitely dreading getting candy floss as he was now in charge of two very hyper teenagers.

Julie gasped "let's go ask!" She took reggie hand and the pair of them ran towards the donkeys.

Luke was forced to run after them, making sure they didnt get into any trouble.

As adorable as the pair of them were, especially Julie, when they were childlike, he wasnt sure if it was a good thing when they were at a carnival.

When he caught up to Julie and reggie they were arguing with the guy in charge of the donkeys.

"Well we think it's unfair that you wont let us on the donkeys! I want to speak to someone else" said Julie frowning just as Luke arrived.

"Ma'am I'm sorry, but you have to be 10 years or below to ride the donkeys" said the guy, visibly getting frustrated.

"You know what-" started reggie but luke interrupted before they got thrown out.

"I'm so sorry sir, they're on bit of a sugar rush right now" said luke taking both Reggie and Juliees hands, tugging them both away.

The man in charge simply nodded and went back to his job.

"Its not fair" pouted Julie

"Yeah, we should be allowed on those donkeys too, I'm going to give him a piece off my mind" glared reggie as he started to walk the other way but luke grabbed his arm before he could get anywhere.

"No your not, I think you've both done enough of that already" chuckled luke before continuing

"look I'm going to get you guys some water so you can calm down, you stay here" said luke as he left them by a trash can to go get some water from a nearby drinks stand.

They stood for a few seconds before they got bored. "Hey reg, let's go get more cotton candy" grinned julie.

Reggie agreed, why would you say no to sugar? And the two made their way to the cotton candy stand.

When luke had got the water he turned back towards the trash can he left them at to find they were gone.

Luke groaned, now where had they gone?

He set off on his search to find his girlfriend and his best friend.

It took him around 20 minutes to find the two, he eventually found them on a bench, eating cotton candy surrounded by prizes they must have won off a games stand. Reggie even had a fish.

"Hi lukey" Said Julie excitedly when she saw him approaching them.

"Look luke! I have a fish" grinned reggie proudly.

Luke smiled softly at them, despite his annoyance, he deny they were like two adorable children, and he loved children.

"Hey baby, hey reg" he greeted as he sat between them, moving a few of the prizes.

He took the cotton candy away from them both and threw it in the trash, ignoring their cries of protest.

"That's enough sugar for today, it's time to go home now anyway" said Luke softly, kissing Julie on the forehead softly.

"I'm tired" yawned Reggie.

Julie was not however, still hyper from the sugar she had consumed.

"I dont wanna go" pouted Julie but when luke took her hand and promised they could write songs at home, she agreed.

It took around half hour to get home, normally it's a 15 minute walk but Julie fell asleep on his back and Reggie was leaning tiredly against him which slowed him down.

He took them into the studio, not having the energy to take them both upstairs.

Alex was sitting on the sofa but moved as soon as he saw how tired Reggie was and how Julie was sleeping.

"Have fun?" Asked alex once luke had put Julie and reggie on the sofa.

"Well..." luke replayed the events that took place and when he was finished Alex laughed.

"Dude you gave Julie cotton candy? You know that she always gets very hyper after eating it" smirked Alex.

"I know but I forgot, anyways I'm done for the night, all the running around has me exhausted" yawned luke.

"Honestly same, I spent the day running around town with Willie" alex also yawned.

The boys joined reggie and julie on the sofa, Alex bringing a blanket to cover them.

Luke placed himself beside Julie laying down and pulling her to his chest, to which she cuddled into immediately.

Alex layed down beside reggie but turned away from him (even if he would wake up to find reggie half on top of him)

(Julie and reggie are in the middle with luke and alex on the ends)

"Night alex" yawned luke dropping off to sleep.

"Night Luke" mumbled alex a few seconds away from being unconscious.

Lesson learned never give Julie cotton candy
