So I was watching glee, and they were performing their dance yanno like always and I suddenly thought this would be good.

"Hey Jules I have an awesome idea!" Shouts flynn as she comes bouncing in the garage/studio interrupting the bands rehearsal

"Hi Flynn!" Waves reggie excitedly

"Hey, what's your idea?" Asks Julie standing up from her piano and sitting on Luke's couch.

"I'm going to tell you now, alex, Luke, reggie, go sit over there where I dont have to do a 360 to talk to you all." Directs flynn pointing over towards the couch.

Luke sits next to Julie on his couch while reggie and Alex sit on the arms of the couch.

"Ok so you know how you have that gig next week? Well I thought you could add perfect harmony to the set and Julie and Luke could do some choreography to the song! It would be adorable!" Flynn announces her idea.

Reggie and Alex immediately agree with the idea but Julie and Luke take some convincing.

"Uhh I dont know flynn, let's just say I'm not the best dancer" Luke winces rubbing the back of his neck.

"Yeah and who would play the other instruments when we are dancing?" Asks Julie.

"Well reggie can play a bit of piano and we dont need any other intruments" replies Flynn.

With a cautious look towards each other luke and Julie finally agree.

~the next day~

Flynn had rented out a dance studio so Luke and Julie could rehearse.

There would be a private dance instructor teaching them the dance, Flynn was coming to make sure it was perfect and Alex and reggie just wanted to watch Luke make a fool of himself.

Julie was wearing high waisted purple sports leggings and I matching sports bra with a high ponytail and luke could not stop staring

"Luke! Stop staring at your girlfriend and stretch!" Shouted Flynn from across the room.

Luke and julie were in the middle of the room, stretching and warming up whole the others were at the front of the room sitting on the floor, preparing for entertainment.

Julie looked beside her to luke who was indeed staring.

Smirking, Julie said "like something you see Luke?"

"I- you just- it should be criminal to look that hot while stretching!" Luke whined.

Julie laughed hitting him on the back of the head "focus"

Luke frowned but went back to stretching.

A few minutes later a lady and a man came in the room.

"Hello there, my name in camille and this is David, we will be teaching you a dance that we have prepared for your song perfect harmony." Introduced the women, now known as Camille.

"Hi Camille, I'm Julie and this is Luke, we are the ones your teaching the dance too" Julie greeted.

"Ok first things first! Do either of you know how to dance?" Asked David, the other dance instructor.

"I've done some dance class at school" smiled Julie whereas luke frowned.

"Uh, I took one class of Jazz when I was 4 if that counts?" Said Luke sheepishly.

Camille and David shook their heads but had smiles on their face.

"No, but that's fine, we can work with this"

It had been 15 minutes since Camille and David came and they had shown Julie and Luke what the full dance would look like, and went through the first part of the dance step by step.

"Ok now you two try what we just showed you." Said david.

Alex had gotten his phone out to video this, he was definitely going to post it on their insta page.

The two went to opposite ends of the room waiting for the music to start.

'Step into my world'

Luke stepped forward, his eyes solely on Julie like he had been told to do.

'Bitter sweet love story bout a girl'

He continued walking forward till he got to where Julie was standing.

'Shook me to the core, voice like an angel, I've never heard before'

The two past their hands through each other

'Here infront of me'

Julie made it look like electricity was going through her body. She grabbed Luke's hands, leant back and pulled her body back up against his and reached her arm out, while luke reached out to grab her hand.

The next line came 'shining so much brighter than i have ever seen'

But when Julie turned around, Luke panicked, forgetting what was next and turned around the other way do that they were back to back, a confused look on his face.

Alex and reggie burst out laughing at the look on his face.

Camille stopped the music.

Julie turned around fighting a laugh.

"What happened?" Asked Julie.

"I kinda forgot what came next and just copied you" he rubbing the back of his neck .

Julie giggled, "you grab my hands and we do this butterfly motion remember?"

Luke nodded, now remembering.

"Lets go from the top!" Said David pressing play on the music when they were back in position.

They did the dance again, this time making it to when they face each other, swinging their arms.

"I just cant, I dont know why but the concentration on your face is making me laugh" said Julie from the ground where she was in the middle of a laughing fit.

Luke huffed, crossing his arms "it's not that funny" he frowned.

But julie disagreed completely falling into another fit of laughs remembering his face.

Flynn sighed walking up to Julie, dragging her to a standing position "stop laughing, we have to perfect this dance, if you mess it up, it will ruin everything" said Flynn strictly.

"Chill, Its a learning process, we are going to perfect this dance dont worry" said Julie finally calming down.

"Good, now from the top again!" Flynn walked back to the boys.

They went through the dance again, perfecting it up to where Julie leans against Luke and he dips her.

"Ok good! That was perfect! Now we are going to show you the next part!" Instructed Camille, showing the pair what came next.

Once camile and david had slowly gone through the next part, it was Julie's and Luke's turn.

They went from where luke dipped her and pulled her back up.

Julie pushed Luke back like the dance instructed and Luke started to do his solo part.

"Uh yeah, no this ain't gonna work" said Luke as he fell flat on his face.

By now reggie and alex were full on belly laughing while flynn was trying to hide her laugh and Julie was giggling.

David walked over to luke "ok I will go through this part with you, Camille and Julie will keep working on the choreo"

While the girls worked on a different part of the dance the boys were working on Luke's solo.

"Ok so you lean on one- no on one hand-yeah like that and then go into a role on the floor" said david as luke was following his instructions.

"Yeah like that, and then your on your knees, and we are back to the star thing where your twirling with your arms out like a star- yeah you got it and then you do two off those and then you go on one knee, like your proposing to Julie, and put your hand out for her to take"

After a couple of times going through Lukes solo, he finally got it.

Camille and Julie came over from where they had been going over the choreo again.

"We all good?" Asked Camille

"Ye"

Julie and Luke ran through the dance from the top, luke did his solo correctly, but then came the last challenge in the dance....the lift.

"Ok Luke you wanna grab Julie from Just under the butt, but obviously not touching it, and your gonna lift her up." Explained Camille.

Blushing, the pair followed the instructions but luke stumbled, almost dropping Julie.

"Luke, you drop me and I will not refrain from using violence!" Shouted Julie.

"Hey I almost dropped you," defended Luke.

"I dont care, I dont want to end up in hospital by the end of this dance!" Julie glared making Luke gulp.

"Ok! Let's try that again" said Camille interrupting.

They did the lift again and this time, luke didnt drop Julie which was good.

"Julie you need to arch you back, luke look up at her, like you adore her" advised David

After a couple of times the two finally got the lift perfected.

They went through the dance once more then decided to call it a day.

"We will be practicing every day till the day before the gig, got that!" Said Flynn strictly.

"every day?" Luke whined but quickly shut up when flynn glared at him.

~the day of the gig~

Julie and the boys were gathered in Julie's dressing room. They had been practicing non-stop both the dance and their set list and it was safe to say they were ready, but it didnt stop the nerves.

"You guys are going to be great, stop worrying" said Reggie watching the pair pace, it was honestly like a runway show.

"I'm sorry Reginald, are you the one dancing infront of loads of people?" Glared luke.

Julie placed a hand on Luke's forearm calming him "what luke means to say is that, it's a bit nerve wracking dancing instead of playing an instrument"

Alex stood up infront of them both, placing a hand on each of their shoulders (tell me why Hand auto corrected to gun?)

"You have performed this dance a million times, theres no need to worry. Let's just worry about the songs before it first"

Suddenly a crew member knocked on the door informing them it was time to go on.

After taking deep breaths the band made their way to the stage, starting off their show with their opening song 'bright'

The show was a success, the songs got everyone hyped and when it was finally time for perfect harmony, the crowd thought it was adorable, they performed the dance without any difficulties.

"Flynn, I am never dancing again so dont even think about it" grumpled luke after the show, dropping onto a couch, pulling Julie with him, cuddling into her.

"Aww and here I was thinking of making you do it for every show." Teased Flynn.

"Dont even think about it" glared Julie.

Alex had posted the videos of Juke rehearsing the dance for Perfect harmony and everyone thought it was hilarious.
