Julie's normally a very calm and patient person as long as the boys dont do anything stupid, which is why luke gets a bit scared and concerned when Julie snaps at him after he asked what YouTube was.

"Hey jules what's yootub?" Asked luke coming into Julie's room without knocking once again.

"How many times do I have to tell you to knock luke! And its youtube not Yootub, if you cant get the name right then dont ask!" Snaps Julie scowling.

Her answers startles luke "oh..uh- I'm sorry- I..I didnt mean to- uh..I'm gonna go" he stutters.

Julie sighs "I'm sorry Luke I didnt mean it! It's just not a great week!" She calls out stopping him from leaving.

Luke, never able able to be mad at Julie forgives her immediately.

"What's so bad about this week then?" He asks coming to sit next to her on her bed.

Julie has to take a deep breath to stop herself from snapping again and saying "well it's the worst flipping week a woman can have, it's when theres a waterfall of Blood."

Instead she says "uh, it's nothing really, it's just....try not to get on my nerves this week"

Luke frowns, not happy by the cryptic answer but let's it go.

Now you might be wondering 'Julie, why dont you just tell the boys what's going on?' And she could but....she doesn't want to freak luke out and have him end up avoiding her the entire week, reggies a puppy and she doesn't want to traumatise him for life and Alex would probably understand but it wouldnt be fair to only tell him and not the other 2 so she decides to keep it to herself.

Suddenly julie gets a shooting pain 'frig you cramps, tryna expose me' Julie thinks grumpily.

"Hey jules you ok? Why are you clutching your stomach?" Asks Luke seeing Julie trying to lesson the pain without being obvious

"Oh I uh...I just feel a bit sick? Is it alright if I get some sleep?" Replies Julie making up an excuse to get him out of the room.

Luke nods and proceeds to tuck her into bed placing a kiss on her forehead

"Sleep well Jules" he murmurs gently before leaving the room.

Despite the shooting pain coming from her uterus, Julie smiles through the pain thinking off the soft touch of Luke's lips against her forehead.

The next day, the band are in the studio practicing when Luke calls another break seeing how Julie ain't giving it her all like she usually is.

"Hey Jules what's up with you? You've been acting weird and you aren't giving it your all like you usually would" surprisingly Alex is the one who calls her out on it.

Julie turns glaring at him "I'm fine Alex, leave me alone and it's only practice I dont need to give it my all. Now I'm getting chocolate, I will be back"

When Julie leaves the room reggie speaks up.

"Dang what's up with miss bossy pants over there?"

Luke glares at reggie feeling the need to defend his not-crush.

"Shes just having a bad week, leave her alone"

"Yeah but you gotta admit shes acting different, shes eating more than she usually does, and it isnt healthy stuff either, I thought she was doing some healthy diet with Flynn?" Says alex but before Luke has the chance to respond Julie's comes back in with a bar of chocolate.

"Are we done because I want to go watch romantic movies" julie whines.

The boys share a look but decide not to question her.

"Yeah I think we are done for the day" says Luke.

Julie smiles "yes!! Can you guys watch movies with me?" She asks with pleading eyes.

Reggie, finding it adorable answers for everyone before they get a chance to decide (they were going to say yes anyway)

"Aww, of course Jules, come sit down what do you want to watch?" He says sitting down on the sofa patting the spot next to him.

Julie bounces over to him taking a seat next to him and cuddles into his side.

Luke takes a seat next to Julie (no he was not jealous and hoping Julie would cuddle into him instead) and Alex sits next to luke.

Julie eventually decides to put on 'to all the boys I loved'

Half way through the movie Julie had ended up shifting so he head was on Luke's lap and her feet on Reggies lap. Luke was running his hand through her hair while she cried at the movie playing infront of her.

"Jules, it's ok. Theres no need to cry" says alex attempting to comfort her. Literally the worst thing to say to a girl when shes crying)

Julie continues sobbing "its not ok because now that video has been sent around the whole school and Lara Jean isnt ok. She deserves better"

Let's just say the movie is a rollercoaster of emotions in which Julie ends up crying again when they get together.

Later that night Luke steals Julie's laptop when shes sleeping to look up what's wrong with Julie because the guys are right, shes not acting herself.

He types her symptoms into google

' mood swings, eating a lot of chocolate, clutching stomach, unusually cuddly'

Google being google comes up with a lot of responses, most of which saying Julie is dying which sends luke into a panic frenzy.

Still freaking out luke poofs up to Julie's room and proceeds to wake her up.

"Julie! Wake up Julie! Do you want to die because Its not as fun as it looks?!?! You have to go see a doctor!" Says luke while he shakes the bed to wake her.

Groaning julie wakes up, rubbing her eyes to clear her eyesight.

"Luke? You better have a good reason for waking me up at 1am!" Julie's voice switches from confusion to anger.

"Your dying Julie!" Luke whisper shouts.

Julie twist her face in confusion

"What are you going on about???" She asks holding her head in her hands. It was to late/early for this.

"That's why you have been acting strange, having mood swings and eating chocolate a lot and being very cuddly and not putting enough energy into rehersal! I googled it" he explains frantically.

The genuine worry in his voice makes her laugh.

"luke you idiot" Julie facepalmes.

Now it was Luke's turn to be confused.

"Huh? Julie we have to get you to a doctor"

"Luke I'm not dying! I'm on my period, stupid" Julie cant help but laugh again.

Luke's face morphs into relief to hear she wasnt dying but quickly changed into confusion again.

"What's a period?" He asks.

Julie sighed and moved over, patting the free space beside her for Luke to climb into bed with her, to which he did.

"Well... a period is when, the uterus spends 9 months preparing for a baby, so it creates this comfy space for it to stay. " she starts explaining, feeling very much like a teacher in a class teaching a bunch of 12 year olds about menstruation, the whole time Luke looked very interested.

She internally sniggered, that was about to change in a minute.

" but when the baby doesn't come, the uterus gets angry and the space for the baby breaks down, making all the blood that was building it exit through a woman's you know...uh..private part and there are side effects such as cramps and mood swings, and eating a lot etc... "

When she finished explaining, Luke looks disgusted, angry and sorry.

"Well the uterus is mean, it shouldn't put you through all that just because you didnt want a baby yet" he crosses his arms an angry pout on his face.

Julie chuckles, "that's just life"

Julie looks at the alarm clock beside her bed and yawns.

"Ok well it's still late and I'm tired so I'm going back to sleep" she says getting comfy again.

"Oh ok, I will just leave then" as luke starts to get out of bed Julie's arm shoots out and grabs his wrist.

"Wait no! I uh- stay? Please?" Julie asks pulling out the puppy dog eyes.

Luke looks hesitant, but then remembers hes a ghost who cant be seen so agrees, getting into bed with her.

Julie curls herself around him, resting her head in his chest and quickly falls asleep, luke following not long after.

The next day Luke cancels practice which confused both alex and reggie because luke never, never cancels practice.

"Dude, thats so unlike you, what's going on?" Asks alex after Luke's tells them.

Luke rubs his neck trying to come up with an excuse without telling the boys the real reason because julie hadn't wanted them to know.

"Just, Julie said that she was super busy this week and wouldnt have time...so I uh, I thought why bother practicing if our lead singer wasnt there"

Reggie buys the excuse, letting it go, alex...he needed more convincing.

"Alex, I promise I'm not lying, you can even ask her yourself" says Luke rolling his eyes

"I cant, I have a date with willie that I'm going to be late for so... I will let it go for now" alex sighs and poofs out.

Before heading back up to Julie's room to take care of her (he had put her on bedrest) he grabbed a few items first.

He read up online that, hot water bottles helped girls with the cramps, he also got some painkillers and a few movies with popcorn and pretzels and headed upstairs to Julie.

Julie was in bed, cuddled up the luke with a hot water bottle pressed up against her lower stomach.

"I hate whoever decided 'oh you know what, let's have women carry kids and let their uterus abuse them when they dont have kids'" julie groaned, her face in Luke's chest.

Luke was playing with Julie's hair "I know Jules, and if I could, I would switch positions with you so that i was in pain and not you" he spoke calmly.

Jukie huffed "then all you have to do is become a seahorse"

Luke chuckled "I'm afraid I dont know any wizards who can turn us into seahorses"

"Well find someone on google" she groaned, squeezing his arm really hard as another cramp hit her.

"Wizards dont exist Jules" said Luke.

Julie immediately pulled away from him, tears running down her face.

"They do! In books they do! And in my mind so dont say that!"

Luke's eyes widened not meaning to make her cry.

"Sorry jules, of course they exist in the books, I didnt mean it. Forgive me?"

Julie smiled accepting the apology before throwing herself back into his arms, going into her previous position.

The next day, luke had done the same as the previous day and stayed in Julie's room taking care of her.

They were in the middle of watching Brave when Two more ghosts poofed in startling the both of them.

"Oh yeah, you look real busy, cuddled in bed watching movies without us" said Alex bitterly crossing his arms.

Reggie gasped then whispered "ohh, is this a date?"

Luke and Julie blushed, instantly moving away from each other.

"What no! Course not!" Said Julie still blushing furiously.

"Oh" reggie frowned "then what are you doing?"

Julie sighed, decided to tell them, she had to go through the same thing next month anyway, eventually they were going to do the same thing as luke and google it.

"I'm on my period, thats why I was acting so strange"

"Why does luke know before us?" Alex Frowned offended that Julie hadn't told him.

Julie smirked a little, humoured by the answer.

"Because luke woke me up at 1am becahse he thought I was dying"

Luke frowned crossing his arms defensively as everyone dissolved into fits of laughter

"In my defence, google is very overdramatic"

Once everyone had calmed down Reggie spoke up.

"I have a question tho"

Everyone turned their heads to him, waiting for his question.

"What's a period?" He asked.

Alex facepalmed, while Luke went to tell him but Julie stopped his, hitting him on the head

"Dont you dare, he will be traumatised" she scolded him, then winced because of a cramp.

"I will explain when your older reg" said Julie smiling softly at the pure child.
