Continuing from last time

Later that night, when julie finally got home from detention, she went straight to her room and did her homework

Julie got home after detention, she had to explain to her dad why she was in detention and that mr Jeffery had it out for all students.

Her dad let her off the hook just this once so she went straight to her room and called flynn.

"Hey girl" Flynn answered the phone.

"Flynn I'm panicking, what do I wear for the date tomorrow?" Said julie as soon as Flynn picked up the phone

"Well, its luke so he probably wont do anything fancy, maybe play it safe and go casual" suggested Flynn.

"But what if I'm totally under dressed or not in the right attire?" Ressponded julie trying not to have another panic attack

"You could always just text him and ask-" said flynn but was answered by Julie yelling

"Are you out of your mind?!?!? I cant ask him! That would make me look desperate and stupid"

"B..but your literally asking what to wear???" Flynn was beyond confused but she guessed she would get it when she found someone liked.

"Flynn, I'm not asking Luke what to wear" said Julie stubbornly

"Well either go casual and panic all night or ask him" said Flynn smirking knowing Julie was out of options.

Julie sighed "alright, call you tomorrow, you have to come over and help me get ready"

"Duh, cya" flynn said goodbye before hanging up the phone.

Julie groaned into her hands.

Why was she even panicking about this? She was simply doing this because it was the only way to get luke to stop tickling her.

No other reason

Yeah, whatever helps you sleep at night said the voice in her mind which Julie often ignored, tonight was no exception.

Julie sat down on her bed, getting out her math homework and started trying to complete the questions

Ughh why was this so hard??? She was brilliant at math so why couldnt she concentrate tonight??

She knew why. A certain shaggy haired boy who wore that confident smirk all the time was occupying her thoughts.

Julie put down her pen and put her homework aside, instead picking up her phone.

She had decided to text luke and ask where they were going so she could pick out what to wear.

: hey luke, mind telling me where we are going tomorrow so I know what to wear?

Julie tossed her phone in her hand as she waited for a response.

: no can do sorry, it's a surprise 😉 but wear something casual.

Julie stared down at her phone an unamused expression resting on her face.

She went through all that stress only for luke to tell her the exact same thing as flynn????.

ok 👌

Julie put her phone down, now that she didnt have to stress over her outfit, she could finally work on someone homework.

The next morning Julie woke up smiling and excited.

She had her date with Luke today.

Woah why was she excited about this? Shes just holding up her end of the deal.

Julie groaned into her pillow

Who was she kidding? She totally had feelings for this boy.

Julie got out of bed and made her way downstairs where he father was making pancakes.

"Woah, slow down there, what are you so excited for? And why are you up this early on a saturday?" Her father asked as she raced into the kitchen, a giant grin plastered on her face.

"Morning papi" Julie kissed her father on the cheek

"I um- I actually have a date today" Julie's voice faltered unsure of how her father would react.

Ray looked up from where he was making pancakes and took a deep breath.

"A date?" Said ray

Julie bit her lip nervously nodding.

"Yeah, is uh- is that ok?" Asked Julie.

A smile broke out on Ray's face as he nodded

"Yeah thats alright, I know Rose would want me to be excited for this moment since she isnt here, so I'm going to be excited for you but that doesn't mean I'm not watching him" Said ray pointing his spatula out at Julie.

Julie giggled "thankyou papi"

Suddenly Flynn barged into the Molina household.

"Oh hey Flynn would you like some-" ray was cut off by said girl.

"Sorry ray, no time for eating my girl has a date to get ready for" said Flynn as she grabbed Julie's wrist and started dragging her upstairs.

"Wha- but pancakes!" Julie's protest went ignored.

As soon as the girls got to Julie's room, flynn threw Julie on the bed and immediately went to her closet to pick out an outfit.

"He said causal right?" Asked Flynn.

Julie nodded.

They had decided to let her natural curls flow and had some natural makeup, with some lipgloss.

2 hours later Julie was finally date ready and it was 1:30pm. Time for Luke to pick Julie up.

Suddenly the doorbell rang.

"Flynn I'm nervous, I've never gone on a date before what if I mess it up?" Julie panicked.

"Girl, all you gotta do is be yourself" flynn reassured her.

"Now go, your man is waiting" Flynn pushed Julie in the direction of the door.

Julie giggled and made her way downstairs where her father was talking to Luke.

"Hey" julie greeted with a smile.

When luke turned to look at Julie he was speechless.

"Wow, you look gorgeous" luke smiled at her giving her a single rose.

Julie giggled at the compliment thanking him and taking the rose.

Luke was in his usual attire. His black Jeans, a white shirt with a leather jacket.

"Have her back by 9 luke" ray clapped the boy on his back.

"I will Mr Molina dont worry" reassured Luke and look Julie's hand leading her out the door.

"So can I know where we are going yet?" Asked Julie.

Luke simply smirked and shook his head no.

"Be patient" he chuckled when she pouted.

They stopped by a motorcycle that was parked down the street.

"I have to get on this???" Julie almost screeched.

Luke nodded.

"Dont worry, you'll be fine, I've got stones of experience riding this thing" said luke gently taking her face in his hands.

Julir bit her lip nervously "but, what if I fall off?"

"Hey, trust me. I wont let you fall of ok? Promise" luke kissed her cheek.

Julie nodded ok. "Fine but if I end up in hospital, I'm holding you responsible."

Luke laughed "you wont, stop worrying"

Luke handed Julie a helmet before getting on the bike. Julie got on after him wrapping her arms around his torso tightly.

20 minutes later, they arrived to a theme park.

Julie gasped in excitement, she loves theme parks.

"Oh my god luke, look, it's a theme park!" Julie jumped up and down excitedly.

Luke chuckles at her cuteness "I know baby, I brung you here remember"

The nickname was new but julie found she liked it. She smiled up at him and stuck her tongue out.

"Race you" she shouted before running towards the entrance.

"Hey!" Luke shouted before running after her, eventually catching up to her.

He wrapped his arms around her waist and picked her up, swinging her around in circles as her joyful laughs filled the air.

"We havent even entered the theme park yet and your already challenging me huh?" Said luke as he put Julie down on the ground.

Julie smiled smugly ",yup, and I'm going to win every game I challenge you in"

"Yeah we will see about that" said luke as he grabbed Julie's hand and entered the gates of the theme park.

They had been on loads of rides, played some games and had eaten loads of cotton candy and giant pretzels.

Julie giggled as she pulled luke along behind her

Luke admired the girl as she walked. He found his new favourite sight was seeing Julies smile.

Julie gasped as she saw something.

"We have to go on the big wheel! Pleaseee" julie begged Pointing to the big wheel that stood out above everything.

It was 7pm so it was quite dark, and the colourful lights had been turned on on all of the rides making the theme park look beautiful.

"Course gorgeous" said luke smiling as they, hand in hand, made their way to the bug wheel

They managed to get on after 10 minutes of waiting in line.

As they got to the top julie was in awe of the view.

"Its so beautiful" she whispered.

Suddenly the ride stopped and a voice spoke over the speakers.

"Sorry ladies and gentlemen, we have a technical problem that will be fixed shortly"

"Guess we are stuck up here" luke shrugged.

"Its just like in the movies and the books!" Julie grinned.

Luke looked at her in confusion

"The main characters always go on a date to the theme park and get stuck on the big wheel at the top" julie explained.

Luke cringed "ew, that's cheesy"

Julie laughed "its romantic" she protested.

Luke shook his head but didnt say no more as a peaceful silence took over

"Jules?" Luke got the girls attention after a few minutes of silence has passed

"Yeah?" She asked.

"Theres something I've been wanting to do all night" said luke takin a step closer to Julie

Julie smiled "then go ahead and do it"

And with that Luke swooped down and captured her lips in his own.

The kiss was sweet put passionate. Julie had decided she loved the feeling of his lips on her own.

"Jules?" Luke got her attention again. as they pulled apart.

"Yeah?" Julie asked smiling up at him

"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asked.

Julie responded by capturing his rough lips once again In her own pulling apart after a few seconds.

"Course I will" she smiled.

Suddenly the ride started working again, stopped every few seconds to let people off.

The new couple made their way off the ride with the biggest grins ever.

"You wanna come see my band play at a gig tomorrow?" He asked her.

"I would love too, is there a party afterwards?" She asked.

Luke rubbed the back of his neck "yeah. Is it alright if we go?" He asked nervously

Julie nodded hesitantly "yeah, I dont want my whole highschool experience to be boring. A few parties wouldn't hurt."

Luke nodded "ok, and if you ever want to leave just let me know and we will ok?" He said kissing her cheek.

"Ok"

They had made their way back to the motorcycle, ready to head home.

Luke handed Julie a helmet and got on, her behind him, wrapping her arms around his torso but slightly looser than before. (She wasnt cutting off his air supply this time)

Luke took Julie home, kissing her goodbye and promised to see her tomorrow then made his way home.

I think this girl might be one of the best thing to ever happen to me. Luke thought.
