《"Partners"- Jin ff ✓》21

I picked Jungkook up. I could barely do it because his body is to heavy even for himself so I was bearing all of his weight.
I could even take myself out cause I'm so weak from all the beating and no food, but I need to try.
We were almost getting to the door when someone opened it. There was a man. He was clearly surprised that I was untied and I was getting out with Jungkook. He was so close to me, that as a reflex I just closed my eyes and waited to be hit. But when I heard a noise of someone being hit and falling on the ground, it wasn't me.
I looked up and there was Jin. The man was on the ground, but my eyes were glued to Jin. He came after all.
"Y/N"- my name escaped his mouth as his eyes grew big. Relieve was clear in his eyes.
Then another bang was heard as it interrupted our moment.
"Can you take these handcuffs off of me now?"- a tall guy said behind Jin. I have never seen him before, but he had knocked a man down before he could hit Jin.
"We need to go"- I said in a rush so we just stop killing time.
"Namjoon, carry Jungkook. Y/N is too weak for that"- Jin said and the guy who I didn't know did what he said. Off course Jin took his handcuffs off.
We were in a rush to leave that place as Jin is helping to run since it's hard for me after 3 days of fasting and beating.
Many men came in our way. Jin and Namjoon delt with them. I threw a punch or two.
We finally get to the main door to actually leave this place that looks way to close to hell, but that was when 12 or 14 men suddenly surrounded us. We didn't know what to do, but a fight started.

Again, I tried my best. I picked a iron pipe that was randomly on the ground since this is an old factory of those materials. I hit as many men as I could to help them. Someone hit me in the stomach and I immediately fell down. The man was going to put a bullet through my brain...and a gunshot was heard..
I open my eyes and the man in front of me had been shot in the shoulder. He passed out and someone picked me up from behind. Jin...he shot the man from behind me and immediately put me in his back.
"C'mon, let's go home"- He said and we ran out of there.
I know this wasn't the moment but I couldn't help it to hold him tight as he carried me out. I lower my head on the back of his shoulder and I cried. It was a silent crying but it was hard. I thought I would never hold him or touch him again. I thought his smell would only remain in the memory of my spiritual self...when I was far gone from this world...yet...he saved me...even in what I thought it would be my last minutes, he was everything I thought...he was the ultimate image...him...
*************
We finally got home but I don't remember. I just know I fell asleep somewhere and Jungkook was by my side. His bruises were taken care of clearly.
I got up and went to the kitchen.
"Hey, wait, I made you some food, I'm going to heat it"- Jin said the moment he saw me walking.
He went to the fridge and didn't take anything out.
"Hum... Namjoon... where the hell is the food I made for her?? Do you know how weak she is?? She is-"

"Jin, you ate it yesterday..."
"Oh..."- Jin realized it was true. I couldn't help it but to smile.-"don't worry Y/N, I am going to cook you fresh food darling"- he said and again I smiled.
Namjoon and I talked for awhile sitting on the dinning table. He was telling me his story with Jin. When Namjoon went to check up on Jungkook, I took it as a chance to go to Jin.
I hugged him from behind and he stop cooking the egg rolls.
"You still feel embarrassed that I hug you like this?"- I said with my eyes closed as I'm resting my head on his back.
"Now... I feel relieved you are hugging me again..."- his tone turned serious.
"I'm sorry, I worried you...but I understood something along these three days... I was afraid you wouldn't save me...not because I was scared to die, but because I was scared you had abandoned me...like my parents did....but when they did it to me, I turned out ok, but I don't know how I would feel if you had done that to me...even when I thought I was going to die...you were the one that came to my mind...you were the one I called in my head..."- I poured my heart out to him.
He simply turned around and looked at me directly in the eyes. He put his hand on my face and caressed it gently.
"I will never abandon you... I will always fight for you...you are my most precious person..."
He then kissed me. He kissed me like it was his last time and like he was consumed by the feeling of missing me.

I hope you enjoy reading my book as I enjoy writing it! It’s a side project of mine and I can currently only write in my free time, which is not a lot unfortunately. I do not know how many chapters a week I will be able to produce, however, the word count will be around 6000-7000 per week. If you like the story you can support me on patreon and read chapters ahead of current release. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer: The story might not be for the faint hearted or for those seeking an over-powerd plot guarded golden cow of a mc. The story will start out slowly and will pick up a bit of pace later on on, however, the character/s will walk a long and full of despair road. No sugar-coating in this story. Another thing to have in mind is that I currently do not have a proofreader nor an editor, so some mistakes might slip through my fingers, if you notice any such, please do leave a comment so I can fix them for future readers. Do please enjoy the story and feel free to leave reviews and or comments, I am usually pretty open and would love to answer some of your questions!

Starchild
“It’s life’s illusions I recall. I really don’t know life at all.” from the song, Both Sides Now, by Joni Mitchell Starchild is an adventure novel set within an understanding of reality that is rooted in Eastern spiritual traditions. It takes as its starting point experiments in remote viewing that were genuinely undertaken by the American military in the nineteen-nineties under the name of the Stargate Project. It then imagines how a more advanced attempt to weaponise the capabilities of consciousness might have been developed in the present day.The story then explores how Ultimate Reality might respond to such a threat.Deep, elemental forces thus bring together Samantha Martin and Sahadeva Varma, old colleagues from the Stargate Project, to avert the apocalyptic consequences of this military attempt to weaponise consciousness. This fast-paced story spans genres including romance, action, adventure, science fiction and more. Although this story is based on concepts drawn from established spiritual traditions, these have sometimes been extrapolated to the point of very extreme speculation for the needs of an adventure story.Much of the underlying philosophy, however, as explained in the dharma talks given by Samantha Martin, is paraphrased from the guidance of respected spiritual teachers. Scheduling: Starchild is a previously unpublished novel of one hundred thousand words which was serialised in weekly instalments over twenty-five weeks from 15th November 2021 to the 29th April 2022. Each instalment contains five chapters – an average of approximately four thousand words in each instalment.
