Well today was shaping up to be a rather interesting day indeed. It was the day Azul got the Child. He had prepared in advance and had made sure to get a Crib in his room along with creating a space for them to stay in. Floyd had surprisingly stepped up in the helping category. It was almost as if the Eel-mer had a soft spot for Guppies.

Then again this was Floyd we were speaking of. He was a tad Strange over many things. Children being one on them. Azul could even remember when he had gotten his brother to help out Ortho just because they felt insulted that Idia did not find agree with them or Ortho. Jade was also rather Happy to have the Child be joining them. Azul smirked. It would be great for Business at the Mostro Lounge. It would give the Appearance of a Tender family run establishment.

Azul walked up to the office. Once inside Crowley smiled at them from his desk. In a playpen at the far side of his office was the child. They were called Yuu, Azul reminded himself. He after all had to know all the names of where at Night Raven College. He must make sure to keep on top of things.

The child in question Had a book on the ground they were looking at. Azul smirked. It was almost as if the child could read it. however that was Rather unlikely. They were hugging a little Pink bat and wearing A Little Lion onesie. Most likely a joke played but Leona's Hyena Ruggie. While Azul would rather not have to deal with him he did have to admit the child looked adorable in it. However they would need to be changed once they got to His own dorm. Lion's and Octavinelle did not go well.

"Oh, Mr. Ashengrotto, Right on time as I assumed. Yuu here had been having a hard day it seems. I just got them to settle not to long ago. I believe all the changing of places is upsetting them. They may act a tad Fussy with you when you place them to bed or attempt to give them their formula" Crowley stated. Azul nodded he had expected such. After all it was probably not going well for the Childs environment to chance so much as it has been.

"Do not worry HeadMage, I shale make sure they feel right at home in Octavinelle" Azul said with a bright smile before crouching down to the child. Yuu looked up at him with large eyes. They hugged their bat tightly and Azul gave them a soft smile. Just enough to give them a sense of Trust.

"Hello, I'm Azul. You'll be with me this week ok?" Act calmly and speak Directly to the child. This way the child knows you are attempting to be friends with them and do not see them as lesser then they are. Yuu nodded. Internally Azul was surprised. So they understood. Good that meant this week would go far easier then he had expected. Azul reached out and Carefully picked the them up. He held them to his chest as Crowley gathered up the baby bag before handing it to Azul.

"If they get overly upset Read them the Little Dragon book. It has helped greatly to calm them down during rather Bad outbursts" Crowley advised. Azul nodded never disregarding advice when give.

"Ofcourse, I will keep it in mind. Well we had best be off" Crowley nodded and Azul turned leaving the office until tomorrow when he would drop the child off the be watched by the Elder Mage. Outside the Office Jade was waiting. Yuu looked up at him with Wide eyes. most likely surprised at how tall he was. many were in fact. It was just part of being their species of mer. It left Azul feeling rather jealous that they were able to be so tall while he was only in the 5 foot range. however he still had a short time to grow. If he ate right and made sure to keep up with his Physical education he would be fine.

"They really are quite small" Jade commented. Azul nodded and handed jade the baby bag.

"yes, They are far smaller then I believed when they were first introduced." Jade smirked as they Quietly walked back to the dorm. There in the Lounge Floyd was working with the small fry employs keeping things in order. Atleast he seemed to be in a good mood today. Having to keep Two children inline would not go well. One was enough and at least this one seemed to keep to them self for the most part.

The Mostro Lounge was bustling as it always was for the first few weeks of the year. many new Students would get word of the Restaurant and come to check it out leaving the place packed. Later on when things started to calm down they would announce themed nights and music entertainment. Perhaps a Karaoke night if the feeling came. For right now however things were fine. Azul took Yuu into the VIP room and set them in the new Playpen that he had created for their stay. While they were not staying with them a Couch could be placed to hide it just fine.

"I have to do some Paper work for the Lounge. Are you alright by yourself? I will just be at the table here?" Azul motioned to the table next to the Pen. It had a couch he could sit on while he worked. Yuu nodded and hugged their bat. Azul noted the attachment to the little thing and made a point to remember for a later date. He sat at the table and worked. During the time jade came in and Delivered Tea along with helping to feed Yuu their formula for dinner.

As the night went on Azul would pick them up and do round around the Lounge. Not only did it make sure to remind new comers that this was a Neutral place where no fighting was allowed... Unless Azul stated otherwise of course. But it also would not do to allow a baby to be alone in that room. Anything could happen to them.

No it was best that Yuu stay with him for now. While no Magical outburst happened as of yet he would not risk it happening when the Child was unattended. He had already heard of Leona's little incident with it happening. Yuu however did not seem to like being out of the room. Choosing to hide in his chest and neck when ever someone new or Unfamiliar came over.

Floyd seemed to notice this and Plucked the child from Azul's arms even as he protested and lifted the baby up high above his head. he smiled brightly at Yuu and snickered.

"Why the long Face guppy? Ya not like all the attention? Come on give Uncle Floyd a smile" Yuu squeaked and babbled before giving a little giggle. Floyd smirked and pushed them lightly into the air before catching them. Yuu adored this and giggled loudly at the game. While Yuu did seem to be having difficulties adjusting to the new environment Azul noticed Floyd seemed to never be in a bad mood when it came to the child.

In Fact as the week Progressed Azul took note that the child might just be the ticket to fixing Floyd's mood issue. Jade noticed as well. If Floyd was having a bad mood day or just wasn't "Feeling it" As he would say. You would just hand him Yuu and Floyd's mood would take an immediate turn for the better.

This however did not help at night. Azul had placed the Crib in his room to make sure he could keep an eye on them. However the First three nights Azul would wake around 3 to 4 am to whimpering or even small crying. He would sit up and look into the corner where Yuu sniffed quietly.

This made him Thankful he was a light sleeper. He would get up and walk over picking them up and holding them. He would walk to the window and place his glasses on his face giving them a small smile. Showing them the deep sea around them. Azul found he could care less about the sea but it seemed to calm Yuu to watch the fish outside. He had learned this trick with many Freshman this last year. He much like Riddle had made HouseWarden his Freshman year after all.

One had to learn a trick or Two to make sure that everyone was Compliant and as much as he hated to admit to himself he wanted to make sure everyone was happy here in Octavinelle. It would not do for a Mutiny to happen among his Dorm. No he made sure to stay on the good side of everyone in his dorm to keep his Loyalty. And those he could not fool he would scare into staying loyal. That was where Jade and Floyd came in.

It was on such a night that Azul woke to a sniffling Yuu. He did as he had the Previous nights and walked over grabbing is Glasses on the way and picked them up. He walked to the window and showed them outside. Had he ever even asked the child what was wrong? Could that be why this kept happening? Azul looked down at Yuu who watched the fish pass quietly.

"Yuu... What is wrong?" Yuu looked at at Azul and Garbled something. Azul frowned.

"I'm afraid I didn't catch that" He stated. After all baby talk was not something he could Translate as he did in his Animal Speech class. Yuu looked at Azul and patted his chest.

"Me?" Yuu nodded. Very well he could play charades if it meant getting a decent night sleep. Yuu looked at him and then balled their fists and put them to their eyes and sniffed.

"Crying?" Yuu nodded again. Ok so something about Azul and Crying... Very well...

"Are you sad?" Yuu shook their head and patted Azul's chest again. Azul sighed.

'You believe... that I am sad?" Yuu nodded and patted Azuls chest again. Azul sat in his arm chair looking out into the sea from his window. A group of Fish swam by Gracefully.

"I am fine, You don't need to worry about me" Azul said trying to get the Little one to head back to sleep. However yuu would not and clung to him like a life line. Azul took a breath and leaned back rubbing the Infants back. They would be better in the morning. He knew that this raising a child thing would not be easy. Perhaps a lullaby would help. Azul rocked yuu in his arms. Singing a soft Lullaby his mother used to sing to him.

The next morning Azul groaned as he sat up in his chair. Wonderful he had fallen asleep with Yuu in his arms sitting up. That would not do well for his back today. He sighed and looked down. Yuu was sound asleep clutching his night shirt. Azul gave them a soft smile. They were rather cute... However this was about Business. He couldn't get attached otherwise the world would eat him alive just as it almost had so many years ago.

He set Yuu in his bed so he could get dressed. Jade came in soon after with a smile. It would be time fore Breakfast. Luckily the Lounge was only open for dinner. An hour after Classes let out. Sometimes Two on club days. Then it would stay open until 10pm week nights 11pm weekends.

"How are they" Jade asked picking up the still sleeping Yuu. Strange as they normally would wake by now. Perhaps last night had taken alot out of them.

'Fine, Seems 3am is the time they get up. Just as we were informed" Azul stated fixing his hair. Appearance was everything. If he did not look trustworthy then others would not trust him. It was how the world worked. Azul watched jade nod in the Mirror and hold the child in his arms. He felt his chest Tighten. They had an agreement to be partners. This did not mean Azul trusted Jade nor his Brother.

To see him holding a child left him Nervous. However he would never let it show. Walking over he walked past them. Jade following with Yuu and their Baby bag. They would need to eat, be burped, Changed, Dressed, and taken to the HeadMages office all before 6am. It was 5:15 right now meaning they had 45 Minutes to get this done. Floyd had his head on the counter pouting. He never wished to be up this early. It dampened his mood. However Jade handed him Yuu and he brightened up considerably. Bouncing the Child on his knee to help wake them up. Yuu leaned on his tiredly and yawned.

"Aww Guppy why so tired? Didn't ya sleep last night? Maybe you should sleep in Uncle Floyd and Uncle Jade's room tonight! ya?" Jade smirked and shook his head.

"You know as well as I Floyd, That our room has to many dangerous things to them to be in it" He stated as he warmed up the milk. Azul started Casting the Protection spells on the counters and walls. It would not due to have them damage anything in the Lounge. Floyd pouted but nodded. It was understandable. With Jade's strange Fascination with Fungi and Floyd's mess. Yuu could eat something they shouldn't or touch something and get hurt. No it was best Yuu stay with Azul during the week they were there.

Floyd feed Yuu and snickered when they would down the bottle. If allowed Yuu would most likely drink more however Azul learned they would get Cranky if they were to full and so a Bottle and a Half was what they would get. After words Jade took them to Burp them. If Floyd was allowed he might accidentally hit to hard and no one wanted that!

Burped with little bubbled coming out this time Azul smirked. Truly Fascinating. Something different every day. Just the other day it was Fire, Now Bubbled. This child just got more and more interesting. Azul had send out a request on finding more information on Yuu. The child was to Powerful to be from some Common Family. And they appeared to be fully human meaning they weren't Mer nor Fae nor Beastman.

What Azul had found however set his bones to Ice. Yuu was from a Commoner family. A Well known family for being None Magical. Infact they were Proud of that fact believing they were better then others as they had to work harder. Azul scuffed when he read this. As if that was something to Boast about. True many years ago it was the Exact opposite where in the world None Magical people far out weighted the Magical but now almost everyone was Magical.

From what he had found Yuu was abandoned in the woods of Beasts. A terrible place that many would not enter with out Proper Training. They had left their child to die there. To hide the fact that the Wife had Birthed a Magical child. What other magical children had this family done this to? What this a new things or was this common Practice. It left Azul sick when he found out.

There was a small Burp drawing Azul's attention back to Yuu who giggled at more bubbled coming from them. The bubbles shined and then turned into little light butterflies before fading away. Azul gave a smile to them before allowing Jade to get them dressed. If he showed to much interest the Twins would never let him live it down. So even though something in him told him not to allow the Twins near Yuu he did.

The week passed far to quickly for Azul. He would have liked to have them a month so he could learn as much about them as possible. However that was not the case. It was the day he had to return them to Crowley's office and then Scarabia would take over. He crafted a list for Scarabia to take into consideration. Making sure to note that they did not like being alone, Nor seemed to like Strong scents. He put this specifically as he knew Kalim liked strong and spiced flavored food. However it would cause Yuu to go into a sneezing attack and He would rather not hear that Scarabia had burned down. Although then the students would have to be put up somewhere and they did have extra rooms at Octavinelle... For a fee of course.

Azul walked up the stairs. Jade and Floyd having headed to the Cafeteria for their own Breakfasts. He looked down at the child that seemed to know it was time to leave Azul and hugged him. Azul rubbed their back and gave a small smile.

"It's not for forever yuu, Only 2 months. You can make it till then yes?" Yuu babbled and sniffed. Azul shook his head and took out a Handkerchief making Yuu blow their nose. They would get a sore throat if they continued to sniff like that. He walked them in to the HeadMages office and to Yuu's corner. It had more stuffed animals inside then when he had picked them up. Azul noted the little dragon, A green Pillow, A heart shaped Pillow, A lion stuffed animal. Honestly this little one was going to have the whole school wrapped around their little fingers at this rate.

Azul wondered how Scarabia's HouseWarden and Vice Warden would handle the little one. Kalim would surely get wrapped quickly. Jamil however was another story. He was a mystery just waiting to be unraveled Azul could just feel it.
