tw/cw mention of lack of food (no ed though!)
No one slept comfortably. Peter started at the ceiling for hours. Knowing Fury, he'd probably already be alerted as to what happened.
That kept him up at night.
Eventually, the sound of FRIDAY loudly speaking at 9 A.M. is enough to wake anyone up.
Peter tried to get up, but he quickly realized he forgot to take off his suit last night. Which sadly meant he slept in his binder.
Looking at it, he should get a new one. He's had it for over a year as it was a birthday gift from Ned and MJ. But now it was worn out. Not to mention right now, his chest ached to move.
Seeing as he never got a chance to eat yesterday, his super healing wouldn't be as quick today. So, against his better judgment, and the aching screams from his chest, Peter got up and walked into the living room.
To say he was nervous was an understatement. The moment Stephen and Tony had seen him in the suit, they had FRIDAY let everyone know he was home safe and to just go back to their homes. Some did but others wanted to make sure he was safe.
As he made it into the living room, he wasn't all that surprised to just see Stephen, assuming Tony needed the extra sleep.
"Morning!" Peter said with as much fake confidence as he could muster to conceal the fact that he's in pain. It took everything in him to even stay standing.
"Good morning Peter." Stephen put down his coffee and immediately sent Peter a death stare.
Peter noticed and stiffened before he softly laughed, "What's up?"
"Peter, I've been with your Dad and this team long enough to know when someone is in pain."
Peter tensed but eventually gave up as he realized there was no way of hiding it.
He was honestly starting to feel light headed. It might be the lack of food, or lack of proper oxygen intake, or presumably some blood lose from all the cuts and scratches he'd get from patrol. But it was getting hard to stay afloat.
Peter simply muttered a soft "sorry" before promptly passing out on the floor.
Peter soon woke up to the sound of a heart monitor and lots of wires. He quickly panicked until Bruce came up to him to calm him down.
"Hey, you're finally awake. How do you feel?"
"Dizzy but alright. What happened?"
"You fainted." Stephen spoke as he was reviewing what appears to be some charts.
"We didn't wanna do anything without your consent so, now that you're awake, would you mind if FRIDAY scans you for some injuries?" Stephen asked

Peter slightly panicked and wanted to protest but the gabbing pain in his chest told him to let it happen.
"Okay yeah. That's fine."
"Thank you. FRIDAY scan him for any injuries or signs of illness."
"Peter appears to have, 1 damaged rib, 3 cuts on his upper leg, severe bruising on his arms, and hasn't eaten for over 24 hours." FRIDAY spoke.
Peter was honestly surprised. With the amount of pain he was in he assumed it would be much worse, but maybe the lack of his healing ability was the reason he felt worse.
"Hey Father, Bruce" Peter shyly started.
They both turned to him with stunned but mainly concerned eyes.
"Could I get some food? And Father can I talk to you for a moment."
"Of course. Bruce, see if you can make him some breakfast."
"On it."
Stephen then took a seat next to Peter, prompting him to continue.
"Well you see, I have healing abilities. And since I haven't eaten in a while, it's kinda slow today."
"Healing abilities?"
"Yeah" Peter started "Two years ago I was actually bitten by a radioactive spider. I obviously didn't know it was radioactive so I killed it. And then um, the next day it was a lot of headaches and migraines. Until finally, it calmed down and my senses were heightened. It's like they are dialed up to eleven."
"What do you mean?"
"For example, I have super hearing. I can probably understand what Bruce is saying in the kitchen if I really tried."
"That's fascinating Peter. I would love for you to explain this more to me but right now, your injuries. I can only assume you got some of them when you fought Tony and the others."
Peter nodded.
"I thought so, but I don't ever recall you getting hit in the chest to cause rib damage."
Peter doesn't really know what he expected from his Father. He did have years of medical training under his belt.
"You know how most trans guys, um, cover themselves?" Peter cringed as he said that. He could have phrased it better.
"I've heard about it , yes. You're referring to your chest right?"
Peter nodded before saying, "Yeah it's called binding and well there are these things called binders that do that, flatten the chest I mean. And I might have slept in it." He paused and braced himself before saying,
"More than once."
Stephen immediately panicked and demanded Peter to do an X-Ray to check for further damages. Peter was too tired to say no.
Soon after Bruce and Tony walked into the room, Bruce carrying a plate of pancakes and some milk, while Tony just rushed with his usual cup of coffee.

As Peter was eating, Bruce started.
"So, what time is he coming in?"
"In a few hours. But I wanna get everyone together before he shows up. FRIDAY!"
"Yes Boss?"
"Contact all the Avengers and tell them to arrive at the Tower at noon, say it's a conference and that it's urgent."
"Right away, Boss."
Peter put down his fork and threw Tony a confused looked.
"Is this about Mr Nick Fury? Is this because I'm Spider-Man? Dad, what's going on?"
Tony made his way next to Peter and sat down with him.
"Nothing is going to happen, kid. I just want to gather everyone before the pirate gets here to let them know. Wanna make sure that the next time they see you they don't immediately start attacking you."
"And they owe you an apology. We owe you an apology."
Peter fondly smiled at this. It was very rare for his Dad to admit he's wrong. He'd call this a win, despite him being in the med bay right now.
"Alright! Eat up and FRIDAY will let you know when they get here. Oh, and I'll let Harley know you're here."
Peter continued eating and Stephen came back with the X-Ray results.
"Peter! Luckily for you the damage isn't permanent and we can fix it but I'd recommend not binding for a few days. And no patrol."
Peter was about to protest before Stephen continued.
"Normally I'd say for longer, however your advanced healing seems to be kicking in already. But as to not risk it, stay off the streets for a few days, preferably the next week."
Peter just nodded his head, honestly too tired and sore to think of a comeback.
The next few hours Peter stayed in the med bay, talking with Bruce and Stephen as they monitored his food intake. Harley eventually came by and joined them all to keep Peter company till the conference. Not before lecturing Peter about being careful.
They stayed chatting for a few hours, eventually watching a movie of Peter's choice. Star Wars, unsurprisingly. Peter was able to put some food into his system and slowly began feeling better. However, Stephen still didn't allow him to do too many movements, for fear of further harm.
Eventually, they were all interrupted by FRIDAY.
"Boss would like me to inform you all that the remainder of the Avengers have arrived."
"Thank you FRIDAY. Tell them we'll be up there in a moment." Stephen answered the AI before turning to Peter.
"You aren't moving so," Stephen began to conjure a portal and quickly, Peter fell through the portal and onto a cushioned chair. Right into the conference room.
"Speak of the devil and he shall appear." Rhodey said as he laid eyes on Peter.
"So this is Spider-Man. Say, what's your name kid?"
Peter worriedly looked at Tony, asking for help.
"Alright, alright. He just got here after you all nearly killed him. Let me talk to him quickly."
Tony motioned for everyone to leave the room, Stephen naturally staying by his side.
"They don't recognize me?" Peter started.
"Well not with the new hair cut and bruises on your face." Tony said.
"Do you want them to recognize you? Cause right now they just see Spider-Man. Do you want them to see Peter?". Stephen asked.
"I mean, what's one more secret? Half of them already know regardless."
"You sure? Please don't feel pressured to tell them if you don't want to." Stephen answered.
"No no it's fine. Besides, I'd plan to tell them regardless. Why not let it all out now?"
Tony simply fondly smiled at Peter before calling out
"FRIDAY call everyone back in."
"Yes, Boss"
Everyone soon came flooding back in and were motioned to take a seat. Tony and Harley sitting next to Peter.
"Ok" Tony clapped "Some of you may have caught on as to what's going on, others may not. Before the kid speaks, Pepper will pass around NDAs and may I remind you all! The kid is a minor, no physical harm of any kind to him."
Everyone nodded and hummed in agreement as Pepper came into the room with Non-Disclosure Agreements.
"Oh wow you all really put me on the spot. But, I'm Spider-Man. I'm sure you all figured that out now. But,"
Peter's voice began to shake a little but he steadied himself when Tony held his hand in reassurance.
"I'm Peter. Peter Stark. I'm trans"
The room fell quiet for a few minutes. Peter couldn't tell what was going on through everyone's head.
"So, that's it." Clint spoke up as he started to make his way outside.
"What?" Steve asked him.
"That's it. Mission success. We found out who Spider-Man is. What else is there to talk about?"
Steve was quiet for a few minutes before he turned to Peter.
"I'm sorry. It's nice to finally meet Spider-Man, Peter."
Everyone was about to flood out of the room before Harely spoke up.
"Excuse me! I think you all owe him an apology!"
Everyone turned to face them, exchanging looks of guilt.
"We're sorry Peter. We're the reason you're in this condition. Is there anything we can do to make it up to you?" Nat spoke up.
"Nothing, honestly. Just, thank you." Peter smiled as a single tear rolled down his face.
