《Neon in the Dark - Morgan Wallen》Twenty One

Maggie Grace has put out her double album; From Nashville to Asheville- twenty four songs.
She's totally exhausted as she gets dressed in a cute, low cut, navy sundress and a pair of white cowboy boots. Christian put together a party for her since this might be her last album.
She sighs to herself as she steps out to the kitchen to grab her purse then she's out to the driveway where Morgan is already waiting for her in his truck. "You look beautiful." He smiles, reaching over to give her knee a squeeze. "Ready?"
"As I'll ever be." She mumbles back around a cigarette she's lighting.
"Everyone's proud of you." He says, reversing down the drive to the street then heads in the direction of the club.
Once Morgan is parked and heads toward the door but he realizes he's alone. He looks over his shoulder and sees his girlfriend still sitting in the truck. "You okay?"
"We should just ditch and go get a burger." She mumbles, playing with the fringe on her purse. "I wanna go home, Morgan."
"Just stay for a couple hours, Mags." He says as he leans against the frame of the car. "You'll have fun." She looks up at him with tired eyes. "C'mon, they're waitin' for us." She groans as she slides out to her feet, grabbing his hand tight in hers as they head to the door of the club.
"You owe me a burger." She grumbled, pushing the door open. "Hey y'all." She gives everyone a fake smile before heading to the bar.
Maggie looks over her shoulder at Morgan talking with Michael and Caleigh. Her boyfriend keeps wiping his sweaty hands off on his jeans before he takes a couple deep breaths. She furrows her brows at the sight; she's really seen him nervous before. She shrugs it off as she talks to the bartender for a while before she's cut off with a hand on her shoulder.
Maggie jumps and looks at the hand, following the arm up to the shoulder. "Matt, hey." Her face drops then splits into a friendly smile.
"Maggie, how's it going?" He asks, sitting next to her. "Congrats on the second album."
"Oh, thanks." She nods, taking a sip from her Screwdriver. "What've you been up to?"
"Been writin', y'know." He looks her over. "You look good." She blushes into her drink.
"What're you doin' here, Matt?"
"Everyone at Big Loud was invited." He responds, ordering himself a beer. "Y'know I thought you woulda quit after one album."
"Huh."
"I really liked 'em songs though, all of em. Especially Next Girl."
"Oh, that's my favorite too." A familiar voice says from behind her.
"R-Riley, hey."
"Let's just be honest; the first part of your double album is amazing." Riley says, leaning against the bar.
"What're you doin' here, Riley?"
"Oh, my good friend, Matt, invited me."
Maggie looks between her two ex fiancé's with a heavy heart. "Y'all look well." She manages out, tapping the bar for another drink. Her head shoots to the door when it opens, smiling when she sees Evelyn. "Momma!" She abandons her ex's and drink at the bar before rushing over to give her mom a tight hug. "What're you doin' out here?"
"Morgan invited me to your party! He said it was somethin' I couldn't miss."
"I'm so glad you're here." She feels tears in her throat. "You gotta meet everyone!" Maggie takes her mother's arm in hers before she introduces her to her best friends, co- workers, employer, and reintroduces her ex-fiancé's just to be spiteful.

The door opens again and in walks Frank with Sage and Morgan's father. "The hell is goin' on?" Maggie asks as she greets the three guys. "What're y'all doin' here?"
"Morgan invited us."
She rolls her eyes as she spins on her heel to start toward her boyfriend. "Hey baby." He smiles, throwing his denim button up clad arm around her shoulders. "What's up?"
"You invited my family? Why?" She asks, her hand on his chest as they stand in the corner. "What's goin' on, Morgan?"
"You kept saying this was your last album and I wanted them to be here for you."
She chuckles and shakes her head, pulling him down for a kiss. "And your old man?"
"He's more your dad than mine." Morgan shrugs, tucking a stray curl behind her ear. "Just enjoy tonight, okay?" She nods and smiles up at him. "Get on out there." He smacks her ass before disappearing into the crowd.
A couple hours or so later, Morgan is up at the front of the club, a mic in his hand as he clears his throat. "Hey y'all." He smiles, getting everyone's attention. "Thanks for comin' out tonight for my girl's album release party." He points to her, everyone cheers and applauds. "She's been workin' so damn hard on this record and she's finally put it out for all y'all."
She waves him off. "You're goofy."
"C'mon up here." He holds his hand out for her. She shakes her head but then whines playfully as her mother and brother pushes her up to stand with him. "And with all our friends and-and family here, I wanted to ask you somethin'." He smiles nervously as he gets down on one knee, reaching into his pocket for the small leather box with one hand while the microphone is tight in his other. "Maggie May-" She shoots him a look that makes him snort out a giggle. "I love you so much, Magnolia Grace. Will you marry me?"
Riley drops his drink while Matt clenches his jaw.
The entire club is silent as they wait for her response.
"Yes- yeah- hell yeah, I'll marry you!" She laughs, wrapping her now fiancé in a tight hug, happy tears in her eyes and a matching grin on her face. Everyone cheers and applauds again, Caleigh and Evelyn have tears of their own in their eyes as they watch the two become engaged. "Wow." She kisses him hard, holding the sides of his face.
Caleigh whisks Maggie away to chit chat while Morgan talks with his boys. "I get why he invited everyone now." She says with red cheeks as she looks down at her small diamond ring. She giggles to herself before she looks over at her fiancé, her smile disappearing when she sees Matt and Riley towering over Morgan. "Oh shit." She squeaks when Riley suddenly punches Morgan, giving him no other choice but to fight back.
Caleigh grabs Maggie's hand to stop her from walking toward the group of guys as she watches Michael and Sage already on their way over there. Soon, it turns into a blood bath and all five are kicked out of the club.
Maggie doesn't know what to do. She doesn't know if she should yell at her ex's or rush to the other three's sides. She shakes her head as she starts down the sidewalk to the corner gas station for a pack of cigarettes.

Evelyn has given her daughter a ride home. She tried to get her mom to take her to Asheville instead but she knew deep down she should wait up for her fiancé. Maggie sits herself at the table with a glass of wine and a cigarette as she waits for Morgan.

He finally stumbles on home around five in the morning. "Hey, there you are." He says, an ice pack against his eye. "Missed a fuckin epic fight." He says sarcastically.
"Surprised I'm not gettin' a call from you jail." She responds with a set jaw.
"C'mon now." He says, dropping the cloth wrapped bag of ice on the counter. "If you was there, we woulda been fuckin in the bathroom at the club." He smirks, licking his lips before using the back of his hand to wipe off some blood.
"You're somethin' else." She shakes her head, picking up the ashtray from the table to empty it out in the trash can after she sets the wine glass in the sink. "You're a fuckin idiot."
Morgan inhales deeply as he slides his hands to her hips under her stolen baggy Eagles tee. He rests his chin on her shoulder, his fingers dipping into the waistband of her panties. She hums, melting against his chest with her head lulling back as he starts kissing her neck softly. "Morgan..."
"What?" He asks as his hand slides a little further between her thighs. "You okay?" She breathes a moan out, her eyes closing. "I'm gonna take a shower." He says, patting her hips before pulling away. She spins and grabs his shirt, yanking him down for a hot, demanding kiss. "Did you bite my lip?" He asks, pressing his fingers against his busted lip.
"Tried to bite both." She winks, sauntering back to her bathroom with Morgan practically drooling after her.

Maggie and Caleigh are sitting on a bench outside of a small cafe in Nashville when Mags' phone starts ringing with an unknown Asheville, North Carolina number. "Hello?" She asks, tucking her phone between her ear and shoulder as she peels the wrapper off her new pack of cigarettes.
"Is this, uh, Magnolia Wilson?"
"Yes, this is she." She says as she stands, crossing her arm over her chest, her elbow propped on her hand. "Can I help you?"
"Your mother, Evelyn, is in the hospital. She's fine, she's totally fine but-"
"But? But what? But means there's somethin wrong-"
"Ma'am, she collapsed at the grocery store." The voice says, sighing. "She had a heart attack."
"What!?" Caleigh looks up from her phone at the pacing girl while she sits at a table. "Oh my god! Where- where is she?"
"Buncombe County Hospital." She replies with the sound of rustling paperwork. "Unfortunately, you can't visit her until Tuesday; that's our policy."
"That's a stupid policy." She huffs. "That's my momma-"
"Ma'am, please. Visiting hours are Tuesday through Saturday, noon to six. You're more than welcome to come then, okay? We just gotta make sure her vitals are steady before she gets visitors."
"Fuck- fine. I will see you noon on Tuesday." She grumbles, hanging up.
Maggie turns to Caleigh with a sour face. "What's up?"
"Momma's in the hospital."
"Oh my god. What happened?"
"Heart attack." Maggie picks up her cigarette pack then tosses it in the trash. "Gotta see her."
"Maybe you should just-"
"I can't just sit and twiddle my fuckin' thumbs all day." She shakes her head. "I gotta go." She grabs her purse and slings it over her shoulder as she heads to her car, sighing heavily as she jams the key into the lock.
Maggie huffs as she speeds off to her home. She throws her car into park, turns it off then drops herself on the front porch step with her head in her hands.
Morgan peeks out of the front room window and sighs when he sees his fiancé with her head against her knees. He wraps a blanket around his shoulder and tip toes out to sit next to her. "What's up?" He asks, softly.
She shakes her head, sighing quietly.
Morgan accepts the fact that she doesn't want to talk so he just sits with her in silence on the porch.
They sit like that for a couple hours until Maggie drops her head on his shoulder and starts to doze off. He smiles to himself as he picks her up and carries her to their bed, tucking her in comfortably under the plaid sheets.

Morgan stirs awake when he feels and hears shuffling coming from his fiancé's side of the bed. He rolls on his back and looks over at the blonde with droopy eyes. "What the hell're you doin'?" He slurs out as he watches her pack a suitcase, leaning up on his elbows.
"Goin to Asheville." She says, folding a pair of jeans before tucking them into her trunk.
"What?"
"My momma's in the hospital." She pushes her glasses back up her nose as she folds a couple t-shirts and tank tops.
"Is she okay?"
"I don't know." Maggie turns back to the dressers, snagging a couple of Morgan's tees and sweatshirts. "But I gotta be out there with her."
Morgan flops back against the sheets and sighs, looking up at the ceiling as he runs his hand through his bed head. "Want me to come with?"
"No, you got your album to record." She shakes her head. "I'll be fine."
"How long're you gonna be gone for?"
"I don't know." Maggie closes her trunk and flips the latches shut. "You take care of my house, okay?" Morgan sits up and takes her hand, pulling her back down to the bed. He starts kissing her sleepily, softly, before his kisses turn rougher as he slips a hand under her tee. He pushes her shirt up, peppering soft kisses to her flushed skin, his tongue trailing down her breasts to her shorts. Maggie bites her lip when she feels him tugging her shorts and panties off. She lifts her head and sees him stripping his own clothes off before returning to his fiancé with a filthy smirk on his lips.
Morgan pulls her on top of him, his hands tight around her hips as she guides him in, twin moans falling from their lips. "Morgan, I should really... get- fuck-" She trails off as her fiancé kisses her chest. "I gotta get..."
"Shh." He whispers, a hand over her mouth as he lays her on her back, bringing a leg over his shoulder.
One last time before she has to go.

Dungeon Instinct
The multiverse is a big place, and it is also constantly in flux. As such sometimes mistakes occur, impossibilities that should have never come into existence. An aspect of corruption born naturally of a mortal and a divine, a Void that is a singularity instead of a duality, a being that came to be before existence ever was, a forgotten that is not damned, the possibilities are infinite and limitless, and thus so are the possible mistakes in this grand multiverse. But are not mistakes more entertaining to watch? For Kelic the Blightborn, life was suffering. Born of a holy Templar dedicated to serving the Forgotten Guardian and a powerful abyssal demon queen that raped said Templar, Kelic’s first sight and sensation in Quellios and its realms was being baptized in the life-blood of his dying father. Tortured in the 1425th level of the abyss for ten years, Kelic was only set free of this constant nightmare of an existence by the unintended results of the Ascendant Angel’s rise to true divinity. His freedom from the abyss was not the paradise that the young Kelic thought however, as he was branded a BlightBorn, or a child of tragedy that brings only misfortune, by the people of Quellios. Abused by all he ever knew or met the boy found solace in only in the things of beauty and the act of reading, a skill he taught himself. His latent ability to comprehend and remember all of what he read and the sheer speed of his reading gained the attention of a prominent figure of Evrette Academy Island. Taken in by the famous mage Fredrick Dunhousen, Kelic lived in peace for the first time in his young life… that is until he was killed. Follow the tale of a newly born dungeon core in the world of Eserthet, that has only one single purpose. One single purpose it decided for itself...
