《Neon in the Dark - Morgan Wallen》Eleven

The four are on the road again to Little Rock, Arkansas. Morgan has been keeping his distance from everyone since that night in Alabama. Maggie has herself against the side of the venue with a cigarette in one hand and a bottle of orange Gatorade in the other. "Mags?" She hears a familiar voice say.
She looks up and purses her lips. "Matt, hi. What're you doin' here?"
"I'm home for the week." Her ex-fiancé shrugs. "Why are you here?"
"I'm playin' tonight."
"Playin' what?"
"My songs. I'm singin' tonight."
"So I guess you really did go through with that deal, huh?"
"Seems so." She says shortly, craning her neck to look her six-foot-seven ex-fiancé in the eyes.
Matt clears his throat awkwardly. "You look good." He runs his eyes over her figure dressed in a pair of tight ripped flare jeans and a crop top. "So what're you doin' after the show?" She laughs. "What?"
"I'm engaged." She says, tapping the ash off her cigarette.
"Wow. You don't waste no time, do you?" He takes her hand and looks over her new glimmering piece of jewelry. "Who?"
"Riley Green." She grins, looking at her ring. "Couple days ago."
"Mags, sound check. Let's go." Brooks shouts to her from the side door.
"See ya Matt." She hands him her trash before she heads inside. "Matt's here." She mutters to Michael as she picks up a mic.
"Matt? Matt, your ex-boyfriend, Matt?" He asks, handing her guitar to Dean.
"The one and only. He wanted to get together after the show."
"Please tell me you're not-"
"Relax. I told him I was engaged." She taps her finger against the mic. "I'm not stupid."
"Well-"
"Don't!" She laughs as she pushes him away playfully.
"Okay, Mags." The sound guy says from the back of the venue. She never caught his name. "Go ahead and start singin' somethin'."
"Uhh..." She clears her throat before opening her mouth. "Puttin' in that overtime and comin' up with nothin'. Sure as hell ain't for lack of tryin'. There's no use in wastin' time in fightin' for somethin' when you see that white flag a flyin'. Can you hear that whistle blow?"
"What song is that?" Michael asks with a red solo cup in his hand. "Never heard that before."
"Oh, I just made that up." She shrugs back, pushing her hair out of her face.
"Seriously? You just made that up?" She nods. "That's fuckin' good."
"Thanks." She's excused once the sound guy gets everything set right. "Have you seen Morgan?" Maggie asks a crew member when they walk past her.
"He's in that room." He points at a closed door.
"Thanks." Maggie knocks on the wood. "Hey, Morgan?"
"Fuck off." He snaps back. She rolls her eyes as she lets herself into the room. "What the fuck!?"
"What the hell!?" She slaps her hands over her eyes at the sight of some half naked skinny bitch going down on her ex boyfriend. "Shit-" She slams the door shut behind her, rushing to the bathroom across the hall to calm herself down. "Gross!" She leans over the sink, looking at her hands gripping the sides of the granite countertop.

A couple minutes later, the door swings open, revealing Morgan. "Dude, what the hell? I told you to fuck off-" He squeezes himself between the door and the girl in front of him.
"I just walked in on you getting a fuckin blowjob. I'm- why- gross!" She shutters, pacing around the cramped room.
"That's why I fuckin told you to fuck off! One; I was gettin' head and two; you're my ex!"
"You could've just gone on the fucking bus or- or the bathroom- where people give others privacy!" The door starts to open. "Fuck off!" She shouts, kicking it shut. "It's not just your fuckin' dressin' room or whatever, okay!? It's all of ours!"
"Everyone else was done!"
"Who was that girl!?"
"I met her at the fuckin' barbecue place 'round the corner when I was gettin' some lunch."
"Do you even know her name?" She asks somewhat condescendingly, her blue eyes narrowing at the redneck in front of her.
"Why do you care!? We're not together anymore and you're engaged! This is none of your goddamn business!" He's angry. Maggie feels a burning in her chest as he glares at her with that look that only she can cause. She's the only one who knows how to effectively push his buttons with the least amount of effort.
They stand in a very intense moment of silence before she's suddenly shoved against the sink then lifted to sit on the counter. Morgan grabs her waist as he kisses her so hotly- so possessively that she can't breathe. She rips his stupid red sleeveless flannel open, his black buttons clicking when they hit the tile floor. He quickly gets her jeans down her long legs before he moves her panties to the side, shoving his hips against hers. She cries out at the sudden intrusion before he clamps a hand over her mouth, moving slowly to tease her. She smacks his hand away before pulling him in for another hot kiss as her tank top straps slip off her shoulders, causing the rest of her top to slide down and expose her bare, braless chest.
"You're such a fuckin-"
"Shut the fuck up." He snaps, leaving red splotches on her neck and chest.
"Mags!?" Brooks shouts, his voice echoing down the hallway. "You're on in five!"
"Fuck." She breathes out, her curls falling in her face as she pulls back. "Oh fuck!" She shoves Morgan back so she can fix her clothes. She watches him tug his jeans up as he pants hard, his sweaty chest shining in the dim lighting while his damaged flannel hangs around him. She grabs his jaw and kisses him once more before rushing out to the stage.

Nashville, Tennessee.
It's their last night on tour and everyone is ready for it to be over. The vibes have been weird as hell since they left Arkansas. Maggie hasn't been really talking to anyone besides Caleigh and she's ready to just go home and be with her fiancé. She can't wait to be done and home and in her own bed.
Yeah, she's still with Riley even after she fucked Morgan in the bathroom.
She's not proud of what she did- of what they did- but hey, it's tour life.
Maggie is pacing around backstage, waiting to go on stage for the last time this summer. The lights go down and she goes out onto the stage. Soon, she forgets all about the way she cheated on her fiancé with her ex as she sings a song she hasn't performed on this tour yet; a song she had written back when she first started at Big Loud.

"Heard from a friend of a friend, that you had a reputation. And it sounded like my kind of lonely medication. I was the girl he'd cheat on, looking for a little bit of neon. So I got drunk, hit you up and you took the invitation.
We were dive bar kissing, heartbreak fixing, no strings Saturday night. Hot like a match that burned out fast, forever wasn't in our eyes. You knew it, and I knew it and it was a damn good time. My last call, first call, no falling just my getting over him guy."
There are sudden cheers as her back is turned to the wings.
"Heard from a friend of friend that you had a bad month, girl. You said that you needed someone who liked to have a little fun, girl. Turns out that's my specialty, cooked you up a good recipe. Denim on denim, forget him, yeah, we lit it up, girl."
She turns and sees Morgan standing there with a shit eating grin as he saunters his way to the blonde on the stage to sing the bridge together.
"Yeah, you were gettin over him. I was gettin over him. Girl, I can be your go to, hold you, savior. Let me know if I can ever return the favor."
Maggie gives into the sultry vibe of the song as they move to the chorus. She lets Morgan dance with her, that trouble making grin still on his face.
"... My last call, first call, no falling just my gettin' over him guy."
Morgans gives her a lingering hug and a playful ass grab before rushing back off stage, her blue eyes burning holes in the back of his head as he disappears into the shadows of the wings. She says her goodbyes and thanks a couple people before her set is done.
Maggie storms to one of the rooms assigned to them, looking for Morgan. She finds him kicked back on a couch and she can practically see the smile on his face as she glares at the top of his head. "What the hell?"
"Excuse me?" He asks, sitting up to face her. "I was doing you a favor, Maggie May. You wrote that song for two voice parts and you needed a second so you're welcome."
"You- I-"
"Just say thank you."
"Fuck you." The corner of his lips twitch with a dirty smirk. "You're nothing but trouble."
"Oh I know. And I know you're a trouble junkie." She laughs incredulously. "C'mon, Gracie, I've known you for years. I know how your pretty mind works and I know you can't help yourself to bad situations like us."
"You're full of-"
"You know I'm right. All throughout high school we was always doin' somethin' illegal or tresspassin' or somethin'."
"No we weren't."
"That lake we swam in for our first date was on someone else's property."
"So?"
"Think about it!" He shouts. "You let me finger bang you at your album release party. I fucked you in the goddamn bathroom!"
"I don't think I'm a trouble junkie. I think it's you that's the trouble." She says as she bites her lip, crossing her arms over her chest. "Everything that you've brought up has been us doin' somethin'."
"You got your nose pierced and a tattoo like forty five minutes after your mom told you no."
"To be fair, I was dealin' with my folks gettin' a divorce."
He stands and slowly makes his way to her. She backs against the door as he leans close to her. "We both know that Riley's safe; he's not a risk. You need a risk and that risk is me." Maggie snorts and pushes him back slightly. "Matt killed that hell raiser that I fell in love with and Riley is keepin' her boxed in. You're not yourself 'round them like you are 'round me."
"Morgan, you've changed since high school. You're not that star athlete anymore. You keep saying that I've changed, maybe you should take a look at yourself." She says, brushing back a stray wave from his cheek before slipping out the door. Morgan sighs, looking down at his hand before he throws the bottle of beer in his hand into the trash.
After Morgan's set ends, the four find themselves going their separate ways. Caleigh and Michael are heading to their house, leaving Morgan and Maggie alone for the time being until Riley picks them up. She's sitting on a cooler while Morgan's sitting on the ground of the Big Loud parking lot alone together at three in the morning. "Y'know, touring was a lot more fun than I thought it was gonna be."
"Told you." Morgan mutters, picking at the label around his dip can while Maggie lights up her second cigarette. "Here." He hands her a guitar pick. "I saw you were collecting them from each of your shows and you didn't get one tonight so here." She can't help the small smile on her lips as she looks at a white guitar pick with and M and W on it.
"Morgan Wallen or Maggie Wilson?" They chuckle quietly. "Thanks. That's really thoughtful of you."
"Yeah well, figured it'd help make up for a couple years of shit." She sighs and looks over at him. "I'm sorry about everything-"
Maggie leans over and kisses his cheek. "Thank you." He blushes hard as he looks away. "I'm sorry too. Can we just act like nothin' bad happened?"
"Nothin' bad happened then." He winks as he pats her knee. "Is that him?" Morgan nods to an old blue GMC Sierra pick up that pulls into the parking lot.
"Yep. C'mon, we'll take you home." Maggie says as Riley backs toward them. She reaches up and drops the tailgate before she tosses her bag into the bed. Morgan smacks her hands away from the heavier stuff so he can pack it with everything else. "C'mon, baby." She nods towards the cab.
Maggie slides onto the bench seat next to her fiancé followed by her ex boyfriend. She leans over and kisses Riley on the cheek as he puts his truck into drive, heading off to Morgan's house before he takes Maggie home.

I won't follow the rules of the throne inheritance, also the rules of the king / prince / princess has to be protected, instead I will make them wield weapons and bring them to the front lines. So I will make the kings clash their weapons against each other rather than their generals (of course I will make their general fight with them). >I have added the high fantasy tag so that you understand the world in this story has its own rules that are different from the real world. >This story includes sword fight, magic fight, barehand fight, war between kingdoms, strategy, city / castle infiltration, conspiracy, betrayal and a few chapters of romantic scenes at the beginning of the story (that looks like a boring 'fairy tale love story', but you will understand their love story actually a slow romance and full of conspiracy at the middle of story). >I'm not a pro writer, so there will be a lot of errors. >Cover by commission

8 147Green Raven, a Running with Devils LitRPG
One minute Ronald McGreen was thinking about how he would get out of the cleaning closet his new classmates had thrown him in. The next he is transferred to something of a waiting room for a new game world. Giving him two hard choices. Not that he wasn’t used to hard choices since his fathers death and his mothers depression, where he chose to step up and do everything in his power to get his mother back up on her two feet. This is a story of a young man around 16-17 years growing up and making choices for himself, that sometimes affects others. This story is a slow burn, the MC will become stronger but he has insecurities that he needs to overcome and so on. I've read plenty of books over the years and lately fallen hard for the LitRPG genre of Fantasy, and this is my first attempt to write a book.

8 107World Labyrinth
Meet our hero: an average young man with an average life, who ended up dying while working an average job. However, he's a given a chance to see another world at the final crossroads of his old life. The catch... well... he knows there's one. There always is. But, hey, when you're about to die, you take whatever opportunity's provided to you. This is the young man's story in the new world as he learns he can't afford to be average anymore. AUTHOR'S NOTE: I've decided to put this note up due to some comments and ratings left for this ORIGINAL FICTION complaining its boring. This story starts slow and it takes time for things to pick up. Also the MC doesn't start off as superman or become superman magically in two chapters. He also is AVERAGE... so it takes time to build up his character. Starting chapter 14 or so things pick up, but this isn't a pure hack and slash and skills level up story like most of the FF on this site. Just giving you a warning, so you don't end up disappointed and end up having to post large paragraphs complaining about the story... I also post on average every TWO OR THREE DAYS, so you'll get more to read.
