《Neon in the Dark - Morgan Wallen》Eight

Riley and Maggie have been officially dating since he moved to Nashville. That was nearly a year ago. She's been stressing the fuck out over perfecting her debut album 'Neon In The Dark'; making sure her songs are done, the lyrics are right, even making sure the cover is good.
"Tomorrow's the big day!" She squeals as she's pacing around the break room with Morgan and Michael sitting at the table in front of her. "Man, my heart feels like it's gonna fall outta my ass."
"It's always nerve wracking." Michael smiles. "Big Loud has been promoting your record out the ass for the past couple months and people seem pretty pumped."
"Yeah. This goes good, you might be lookin' at a tour with your two favorite guys next summer." Morgan forces a smile.
"A- A tour?" She stops in her tracks, her hand rubbing over her exposed chest in her low cut shirt. "Really?"
"Yeah, seein' the world." Morgan says. "It's a good time."
"It really is." Michael adds, laughing with his best friend. They really live it up on tour.

The following night, Maggie's family at Big Loud have a party planned for their star songwriter. She's dressed in a dress that accents her perfect figure; the dress thats always gotten Morgan going since high school. She pulls up to the party with Riley, hand in hand as they reach the door to the club Christian has booked for the night. "Hey!" She's greeted with cheering and applauding.
"Hey y'all." She waves back. "Thanks for bein' here." Maggie heads to the bar, ordering a drink that's apparently on the house.
She leans against the bar, watching Riley be his chatty self, talking and greeting everyone while she's off to the side. Morgan walks past her without saying anything. "Hey." She grabs his hand. "What's going on with you?"
"Nothing." He says, looking down at their joined hands before pulling away. "Congrats on the record." He starts to walk away.
"Hey!" Maggie says again, following him to a table at the back of the bar. "Seriously, what's goin' on with you?" She sits herself next to him in the booth, sitting real close to him. "Is it me?" He doesn't look up from his drink. "It is, isn't it."
"It's not you." He sighs as he glances around, seeing Riley busy talking to a couple people. "It's not you."
"Let's go somewhere quieter so I can actually hear you." She pulls on Morgan's hand, leading him to the back alley of the bar. "Talk to me. What's the problem? How can I help you-"
"Are you happy?"
"Right now? Yeah. Beyond happy. Blessed. I have great friends, a record that I put out for myself, and a great boyfriend."
"Honestly. Are you happy?" He looks up with dark, exhausted eyes. She meets his gaze before she's suddenly pressed back against the door, his lips against hers. His kiss is needy and hot as he grabs the sides of her face. She lets out a soft moan, her eyes closed in bliss as he starts down her neck.
"Mmm- no, Morgan-" she lazily pushes him back slightly. "I'm with Ri- ohh." She exhales softly as he starts down her neck again. He slips her dress strap off her shoulder, trailing soft kisses down her flushed skin. "No- I- Morgan- I really shouldn't."
"But you want to." He whispers, his hand never leaving her neck. "I know that look- I see that look on your face." She lets out another soft moan as his fingers side under her dress and into her panties. She lets him finger bang her right there in the back alley of the club they're at.

Morgan keeps his free hand over her mouth to keep her quiet as she nears her climax. She shudders, wrapping her arm around his neck, keeping him close against her. "God fucking dammit, Morgan." She has tears in her eyes as she comes to her senses and shoves him back. "We- I'm with Riley, not you." She gives him a look that has him keeping his mouth shut. "I..." She puts her hand on his chest and lets it trail down his abdomen to the belt looped through his tight jeans. Maggie shakes her head as she heads back into the club, tugging her dress further down her thighs.
"Hey." Riley smiles at his girlfriend, pulling her down to sit on his lap, his arm around her. "You ready to get outta here?"
"Hm?" She asks, distracted at the sight of Morgan returning to the group with a dirty smirk that he shoots in her direction. She blushes hard but directs it to Riley as she brings his hand to her waist. "Yeah. Let's go." She gives Morgan that look of hers as they head back to his place.

After a couple rounds of sex, Maggie is sitting against the foot of Riley's bed while he's sleeping, a cigarette between her fingers. She hasn't been able to get that incident with Morgan out of her mind.
Is she happy?
She picks up her phone, her free fingers twitching over Morgan's contact before she tosses it to the side. She pulls Riley's shirt on before heading out to the balcony attached to his bedroom.
She's restless as fuck.
Sick to her stomach.
"You okay?" Riley asks, his hand rubbing her back as she stands against the railing.
"Just a lot on my mind." She sighs, turning to face him.
"You look worried, you have that look." She rolls her eyes as she smiles. "What's buggin' you, baby?" He brushes her curls from her face, his thumb against her cheek.
"Just everything with the album dropping and the party and now there's talks of a tour. It's just a lot."
"I get it." He smiles comfortingly. "C'mon, you need some sleep."
"No, I'm fine." She shakes her head, flicking her cigarette away, as he pulls her back to his bed. He tucks her into his sheets then slides in next to her, pulling her close. She peacefully dozes off with her boyfriend.

"A tour? Really?" Maggie asks.
"I mean, 'Neon in the Dark' is doing great and why not? I set Hardy and Morgan up on a tour together and I can have you opening for them. It'd just be a handful of songs before they go on-" Christian explains, leaning back in his desk chair.
"Yes, I'd love to do that- the tour." Mags nods, that pretty dimpled grin on her face. "This summer?"
"Early June til August. Since they're still kind of smaller names in the world of country music, it's just gonna be a handful of states, mostly the southern states. You're gonna do so great on tour and I know the boys will make sure you feel at home."
"Hell yeah!" She laughs, extending her hand to shake Christians. "Deal."
"Great! I'll get everything set up and then you'll be on your first tour." She stands and starts to the door. "Hey! I'm proud of you, Mags."
"Thanks."
=
"Morgan, stop it!" Mags elbows him away. "C'mon, this is due in six hours." They've been trying to write a song for their creative songwriting class and so far they have nothing. He's been bouncing off the walls, his brain being pulled in a million different directions as he tries to focus on their assignment. It's partially because he's bored, his girlfriend is in his bed and most likely undiagnosed ADHD.

He's been trying so hard to stay focused but she's wearing a pair of shorts that really accentuates her long legs. Morgan puts his hand on her knee and rubs his thumb over her skin. "We don't have time for another distraction..." She trails off when his hand goes higher and his lips start kissing her jaw and neck. "Okay maybe we do." Mags throws her notes to the floor before climbing onto his lap, her fingers twisting in his short brown hair while he runs his hands under her baggy shirt.
"We can be quick, right?" He whispers with his hands under her bra. "We gotta be quick; we have this due in six hours-"
Maggie pulls her top off, her bra following, and tosses them to the floor. "Stop talking." She throws herself backwards onto his bed, pulling him on top of her. He bites his lip. "Quit chasin' that feelin' and just fuck me."
"I'll always be chasin' that feelin'." He breathes against her neck. "Like a goddamn shot of whiskey."

Maggie is sitting on the floor of her bedroom. She's been putting some distance between herself and everyone since Morgan finger banged her at her album release party.
She's embarrassed, ashamed, and turned on.
She lays back on the area rug, a cigarette in her hand as she looks up at the ceiling. There's a lot on her mind as she exhales heavily. How is she going to be able to tour for twelve weeks with Morgan this way? When she's going to be away from Riley and be with Morgan for three months?
A lot can happen in three months.
Michael will be there. It won't be totally awkward. She's sure that Caleigh'll be touring with them so she'll have someone to talk to- a girl to talk to.
Maggie rubs her eyes after she stubs out her cigarette. She gets to her feet and heads out to her kitchen, jumping nearly five feet in the air when there's a knock on the door. She looks through the small window, rolling her eyes at her guest as she opens the door. "What do you want, Morgan?"
"Just checkin' on you." He says innocently.
"I'm fine. Thanks." She starts to shut the door but she's stopped by his hand pushing against it. "What?"
"I'm sorry." He sighs, running his hand through his long hair. "I really am."
"Well, I appreciate it."
"I'm sorry for bringin' you pleasure when your boyfriend was twenty feet away-"
She scoffs. "You were doin' so good with your apology."
"Is he not good?"
"I'm not having this conversation with you."
"He's not, is he. You let me do that because you-"
"Goodbye, Morgan." She pushes him back onto the porch, slamming the door in his face. Maggie exhales shakily as she leans back against the wood of her front door, her cheeks flushed.
Morgan huffs and sits on the first step, pulling a pinch from his can of dip to stuff between his lip and teeth. He loves this girl, truly and honestly loves this girl but he doesn't want to admit it out loud for a couple reasons: one, she has a boyfriend and two, he doesn't want to fuck up their relationship just because he's feeling horny.
Maggie sighs she she grabs a huge blanket and joins him, tossing part of the blanket over his shoulders while she's cozy under the other half. She rests her head on his shoulder, smiling when she feels his hand on her hip.
Chasin' that feelin that got gone too soon.
"Christian's puttin' me on tour with you and Michael this summer."
"That's good. You'll love it." He says stiffly. "You'll have fun."
"I hope so. I've never really been outta state."
"That's a lie. We went to Virginia-"
"On accident because you made us miss our exit."
"Me? You're the one that was givin' me road head!" She blushes bright red. "If you weren't goin down on me, we would've made it to Kingsport to see your precious state park!"
"Hey!" She shouts, getting to her feet. "You're the one that talked me into giving you road head! You still owe me for that!" He suddenly stands and throws her over his shoulder. "Hey!" He drops her on her bed, his chest heaving as he catches his breath. Maggie bites her lip at the sight of his t-shirt tight across his chest and arms and his ass in his blue jeans. She sits up and grabs him by the front of his shirt, pulling him down to her, her arms around his shoulders. She has her hand firm on the back of his head as she kisses him. She directs his hand to her breasts as she undoes his stupidly huge belt buckle.
"Hey babe?" Riley shouts from the kitchen, dropping some take out onto the counter. "Mags?"
"Shit! Fuck!" Morgan gasps, grabbing his clothes after he panics around her bedroom. "Why is he here?"
"He's kinda been stayin' here." He looks around and sees men's stuff on the opposite nightstand, some clothes poking out of a drawer and some of his stupid HALO Waterfowl and other hunting brand hats on her dresser. "Window, now!" She hisses, opening it up before throwing his shoes out onto the balcony. Morgan squeezes himself out with his shoes while Mags pulls her clothes back on. "What did you pick up for supper?"
"Burgers and fries from Big Mama's." He says as he puts the food out on a couple plates. "You okay?" He looks over her flushed face.
"Uh, yeah." She smiles, taking the plates to the table. "Why don't you go wash up?" Riley leans over and kisses her cheek before heading to the bathroom.
When she hears the door shut, Maggie pokes her head out to the porch. "Go, now. You- you gotta go now. Right now!" She hisses to him as he struggles to get his clothes back on. He starts down the wood planks to the steps before he spins on his heel to give her a quick kiss then heads back to his truck that he parked down the street.
She can't help the smile on her lips as she reaches for her porch pack of cigarettes to light up before dinner.

Redshirt: The Journey
Freedom and Order. Peace and War. Love and Hate. Hundreds of young children awaken in a damaged world, on the brink of societal collapse, witnessing the birth of an omnipotent system. Their roles are pre-determined, yet the very fabric of reality lie in their hands. The order of the world shapes them, just how they are free to shape the world in their disparate visions. Each choice, each action, each word, has consequences that reach far beyond their perception. Freedom or Order; ashes in the wind, or the gilded chains. Updates at least every Monday, Thursday, and every other Sarturday, (from 26/11/2021). This is primarily a story exploring what it means to be human, using a lens of a hopefully real-feeling fantasy world. This story is not a power fantasy or a traditional Litrpg , while it has elements of these genres, it will focus on how these tropes would influence real people and possibly Redshirt will break some of these tropes along the way. There will be a variety of different characters and perspectives, some you hate, some you love, and some that will frustrate. Just as all people do. I don't believe there will be anything overly traumatic or explicit, but it's better to be safe than sorry. There will be some heavy topics explored, the characters views do not reflect the authors; however, if there is an issue in how I present/understand these issues please do tell me, and I will try my best to rectify it.
