Morgan sighs as he watches his girlfriend pack up her stuff. She's going on a four month long tour without him but with her ex.

Kate glances over at him. "Don't gimme that look." She whispers.

"Sorry." He whispers back, looking down at his hands. "You gonna be okay?"

"I should be askin' you that."

"Oh I'm gonna be missin' you like hell, baby." He says, standing. Morgan rests his hands on her hips, his breath hitting her neck.

"Morgan..." Kate trails off, goosebumps showing on her skin. "I gotta pack."

"You can take a break." He responds, gently taking the pair of jeans from her hands.

Kate bites her lip when his hands sneak under shirt and shorts. "Morgan..."

He turns her around. "Just take a break."

She lets him feel her up, his lips against her neck. "Morgan..." She repeats, her eyes fluttering closed. "I- I gotta... I gotta... fuck." She pushes him toward the bed, pulling a t-shirt she stole from him off, her cut offs following.

She straddles his hips, her nimble fingers quickly undoing the buttons of the flannel he's wearing, his bare chest coming into view.

Kate leans down and licks a stripe from his belt up to his neck, making him drop a guttural moan. She tugs his blue jeans down, boxers following and Morgan's heart picks up at the thought of what she might be doing.

He can't help the smirk on his face when she goes down on him. It's been a while since she treated him with a blowjob.

He tangles his fingers in her hair, guiding her head up and down as he lets out the hottest sounds Kate's ever heard. Moans mixed with breathy 'fucks' and quiet and gentle praises, Katie just might combust.

She swallows his load then sits back, gathering her hair into a shitty, messy bun. "You okay?" She asks in a teasing voice as she watches her boyfriend lay boneless on the bed, breathing hard with a hand covering his eyes.

"I think you sucked the soul outta me."

A laugh bursts from her lips, her eyes scrunching as she blushes. "You're welcome." She giggles, resting her head in her hand as she looks at him. "You really are one beautiful man." She whispers, her big brown eyes bouncing from feature to feature. "You're so handsome."

It's Morgan's turn to blush and he blushes hard. "Stop it." He sounds choked up. Hell, he looks choked up. Yes, he gets compliments from her all the time but he's never been called beautiful before.

It's a little odd to be called a beautiful man but there's just something about those words and the way she said it that makes him believe it.

"I gotta pack." She whispers, starting to stand.

Kate is stopped by a hand around her wrist. Morgan pulls her back to the bed, laying her back against the sheets.

He grazes her thigh, his fingers hooking in the waistband of her simple panties. He pulls them down her legs then lay between her thighs, his hands coming up to hold onto her hips as he presses teasing kisses to her burning skin.

Kate immediately runs her fingers through his soft brown waves, her body burning and her heart fluttering.

"You got everythin'?" Morgan asks as he stuffs his hands into his pockets. "Charger? Laptop?"

"Yep." Kate sighs heavily as she looks at him. "Except you."

The look she gives him makes his heart ache.

Morgan wraps her in a tight hug, one hand holding the back of her head, the other around her waist. "Call me when you can, okay?"

"I will." Kate pulls back and looks down, hiding her teary eyes. "You behave yourself, Wallen." She teases in a strained voice.

"You too, Katie." He smiles back, cupping the sides of her face to lean in and kiss her gently. "I love you." He whispers.

She chuckles. "I love you too."

Morgan sighs when the bus pulls up to the house. He's going to miss the shit out of his girlfriend.

Four months!?

Might as well be four years!

He's gonna fucking die without Katie Hurst bugging him for four months!

"Y'all be careful on the road, okay? You got some precious cargo up here." Morgan nods at Kate who blushes and rolls her eyes.

"I love you, Morgan." She says, kissing him one last time before she's apart for four months.

"I love you too." He whispers back, tears in his throat. "Bye."

"Bye." She watches him sulk his way back to the front porch.

Kaitlyn immediately logs into her laptop to make sure everyone else is on their proper bus. She stuck herself with Riley which is probably a mistake because she can feel his eyes on her as she types away on her keyboard.

"Riley, man!" Josh, his guitarist, shouts, getting his attention. "C'mon, have a drink with us."

"It's seven in the morning." He responds, looking down at his coffee.

"So!? It's five o'clock somewhere!"

Kate suppresses an eye roll as she rubs her eyes under her glasses. She keeps her focus on the screen, ignoring the pair of blue eyes that are seemingly stuck on her.

"What's up, Riley?"

"Where're we headin'?"

"Uh." Kate pulls up the schedule. "We're on our way to Kansas City."

"Eight hours!?"

"Yeah."

Riley groans and drops his head back against the couch he's sitting on. "Fuck, Katie."

"Kwitcherbitchin'." She huffs. "Tour just started. I'm not spending the next three months listenin' to you bellyache."

"Damn." Someone mumbles.

Riley shakes his head as he stands. "Fuck off."

Josh's eyes go wide as he looks between Kate and Riley. He knows that they have a rocky background but he thought they were over it by now.

After an extremely long drive to Kansas City, they're pulling into the venue.

"This place?" Riley asks, giving her a look that has her blood boiling.

"You're fuckin' lucky you even got a damn tour. I could be sabotaging your entire career now that I'm your manager so I'd watch yourself, Riley Green."

He clenches his jaw. "Is that a threat?"

"It's a goddamn promise."

Kate is sleep deprived. She's been living off of copious amounts of coffee and several packs of cigarettes a day.

She's currently on a FaceTime call with Morgan but he's asleep on the other end. She made the empty promise to fall asleep with him but she hasn't been able to catch an ounce of shut eye.

She's busy typing away an email to another venue when she hears the fridge open and close.

"What're you still doin' up?" Riley asks.

"Working."

"It's four in the morning."

"Yep." Riley leans against the small counter, a bottle of Gatorade in his hand. Kate looks up at him over her glasses and sighs. "Why're you up?"

"Couldn't sleep." He shrugs back. "Whatcha workin' on?"

"Y'know just some boring stuff." Her eyes are dark.

"When was the last time you slept?"

"I don't need sleep." She reaches for her pack of cigarettes and huffs when she sees it's empty. "Damn. Can you hand me my purse?" Riley reaches behind him and picks up her bag. She digs through it and groans again.

"What?"

"Shit." Her hands are shaking. "Shit."

"You okay?"

"No, Riley, I'm not!" She suddenly snaps, throwing her purse on the table. "Fuck!" He jumps.

Kate gets to her feet and starts pacing, her chest heaving and her head spinning. He hands her his Gatorade bottle but she pushes it away.

She's sleep deprived, stressed and having a withdraw; that is not a good combination.

"Hey." Riley puts his hands on her shoulders and stops her. "Take a deep breath."

"Fuck off, Riley." She snaps. Kate goes to push his hands away but he captures hers in his. "N- No, Riley-!" He wraps her in a tight hug, holding her head against his chest and that's when she breaks down.

She suddenly sobs against his chest, her fingers twisting in his shirt. Everything has just hit her like a ton of bricks. Her legs give out under her and the two sink to the floor, Riley cradling her in his strong arms, stroking her hair in a calming way.

Riley lets Kate cry against him for as long as she needs, just holding her- as a friend.

His legs are in such a cramped position; one knee is against his chest and the other is bent under Kate but he doesn't care. He doesn't care about the pain in his knees because Kate needs to just let it all out.

After who knows how long of crying, Kate's sobs go quiet. Riley looks down and sees her eyes shut. He reaches up and shuts her laptop, adjusting slightly so his legs are straightened out and his head is against the couch.

Josh comes out.

"What're you doin'?" He asks, stopping in his tracks at the sight of Riley holding his sleeping ex girlfriend.

"Shh." He whispers back. "I'll tell you later."

Josh nods and pours himself a cup of coffee. He gives them one more glance then heads to the back lounge.

Riley looks down at Kate, still rubbing her back. He holds her tight, her head pressed against his chest, and smiles to himself.

He missed this more than he thought.
