《Tennessee Tipsy - Morgan Wallen》Five

"You awake?" Haley whispers, her head on Morgan's shoulder as his chest rises and falls in a steady pattern, signaling that he's sound asleep. She huffs and jabs him in the side.
"Gaht- what the hell? You okay?" He slurs out, running his hand through his bed head. "What's wrong?"
"I can't sleep." She sighs as he reaches over to turn the bedside lamp on, squinting at the bright light.
"It's three in the morning." He whines, rubbing her back over the thin tank top she's wearing. "Somethin' weighin' on your mind?"
She shrugs, tracing shapes on his bare chest. "When are you gonna be back in Nashville?"
"I dunno but you'll be the first to know." She giggles sleepily, the hand rubbing her back starting to lull her to sleep. Morgan smiles to himself, his free hand wrapping around the one against his chest as his girlfriend dozes off, humming softly while she cozies herself up under his arm, her head on his chest.

Haley wakes first and decides to surprise Morgan with breakfast in bed. She makes them a cute plate of eggs and bacon with home fries before heading upstairs to his bedroom. "Mornin'." She says in a soft, cheery tone.
Morgan stirs, slowly opening his eyes. "Hey." He smiles, stretching his legs out before he reaches out to grab her hand, pulling her on top of him. "I kinda missed you."
She chuckles and rolls her eyes, her bottom lip tucked between her teeth as she straddles his hips. She gives him a look when she feels his bulge pressing against the confinement of his boxers. Haley sets the plate off to the side before she leans down and kisses him slowly. He moans softly, reaching up to push her messy hair out of her face, deepening the kiss by tenfold. His hands creep up the thin tank top she's wearing, settling on her breasts as she tugs her top off, leaving her in just a pair of boy short panties.
Soon, Haley's on her back with her ankle hitched up on Morgan's shoulder, the two moaning loudly together.
***
"Are you sure you gotta go?" Morgan asks quietly, crossing his ankles while his legs are out stretched on the bed in front of him, a guitar in his arms.
"Yeah." Haley sighs back, leaning up with her chin propped on her elbow as she lays on her front. "But you better come back and visit me."

"You know it, baby." He winks before his face turns sad. Morgan silently pulls her against him, holding her against his chest. "It sucks you gotta go."
"I know." She clears her throat, nuzzling her cheek against his bare chest, tears threatening to form in her throat before she moves off to the side. They lay a comfortable silence, Morgan's soft guitar playing filling the room.

"What's buggin' you, girl?" Caleigh asks the following Wednesday night.
"I just got back from-"
"She spent the week with Morgan." Michael cuts her off, giggling to himself.
"Ooh." Caleigh shoots her a smirk. "How was that?" She waggles her perfect eyebrows at her, a childish grin on her face.
"Really great." Haley blushes, looking down at the counter. "I kinda miss 'em."
"Aw!" Caleigh coos, laughing at her reaction; a playful middle finger. "How long has it been since you've last talked to him?"
"Yesterday maybe?" She shrugs. "Y'know, I've been in relationships before but the way he treated me- I've never felt that before."
"That better be a good thing or I'll beat-"
"Hey, c'mon now." Haley chuckles, cutting Michael off. "He's such a genuine, down-home boy and being back in a small town made me miss home- I dunno."
"How long since you've been home?"
"Too long." She leans on her elbows. "Miss my momma and 'em." She runs her hand through her blonde-ish hair. "That settles it." She smacks her hands on the counter. "Randy!" She shouts for her boss, disappearing down a hallway.
"Morgan told me they're official." Michael mumbles to Caleigh.
"He told me he's never felt like this with another girl before." Caleigh replies, grinning as she folds her hands together. "Awe."
"A month from now, I'm goin' home." Haley smiles, returning to the couple. "What?"
"Nothin', baby." Michael beams, his arm around his girlfriend. "C'mon, we gotta get goin'."
"Night, y'all." Haley waves as they head outside. She sighs quietly to herself, cleaning up their glasses and empty bottles, trying to make the night go faster by preoccupying her hands.
***
Haley jumps, visibly tensing when a pair of hands cover her eyes. "Guess who?" A comforting voice says, a smile hinting in his goofy tone.
"Uh." She drops her rag, reaching up to run her hand over the man's hand that's covering her eyes. "Uh..." She trails off into a nervous giggle. "The cold clammy hands of death?"

"No, it's me!" Morgan spins her around and she's met with his silly smile.
"Oh my god!" Haley squeals, wrapping her arms around his neck in a tight hug. He returns the gesture with his own around her waist, his face buried in her neck, inhaling deeply. "When did you get here?"
"Just now." He says, sliding his hands to hers from her elbows. "Man, you're even more beautiful than I remember." She rolls her eyes as she blushes.
She lets out another squeal as she bounces on the balls of her feet, wrapping her arms around him again. "I get off in a couple hours, okay? We- we can talk then!" She shouts as she heads behind the bar, a smile stuck to her face for the rest of her shift.
Morgan decides to swing by a pizza place to pick up some food for them then he heads to her place.
"Hey!" Haley giggles, jumping into her boyfriends arms, her limbs wrapping around his neck, shoulders and waist. "I missed you."
"I missed you too, baby." He laughs back, holding her tightly in his strong arms in the middle of her kitchen.
"What're you doin' here?"
"I wanted you to be the first to know, I got signed to a label."
"Get outta here!" She squeaks, dropping to her feet. "Congrats!" She turns to her liquor cabinet, grabbing a bottle of whiskey and two shot glasses.
Morgan grabs her jaw and kisses her deeply, pressing her against the counter as his other hand brings her leg over his hip. Haley hoists herself up on the counter, grabbing him by the front of his shirt to pull him closer, tilting her head back as he starts pressing wet kisses to her neck. Morgan quickly moves them to her bedroom, his lips never leaving her skin.
***
Morgan's been busy moving into his new house in Nashville. He's incredibly sad about leaving Sneedville but, his sister bought the East Tennessee house from him. Haley's been keeping him company since and he's falling even more in love with her.
Speaking of Haley, she's sitting on the floor, watching him carefully put his guitars away. "I've always wanted to learn how to play."
Morgan turns to her with a small smile. "I can try to teach you. I ain't the best teacher but I can try."
"You'd do that?" She asks, scooting over to run her hand through his hair and down his neck to his chest. "For me?"
"Yea- yeah, I can." He clears his throat, his eyes fluttering closed.
Haley pulls away with a small giggle, sitting against the foot of the bed. "This is my baby." He says as he picks up his matte black acoustic and hands it to her. She rolls her eyes playfully, crossing her long legs. "Okay, put your first finger here, second one here and your third one there." She does and hits the chord. "That's a G."
She hits it again before suddenly moving to an F then a C. "Woah- what!?" Morgan's eyes go wide. "You- I thought you couldn't- you said-"
"Yeah, I lied. I just wanted your attention."
Morgan laughs, shaking his head. "You're somethin' else." He stands.
"I'm bored." She sighs somewhat childishly. "You're boring me, Morgan."
"Ouch!" He says, turning to look down at her. "Man, that hurt." He chuckles as her phone starts going off.
"Shit." She mumbles when she sees who's calling her, shaking her head. "Scuse me." She makes her way to the back porch, sighing heavily as she answers. "Hello?"
"I found some of your stuff, it's on the porch if you want it." Haley's ex-boyfriend, Matt, grumbles into the phone. "Sorry it's taken me so long, I just moved."
"Yeah, okay." She runs her hand through her hair. "Thanks. I'll pick it up soon." He tells her his new address then hangs up. "Great."
"Everything okay?" Morgan asks, handing her a cup of coffee before rubbing her back.
"Yeah, my ex has some of my stuff for me on his porch that I gotta pick up."
"Your ex- the one from like two years ago?" She nods. "Why did it take him so long?"
"Said he was busy movin'." She chuckles, looking down at the dark liquid filled mug. "Asshole."
"What-uh- happened between y'all?"
"He cheated on me when he was on tour and that was the final straw." She sighs. "On top of him making me feel like shit; said he got drunk and fucked a girl on the road then lied about it."
"Who is this?"
"My ex, Matt Stell."

Rise of the First Necromancer
Asrael Nessarat awakes on a sandy dune with a mouthful of sand and nothing but tattered rags in his posession. As the High Magus of the school of Necromancy, he once aspired to prove to the Emperor that magic still held a place in their society. But that day came, passed and inevitably accelerated his kind's downfall. Now; they are hunted, strung up and burned on pyres throughout the Empire by the Emperor's holy Inquisition- an efficient and ruthless army hell-bent on bleeding every last droplet of magic from the lands. With nothing but a mouthful of sand and tattered rags; Asrael is determined to seek the one thing his cold, still heart desires. Vengeance. This story can, at times, get very dark. It is not recommended for the faint of heart. This is not a story of an overtly powerful wizard who can pulverize his enemies from across the world, nor is it in any way, shape or form a joyous tale. We follow Asrael as he and his companions explore and seek to change an unjust world, where kindness and acceptance are exceptions, rather than the rule. If you are looking for a story to inspire hope or joy, this is not it. If you wish to read about likeable, heroic people, turn around. If you wish to see good battle evil, where the cut in between is clear, then this is not for you.

The Heretic Legion
Cover Art: Undead Master by Changling Assassin. Located at: http://fav.me/dbm60ex Used under license Creative Commons attribution non-commercial 3.0 per bottom right of the linked page. Summary: Just the story of a necromancer and his eventual army. Currently, the only major thing of note is a pretty fleshed out magic system. No set list of spells or specific incantations. Just rules similar to the laws of physics, within those laws you can do whatever is possible. Updates: I work Sunday thru Wednesday and updates tend to revolve around my scheduled days off. Currently, I release content as I feel it's ready for release because that's what I myself would prefer from an author. Warnings: This story is graphic. blood/necromancy magic that requires self-harm to use. explicit descriptions of sexuality. (though fairly tame outside of the marked chapters, at least compared to said chapters) and is generally darker in tone. If you're concerned you might start to read only to be turned off by these elements. See 7. Teetering on the Edge for an example of the graphic nature of violence or 9. Explicit Content for a fairly self-contained example of the most explicit of the sexual content.

Four story anthology
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] [participant in #NaNoWriMo] Preface: This fiction will contain four different stories set up as a challenge for myself and to get better at writing. The challenge for royal road writathon is a 55.555 word goal while the nanowrimo challenge is 50.000 words. Reader suggestions is turned on, feel free to point out errors I missed and I'll fix them up! Chasing sun, napping softly: Cultivation/Xianxia genre. Some parts will poke at the ridiculousness of the Xianxia gerne. We follow the life of a magical fox monster, who doesn't like how the cultivation world works. Said beast seems to have more knowledge than is usual for normal magical beasts. In it's infinite wisdom it decided to search for the main character of the cultivation world to have a cozy and safe place beside him. Our fox will act as a "wise beast" to coast along on the main characters rise to greatness, all for peace, happiness and that amazing napping spot in the sun. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing in first person. Comedic effect between talking vaguely and sounding wise. The cost of heroism: A story more centered around fights and mental health of hired mercenaries/heroes. The world is infected with an eldritch corruption. Humans are trying their best to explore and clear out wilderness and the dungeons hiding in them to establish new cities. Lords seek for hired hands to do the professional work. Thanks to the setting, the story will show how awful pasts are the norm and how pragmatic people became thanks to that. People exchange their sanity for riches, fame and gods acceptance. Interpersonal relationships change drastically and quickly. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing grim scenes/imparting a feeling of how grim the world is. Writing fight scenes. Showing different mental states. Describing their influence on people during fights, walks or even after successful or failed campaigns. Who will be the next powerhouse? : A story about a gaming show, it's host Staan and the different participants. Stereotype characters, stereotype backstories, silly challenges and quizzes. The winner of those challenges gets powerups for their power system. Be it magic, ki, psychic power or anything else imaginable and unimaginable to reach the power of gods. The challenges for myself with this story: A softer tone for storytelling. Making the reader smile and enjoy themselves. A different try at slice of life story. I was left behind on earth as my family conquered another world and enjoys riches, but that's okey because I got a cheat too! : Stereotypical Isekai story parody twisted into an Urban Fantasy story. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing over the top and overdramatic scenarios/scenes Writing in first person. Walking into stereotypical scenarios and making them more dramatic/giving them a twist. Different type of humor.

Knights of the Partition
We like to think there are no monsters. No magic, no gods, nothing waiting in the night but the stars and cold, hard science. It’s a comforting thought. It isn't true. Magic isn't common, mind you. Working forces is difficult in the Age of Man, and gods are limited in the ways they interact with the world. The great monsters of old have mostly been slain, or sealed away. But rare or not, the magic isn't gone. The great Working that protects us from the horrors of the past does not have the power to destroy such things. Instead, it created the Partition, a tapestry of worlds beyond the boundary of our own. There the magic roams, searching for a way to come back. I am a Knight of Avalon. One of the protectors of the Partition. How did I get this job? Poor decisions, mostly.
