《Free Bird - Morgan Wallen》Thirty

"I don't remember feeling this bitchy with Johnny." Dani huffs, wiping her face free from angry tears. "But, fuck, Morgan you can't leave your fucking boots here."
"It's never been a problem before, babe." Morgan says softly from the couch. "Chill out."
His face drops as Dani gives him a fuming look. "What." Her voice is low as she clenches her jaw.
"I- Shit." He runs his hand through his buzzed hair. "Son of a bitch. I'm sorry, Ella. I didn't mean it like that." He says, scrambling to his feet to follow her to the kitchen. "I'm sorry." Dani whimpers and nods, wiping her eyes again. "C'mere." She nods again and drops her head against his shoulder as he holds her close.
"Man this sucks." She exhales heavily.
"Three months left of this then we'll have our babygirl." He puts his hand on her baby bump. "We can get through this okay?" She nods again, sighing.
"Sorry." He cups her cheeks, running his thumb over her flushed skin before leaning in to kiss her. "Three more months."
"That's right, baby." He whispers, holding her close to his chest. "Nothing we can't handle. We've done this before and we're doing it again." She takes a deep breath and sighs. "If anyone can do this, it's you."
"Oh fuck off." She laughs weakly, reaching over to play with his fingers. "Thanks."

"Baby Wallen's coming soon!" Caleigh chirps as she helps the boys decorate the nursery. She talked Dani into gray walls and light pink accents. "How many days?"
"Twenty eight." She breathes back, sitting on the small white armchair. "Can't wait."
"What're y'all naming her?" Hardy asks, nodding to Morgan as they set the dresser down.
Dani's silent. "We don't have a name."
"What!? How can you not have a name yet? That's like the best part of having a kid!" Caleigh exclaims with wide eyes.
"I don't know. I guess I've been preoccupied. This pregnancy is so much more difficult than Johnny was." Dani sighs, her hand rubbing her prominent bump. "I've never felt this exhausted before."
"Well, Michael and I'll get outta your hair and let you guys relax." Caleigh picks up her bag and jacket. "Love you guys." The couples wave at each other as they separate.
"How the hell can we not have a name picked out!?" Dani has tears in her eyes. "We're horrible parents!"
"Baby." Morgan helps his wife to her feet and walks her to their bed where Johnny is still asleep. "Like you said, this pregnancy is harder. We've had a lot on our minds so why don't we just brainstorm some names, okay?" Dani nods as she plays with her sons hair. "What're you feelin?"
"I dunno." Morgan sighs, tugging his long sleeve tee off before pulling Johnny onto his lap. "What're you thinkin?"
"I like Louise." She rolls her eyes. "Okay then."
"James?"
"For a girl?"
"Yeah, I mean it's unique." She shrugs, running her hand over her bump. "I like Morgan too."
"Eh, I don't know. I think it might be kinda weird to have two Morgan's here." She nods. "Riley?"
"No." She immediately says. "Absolutely not."
"Casey?" She shrugs. "Hayden?" She shrugs again. "Reese?"
"I don't know." Dani huffs, dropping her head on his shoulder. "James is sticking. Johnny and Jamie sounds cute together."

"Okay. James what then?"
"James Marie?" She smiles. "James Marie."
"James Marie Wallen." Morgan hums, matching her grin. "We got a name for our babygirl."

Morgan and Johnny in the other side of Nashville with Michael for some meeting or something, Daniella was only half listening. She's sitting on a table chair when she feels something familiar roll through her body. "Not now." She mutters. "Seriously?" Dani rolls her eyes as she drops the apple slice she's eating then grabs her phone. Morgan doesn't answer after two tries so she calls Michael.
"Hey baby. What's up?" Hardy asks.
"Where's Morgan? Is he 'round?"
"Uh, yeah. Everythin okay?"
"I couldn't get a hold of him. Can you hand me to em?"
Hardy sighs and whistles at his best friend, handing him the phone. "It's your wife."
"Shit. Hey, sorry I was talking to- it don't matter. You alright?"
"I think you should come home now." She tries to say calmly as another contraction hits.
"Yeah sure I'm on my way now. What's wrong?" Morgan nods to Michael who follows him out to the lot.
"I'm- Well, I'm having the baby." Dani says, gripping the counter top. "Just come on home now, okay? Carefully."
"What!? Fuck! Okay- shit!" Morgan turns the key in the ignition but nothing happens. "No, no, no. Not here, not now! Shit."
"What's wrong?" She breathes sharply as she steps into a pair of sneakers, slinging her purse and a small duffle over her shoulder. "Y'know what? I'm gonna let you go. Just meet me at the hospital, alright? I love you."
"Fuck, fuck, fuck! Okay. I love you too." Morgan groans as he tries again, slamming his hands against the wheel. "God-motherfuckin- dammit!" He tosses the phone back at Michael before rushing to the hood as smoke rolls out. "Son of a bitch!" Tears spring to his blue eyes; his wife is in labor and she's alone.
Dani calmly calls Caleigh to let her know what's going on and to ask for a ride to the hospital. She quickly agrees and rushes next door to pick up her best friend. "How are you so chill right now?" She asks, glancing back at Dani. "Why am I freaking out more than you?"
"I don't know, y'know?" Dani exhales, fanning herself. "The boys are gonna meet us there. Thanks for drivin'." She slides out of her car and walks herself to the receptionist. "Hey I'm Daniella Wallen and I'm having a baby."
"O-okay." Caleigh appears next to her with her bag. "I have some paperwork that needs filled out." She hands the clipboard to her best friend then helps the woman in labor to a room.
"Hey baby, what's up?" Hardy asks as he answers Caleigh's phone call.
"I'm at the hospital with Dani and I have to fill out the paper work and I don't know the majority of it."
Hardy chuckles. "What do you need to know?" She rattles off a bunch of questions. "Y'know Morgan's with me." He passes the phone to the man that's freaking out. Morgan answers the questions as Michael drives them to the hospital.
The father nearly leaps out of the truck and rushes into the building. "My wife is in labor. Where is she? Wallen- Daniella Wallen." The receptionist tells him, sending him on his way.
He runs to his wife, sliding past the door at first before bursting into the room. He's partially relieved he didn't miss the birth of his daughter but also kinda worked up that he has to watch his wife be in pain with nothing he can do about it.

Dani's in tears as she's taking deep breaths. She grabs a hold of Morgan's jacket and pulls him down next to her, gripping the fabric tight as she groans through another contraction. "Your fuckin fault, Wallen." She clenches her jaw, moving her grip to his bicep.
Morgan cries out but quickly bites his lip when he gets a dirty look from the midwife. "You're doing great, Ella." He says, wiping her face off with a nearby towel. "You're doing so fucking great." The midwife tells her to push again. Morgan keeps his eyes trained on the wall behind her, his head spinning. She tells her to do it again and Dani whimpers in response, shaking her head as she grips Morgan's hand tight.
"C'mon baby, just one more time." She says and Daniella does so; a sharp piercing cry soon filling the room.
Dani cries out again, collapsing against the uncomfortable hospital bed as she tries to catch her breath. Morgan has tears of his own in his eyes as he kisses his wife's forehead, stroking her sweaty mess of hair. "You fucking did it, Ella."
"Shut up, Wallen." She breathes, coughing out a sob. The nurse hands the fresh infant to her mother then starts cleaning things up. "Are you sure about James?"
"What're you feelin?"
"She's not a James." She whimpers, looking at the pink newborn in her arms, her fingers brushing over the hint of soft brown hair sprouting from the top of her head. "That's not her name."
"Annalise?" Morgan suggests as he pulls up a chair next to his wife.
"No." She sniffles. She stops her tears as she gives her daughter a once over. "Josephine."
"Josephine." He repeats. "Josephine what?"
"We could do a 'T' middle name like we do for Johnny. Or we could use Cole for you."
"What was your dad's middle name?"
"Lewis, that's how I got Louise." She adjusts the infant gently. "Why the fuck is this so hard?"
"Because y'all're over thinkin it." Hardy says from the doorway. "Josephine is nice."
"She's beautiful." Caleigh smiles, Johnathan on her hip. "Congrats, you guys."
"Thanks."
A nurse comes in. "Are y'all alright if we take the little Miss to the nursery?" Dani glances at Morgan before nodding. "Alrighty." Soon their daughter is rolled out of the room.
"Decide on a name yet?" Caleigh asks, sitting at the foot of the bed with Michael standing behind her, playing with her hair. "Josephine is beautiful."
"We have Louise, Cole, or Marie." Dani sighs, wiping her tears away. "And I like all of them so I don't care."
"Cole." Michael nods.
"Marie." Caleigh says.
"Louise." Morgan smiles.
The three look at each other then over at the misty eyed woman in the hospital bed. She whimpers in response. "Y'all..." The trio start bickering between each other as Dani shakes her head. "Marie is out. It's startin to bother me."
"So Louise or Cole- ah shit." Michael smiles as he shakes his head. "It's down between y'all's middle names?"
"Just say them out loud and see what you think." Caleigh suggests. "Josephine Louise. Josephine Cole." Morgan and Daniella share a look.
"Louise sounds nice." Morgan whispers. "I like Louise."
"Cole sounds badass though." Michael says, cleaning the lenses of his glasses with his t-shirt.
"Fuck." Dani breathes out, wincing as she adjusts herself. "I like Cole."
"Cole it is."

Daniella is absolutely exhausted. Between her two children and Morgan being cooped up at the studio, she's been running the house. Johnny's been keeping Dani busy with being his fathers son; ornery as fuck while Josephine's been pretty laid back.
Currently, Daniella is bouncing her one year old on her hip, cooking up some dinner, while her oldest is messing with a couple Tonka Trucks on the kitchen floor around her feet. Jo has one hand in her mouth with the other playing with her mother's hair. The door opens and Morgan's finally home from a ten hour day at the studio. His tired face breaks into a huge grin when he sees his family waiting for him in the kitchen. "Smells wonderful, baby." Johnny squeals at the sound of his fathers voice, abandoning the trucks beneath his mother feet to greet him. Morgan laughs as he lifts his son to wrap him in a hug. He leans over and kisses his wife on the cheek.
"How was the thing?" Dani asks, her voice quiet and tired.
"It was fine." He sighs, leaning back against the counter with a beer in one hand. "How's things 'round here?"
"This boy-"
"Oh jeez."
"This boy is one hundred percent your son." Dani rubs her eye with her free hand before sitting Jo in her high chair.
She finally meets her husbands tired eyes with her own dark ones. "Let me take over, go take a shower or somethin."
"N-no- Morgan-" She sighs as he snags the wooden spoon from her hand. "I'm fine, hun." Morgan cups the side of her face, giving her a faint smile when he sees tired tears in her eyes.
"You need to relax." He whispers, swiping his thumb across her tear stained cheeks. "Take a bath or- or a nap or somethin."
"No I'm fine." She gives him a smile. "But I'm gonna take a shower because I want to." She leans over and gives her husband a kiss before turning to take a long, hot, relaxing shower.
+++
Caleigh and Michael offered to watch the kids for a long weekend so Morgan and Dani can reconnect for that spark they had lost since they've had children. Morgan whisked Daniella away to a cabin in Townsend, Tennessee; three hours east of Nashville, an hour southeast of Knoxville.
"This is so nice, babe." Dani says sleepily from the bed. "Mmm." Morgan glances over at his wife from his spot at the window. She's already fast asleep. He slides in under the thick plaid comforter, his arm tight around her middle. She stirs and smiles, her fingers wrapping around his as they cuddle and sleep together, undisturbed for the first time in a long time.
A couple hours pass and Dani wakes first. She bites her lip as she looks over her sleeping husband, her hand trailing from his chest down below the sheets to his hip, her fingers walking across the waistband of his boxers. He hums, inhaling deeply before yawning himself awake. "Mmm- hey." He breathes, a small smirk crawling his way to his pretty lips. "Y'know we are totally unsupervised."
"What're you sayin', Wallen?" Dani smiles back, tucking her long hair behind her ear. "You gonna fuck me?"
Morgan chuckles sleepily, pulling his beautiful wife on top of him, his hands sliding to her hips. "You gonna behave?" Dani rolls her eyes, leaning on her elbows to brush some of his long hair out of his eyes. "What?"
"You're somethin else." She mumbles, brushing her thumb across his cheek. "This is so nice."
"Like we're back in high school, huh?"
"Oh baby, we're way outta high school." She suddenly gets up and heads to the small kitchenette, returning with a bottle of Ole Smoky Peanut Butter Whiskey and a huge grin. She bounces back onto the bed, cracking the bottle open. Dani takes a couple swallows before coughing slightly. "Holy fuck, I haven't drank anything this strong since before Johnny." She forces out. "Woah. That'll hit cha like a ton of bricks."
Morgan smiles as he takes a swig from the bottle. "That's good shit." He pops the cap back on before sharing a look with his wife. They suddenly grab each other, kissing hotly with hands groping and roaming over their bodies. She lets out a soft moan as he tugs the shirt she stole from him off her body, his lips never leaving her neck. "You are so fuckin beautiful." He breathes, sitting back to guide her onto his lap. "Y'know I still can't believe that I married you."
"Shut up and fuck me."
+++
Morgan bites his lip as he watches his wife throw together a big meal for their family; his parents and sisters along with Caleigh and Michael. Dani has a cigarette between her lips as she's looking down at a hot skillet. "I haven't seen you light up in three years."
"I'm a little frazzled." She mumbles back, smoke lacing with her words. "Stressed- I'm stressed." She drops the spatula onto a plate and pushes her mess of hair back out of her face. She throws her blonde locks into a shitty bun, exhaling a cloud of smoke, waving it away. "Can you turn the fan on? I don't want the kids inhalin' this shit." Morgan nods, pushing the window over the sink open after flipping the switch. "Holy shit." She leans over and taps the ash into the trash can before turning to the oven to take the dish of cornbread out. "Set the table."
"You got it, momma." He winks, doing as he's told.
Suddenly, there's tiny hands grabbing onto her jeans. Dani looks down, quickly drops her cigarette into the water filled sink and grins at her oldest, picking him up. "John Tom." She wiggles her nose against his hugging him close. Morgan hands her an old fashioned peppermint candy to help hide her cigarette breath. She winks at him, popping the sweet into her mouth before turning back to the stove. "Dinner is ready! Come and eat y'all!"
Morgan takes his boy off his wife's hands so she can finish setting the table up for their guests.
"Smells great, Dani." Michael grins, Josephine on his hip.
Everyone sits at the table, lively conversations fill the dining room. Dani smiles to herself as she looks at the guests, her heart swelling with love and happiness. Morgan reaches over and gives her hand a squeeze, knowing she finally feels like she has a family again- finally feels like she belongs. Johnny is with his grandfather while Josephine is on Caleigh's lap.
Dani created her own family with her high school sweetheart. She watches Michael joke around with Morgan while one of his sisters talk with their mother. Daniella looks over at her husband with teary eyes. "I love you." She whispers, that beautiful grin never leaving her face.
"I love you too, Ella." Morgan responds, leaning over to press a kiss to his wife's temple. "I love you, too."

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14

Heart of Cultivation
Book one is now available for purchase or download through Kindle Unlimited! Jian was a prodigy, at least until he discovered that his path of cultivation had hit a dead end almost as soon as it began. That was all years ago, though. He has long since resigned himself to his fate and prepared himself for a dull, ordinary, but happy life. Stunted cultivation or no, he's clever enough to carve out his own comfortable niche. Unfortunately, not all of the matters from his past have been settled. When a reckless mistake threatens to cost him everything, Jian will have to prove that he's desperate enough to rise to the occasion. Or that he's capable of avoiding the consequences. This is an affectionate reconstruction of the xianxia genre. I will be deploying the tropes from the genre that I enjoy in a framework that I think makes sense. The story updates on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and sometimes other days.

Rise of an Undead in a Fantasy World
Have you ever wondered what would happen if an undead being that doesn't know what it is like to be alive got free will? What would that undead creature do? How would they think? How would they view the world around them? Would they see life as futile and conquer the world, making it a lifeless danger zone to all living beings? Well, none of that matters, because that's not happening. Our main character is your average gamer from the modern world, yada yada yada... gets transported to a fantasy world through obscure means, blah blah blah... you know how this works. What separates him from the masses, however, are his views on ethics, and world politics. ... Oh, and the fact that he doesn't need to breathe. Message From Author! Accept?: Yes No This is only my second novel, so keep that in mind. I will try to keep the quality of the story to an acceptable level. This means something that I, myself would read. The quantity, however, may put some people off. Adding onto the whole "villainous lead" thing, I will make sure to have the character develop into that perfect little villain over time, instead of starting him out as a bloodthirsty murder-hobo. Of course, there will still be a lot of murdering and he may be a hobo for some of it, but it will mostly not be out of malice in the very early chapters. Last but not least, I have decided there will not be a defined release schedule for this, as I have lost interest in forcing myself to upload x amount of times a week. I will upload whenever I get a good idea, and take my time. That is, if I even feel like writing in the first place. Instead of taking breaks from this novel to do my own thing, I will take breaks from my daily life to post on here. Also, I'm lazy. Thanks for reading, and if you're alright with everything above, feel free to give it a read, and without further ado, have a good one! - Your Author P.S.: I will have little to no romance in the story, as I can't bring myself to writing it, so you don't have to worry about harems.

Chains
Eric Bane is one tough thug, but even he's not immortal. After a deadly ambush, he falls unconscious only to awaken in a castle preparing to meet a king. He was apparently summoned to a parallel world of fantasy to act as a hero who wields one of six Divine Weapons. However, being unfamiliar with video games, he doesn't see the new world the same way the other five do. After being framed for rape, Eric ends up hobbling out of the city with no money, no party, and draining motivation. However, if there's one thing that Samson is good at, it's spite. If the world is going to kick him to the curb, then he's going to beat the shit out of the next person he sees to get back on track. As Eric grows stronger through a natural progression, he slowly discovers the hidden history of the world and the dark secrets of the Church of the Trinity. And while some might wait for the right moment to strike, Samson isn't one for patience. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> This is a story that I've already gotten pretty far with, but I want to release it slowly over a few days to see what the critics say. I haven't finished it, but I've got a general idea where I want to go with it. Maturity for violence, sexual themes, and slavery. No outright sex or nudity, and there is no cruelty exhibited towards slaves. Tell me how you like it.
