《GAMMA COLE & THE SILVER WOLF》PART 29 - FOUND YOU

"Where is she?" Roars a voice that sends fear straight to my soul.
I struggle against binds that have my wrists tied tightly together, but it's no good, the wolfsbane poison from the dart is still circulating through my veins, I can barely feel my wolf let alone even lift my head from the cold cell floor. My head is covered so I can see nothing, but I can hear loud footsteps storm into the cells before a nearby door is unlocked and swung open. I hear shuffling and a woman voice sob out close by.
"No, not fucking her!" Roars the voice once more as tears spring from my eyes and my heart starts to race faster. "The Silver, I want the fucking Silver you took down." Bellows Jay's. His voice unmistakable even in the darkness.
I hear a heavy thud as the woman whimpers from being thrown back to the floor, then more clinking and clanking before my cell door is unlocked and thrown open. I'm yanked to my feet but can't stand from the effects of the dart so I'm slumped helplessly against the guard. Before I know what's happening the guard pulls off my hood abruptly and I come face to face to Jay whose eyes grow wide as soon as he confirms that it's me.
"Baby, I've found you." Jay whispers as if mesmerized by me.
All the air in my lungs vanish, I'm desperate to fight back but my body just won't function. The wolfsbane numbing every part of my body apart from my heart that shatters at the sight of seeing Jay. Jay gently wipes a tear from my face, but more spring forth and roll down my cheek as I shudder at his touch. His greedy fingertip runs down to my lips where there's a deep cut from being backhanded by one of the guards when I tried to escape with Lady Allannah.
"You marked her face?" Jay growls, his eyes dart to the guard holding me up.
"She put up a hell of a fight sir, she took out nearly a dozen men. She got what was coming to her." Grumbles the guard from behind me making me grimace.
In one quick movement Jays wolf eyes rage with fury, he pulls me into his arms and picks me up in a bridal position as he snarls at the guard. The next thing I know Jay spins us around and exits the cell, before kicking the door behind closed locking the guard inside.

"Kill him." Jay seethes to another guard.
My head spins even more from all the fast movements and I close my eyes try to stay conscious and focused but all I feel is nauseous. From behind me I hear the guard pleading for his life until there is an ear splintering scream as Jay strides away with me in his arms. My eyes flutter open as I pass another cell and see Lady Allannah curled up in the corner. Her once beautiful blonde hair matted and dirty.
"Chloe!" Allannah cries out to me as a pass by, but I can't do anything as I lie limp and lifelessly in Jay's arms. My heart winces, I've failed to protect her, there was just too many of them.
"Chloe huh? You have been a bad little wolf." Jay mutters to me as he keeps on walking past more cells. My eyes are so heavy now, I can barely keep them open. My head slumps to the side involuntarily against Jays chest and I hear him growl with satisfaction making bile rise in my stomach.
"Did you kill my father? Please tell me! Is my father dead." Screams Allannah from somewhere in the distance behind us. Jay comes to a halt and slightly turns to look at her if bored.
"Yes. You and your pack are now mine." Jay replies coldly before he turns away and continues down the hallway as I hear Allannah sob out loudly from her cell.
"Don't be jealous baby. Allannah is just a means to an end. You'll be the one who'll be in my bed each night." Jay says to me seriously, the shadows from the darkened cell block making him look even more terrifying and deadly. I beg to my wolf for help, I scream to her again and again to give me her power, her energy, anything to help me escape but all I hear is her whimper in my head as my eyes finally fall shut and I pass out in Jays arms.
------------
The rain starts slowly at first, the soft pattering of droplets on exposed skin is the only sound that my keen wolf ears can hear. I slowly look to my left and nod at the large group of warriors that are crouching down close to the forest floor awaiting my orders. It's now dusk, all of them have ran flat out to be here from the Grey Crescent pack to fight at mine and Drake side. As soon as they see my nod as a signal, they slowly advance, stealth like and silent. These wolves are the best of the best, brutal, and lethal. Wearing only shorts after they shifted back; each have painted battle artwork onto their torsos from the surrounding mud. Their keen wolf eyes sparkle in the darkness showing the predators they are.

My body is almost humming with electricity from the power my wolf is pumping through my veins. He's out for blood and desperate to tear down the whole of the Red River pack to take back what is ours.
I turn to my right and look over my shoulder towards Drake who is standing as still and as strong as an Oak tree. His heavily tattooed torso and arms exposed to the elements and a large axe in his hand. He's the epitome of what a leader should look like. Unrelenting and savage. I know he want Jay's head, but he needs to get in line. The only one to take down Jay is me.
Oliver pushes his way through the advancing team and comes to crouch at my side. The large bandage across his chest is dotted with red patches as his wolf fights hard to heel the huge slice to his abdomen.
"You're supposed to be sitting this one out. Lucas will have my head if I let you go in there." I quietly scold him.
"Lady Allannah's safety was my mission. I need to help get her back." Oliver winces as he crouches next to me.
I turn to look at him, planting a hand on his shoulder. "No one blames you, Oliver. I've seen the tracks and the damage to the convoy vehicles. There was nothing more you could've done. There was too many of them to fight off. You and what's left of team are lucky to be alive."
Oliver's jaw tenses before he nods begrudgingly. We both then turn to watch my team that is quietly advancing towards the bottom of the large stone bridge that on the edge of the forest, it's almost time for me to follow with the second team.
"Luke is in position at the front gate ready to create the diversion. Are you sure this will work?" Oliver says quietly.
I nod. "I trust Alpha Drake, when he was staying at the Red River pack for two weeks training their warriors, Lady Allannah showed him this secret passage to get onto their pack lands. There's no way Jay knows about it."
Oliver nods with approval. "So that slippery bastard thinks he's safe held up in the packhouse now he's got the Alphas daughter captive. Let's go get that fucking prick. He slaughtered half my team, I've a score to settle"
"I need you here, keeping an eye out for patrols." I say firmly.
"Bullshit." Oliver seethes. "You think I'm not up to it, just like Lucas doesn't." He growls.
My wolf starts to pace in my head, he's desperate for me to get into Red River so I can track down our mate.
"Oliver, you're one of the best warriors I know. If things go south in there, I need to know I've got back up. Jay will not survive the night, that's a promise." I growl.
Oliver sighs before standing down and taking a seat on a nearby log to watch for patrols. Before I leave, he grabs my arm making me look back at him.
"I know about Alice and what she means to you. Lucas told me how you've been looking for her. She means a lot to me too, she's like my little sister. Make sure bring her home safely, will you?" Oliver says sincerely.
His words take me off guard. I swallow the lump in my throat before taking a deep breath.
"Alice is my soulmate. I won't lose her again."

Maybe it would have been a good idea not to wish for a harem? Completed
Mackay and Seff were two typical high school boys, happily making grandiose fantasies about their future relationships with girls. Of course, in reality, neither knew a single girl to even talk to, let alone do anything more. So, one day, in one of their reality free discussions, they each made a wish for a harem. They got their wishes. Sort of... Things get complicated. Very complicated. They may come to regret their wishes. Oh, they also get mixed up with at bit of a police procedural. This story has multiple characters and multiple Points of View. Every POV change is clearly marked with a new header. Inside each POV section, the POV character’s thoughts are in italics. This fiction is fully written and proof read (that is, a poor man’s proof read with the help of Word). It comes to about 90,000 words (about 330 RoyalRoad pages). It will be published in 19 chapters, roughly one chapter per day. Reviews and comments are much appreciated. And if you actually read all the way to the end, I will be extremely grateful if you could post a comment saying so. After all, the whole point of me publishing this is to share the story with at least one other person, and to know about it. And, yes, I don’t have any graphic artist skills. How did you guess?
