"You're cornered now, pretty boy. We don't want to hurt you, we just want everything in your wallet, and maybe a couple of your limbs for extra cash.. "
"G-get lost! I w-won't hand it over.." I shakily mumbled.
The knife in these gang members hands were intimidating, and it was only getting worse as they approached me.
I held my bag close to me, to protect my wallet from these criminals.
As the group of criminals got closer, I screamed the first thing that came into my mind.
"Fuck off!" I cried, feeling tears burst from my eyes.
Something in my bag was shaking, and suddenly my vision was blurred with a bright beam of light.
"Who the fuck dare disturb me from my nap?!" A tall male with (seme hair colour) locks and (seme eye colour) orbs shouted, looking around and casting a piercing gaze at the gang members.
"What are you looking at?!"
Right after the mysterious man had said those words, the gang ran away, scared shitless of the mysterious man who had appeared.
The tall male turned around to stare at me, which made me a lot more worried.
Where did he even come from? I thought, observing the tall male.
"Did I do something?" the mysterious male asked, turning to look at me with a clueless expression.
I let out a relived sigh and fell to the ground.
"I'm never taking a shortcut home again.."
"Wait, where is this?" The male asked, taking a seat next to me.
I quickly explained my situation to him.
"Where the hell did you come from," I asked after finishing my brief explanation.
"Oh, I came from the marble in your bag," He simply said, reaching in and pulling out a shiny (marble colour) marble.
"You said the words that were needed to wake me from my sleep."

".. Fuck off?"
"Yeah, that. Anyways, I'm the spirit that lives inside of the marble."
I couldn't believe my eyes, but he had warmth when touched, and was solid and firm.
"Get back in the marble please."
"Can't," He said simply.
"Why not?"
"There's a certian amount of time I have to wait before I can go back in. About two months."
"Oh.. You don't have anywhere to go either.." I mumbled in frustration.
"You're not going to take me with you?" The mysterious male asked, staring intently at me.
I swallowed nervously, but really couldn't think of a way to reject him.
"You'll go back after two months, right?"
"I won't bother you again after if you don't want me to."
"Alright, you can live at my place then. But you have to do a part of the chores and help out."
The mysterious male hummed in agreement.
"Name's (Y/n), what's yours?"
"(U/n), nice to meet you, (Y/n)."
"Hey, what's for dinner?" The (seme hair colour) haired male asked, peering over my shoulder as I was stir frying some vegetables.
"You'll know soon," I mumbled, feeling my cheeks heat up.
Over the course of a month and a half, I've grown really attached to (Y/n).
He's been a great companion, and with his help, I finally know what the colour of my flooring is.
"I'll go get some bowls and utensils out then," (Y/n) said before briskly walking away to do that.
I let out a breath I didn't know I had been holding in, and continued to cook.
Everyday was calm and peaceful, and I really didn't want him to go now.
But I didn't know how to say it.
I was thinking about it a lot, and I couldn't find a way to tell him I wanted him to stay.

However, out time together was about to be cut short.
It all happened one day, when (Y/n) and I were coming back from a trip to the grocery store, what I thought was the worst had happened.
The criminals from before had come back, and they had much more reinforcements and weapons.
They had us cornered, in a similar alleyway where no one would be able to see.
"I see we have you trapped again, pretty boy. Might as well surrender now, I'll make your death a little less painful," The gang leader hummed, holding up his blade and advancing forwards.
"What are you doing!?" I panicky whispered to (Y/n) who had protectively gotten in front of me.
"I heal in a few seconds, as long as that spot isn't injured," He whispered in response, keeping his eyes on the villains.
"Just protect yourself," He instructed, before dashing into battle with the seven other people.
I watched, horrified every time he made a move towards the criminals, and my heart was beating uncontrollably now, but he was doing a good job at keeping the gang members away from me.
Every time (Y/n) was stabbed or slashed made me feel like I was the one being cut up, but as (Y/n) said, he really did heal like a monster.
It seemed like an eternity had passed before all the criminals were knocked out on the ground.
"Hah.. Is there any more?" He asked, looking straight at me.
I shook my head, and ran towards the tall male, who had a mix of his and his enemies blood stained on his shirt.
But as I ran, I could see his expression change drastically, as his smirk turned into a frown and he rushed in my direction.
I thought he was going to embrace me in his open arms, but instead of a warm hug, I was met with forceful push, knocking me off to the side.
"What was that f-"
Terror ad fright rushed through my veins as I watched (Y/n) knock out another person and pull a knife right out of the place where his heart was.
He was standing firm despite having blood seep out of the corners of his mouth.
"H-how the fuck do you still stand after a blow to the heart?!" The gang leader cried out as he stood up with wobbly steps.
(Y/n) only smirked and made a 'come at me' motion with his finger.
"Shit.. Retreat!" The gang leader called out, running away in another direction.
The other criminals all got up and dispersed, and soon there was no one in the alleyway but me and the injured male.
As soon as no one was in sight, (Y/n) coughed up what seemed like buckets of blood, staining his shirt even more and had collapsed onto the ground shortly after.
"(Y/n)! What's wrong?" I asked desperately, kneeling next to him and laying his head on my lap.
"Shit... They got me..." He chuckled out weakly.
A warm and salty liquid filled my vision as I shook my head as much as I could.
However, my sight was soon clouded with (marble colour) particles, and my attention snapped back to (Y/n), who had a soft smile around his blood stained lips.
"They got me... At my core... The one place where... I can't regenerate..."
My eyes widened at the fact, and all form of communication shut off for me, as I remained dead silent.
"You... Wanted me... To leave... Right..?" He said with a sad chuckle.
"Looks like... I'll be going earlier... Than expected..."
The tall male's body was starting to fade away, and he became more transparent by the second.
"Good bye... (U/n)..." were his last words to me, before I was left holding nothing at all.
The fact that there wasn't a warmth on my legs made me come back to reality, as I desperately reached for my bag, and pulled out the (marble colour) marble.
It's shine had disappeared, and when I pulled it out of my bag, it had shattered into a million pieces.
Just like my heart.
