It was just another evening. The tv was playing (movie/tv series), and I am cooking for my beloved boyfriend who has not yet returned home.
Although, he did not seem to be hungry when I called hi-
"(Y/N)!!!! I'M STARVING WHAT IS THERE TO EAAAAAAT!!!!!!!" A certain smaller male screeches as he closes the door to our apartment and pounces towards me.
"Oof- Well hun, I'm not done cooking yet so you're going to have to wait a bit alright?" I say, while pushing him out of the kitchen.
Let's just say that if you put (U/n) in the kitchen on an empty stomach, it'll look like a nuclear explosion went off, and the last thing I want to do is clean out the kitchen.
(Work/school) is very tiring, you know?
"Go watch tv or play games, dinner will be ready in an half an hour or so." I informed.
(U/n) didn't seem very happy.
But all he did was pout a bit before heading off to the living room to play some (video game).
After 15 minutes, I felt like someone was watching me from the dining room, and when I turned around, (U/n) was staring at me with a glare that looked like he just murdered everyone in the room and I was next.
"Woah- (U/n)- w-what are you doing, staring at me like... this..." I stuttered as his expression was really really creepy.
"Are... you... done... yet...?" (U/n) said, in a voice deeper than his usual cheerful and happy-go-lucky voice.
"U-um... just 15 more minutes alright dear? Maybe just... you should go... set the table! Yeah, g-go set the table dear and then I'll be close to done, alright?"
I really didn't want to make any false promises about being finished cooking dinner when he finished setting the table, because in this state, I feel like he would murder me for lying to him...

"...Okay (Y/n)..." he sighed as he dragged himself to the dinner table and started to set it for the both of us.
He really seems down... usually he would jump around and talk about his day...
Well dinner will be done in roughly seven minutes...
Hopefully he can last until the seven minutes are don-
"...Is... dinner... close to done... now...?"
*sweat drop*
"B-baby, how about you tell me a-about your day? How was it?"
I really need to find something to keep him distracted for some time... and it doesn't have to be long...
"...Oh ... (work/school)... was horrible... like ... every... other... day... So... are... you done... yet...?"
Someone help me
*sweat drops even more*
"There's only 2 more minutes (U/n)... just wai-"
"I'M...... HUNGRY......" he growls, suddenly lunging towards me and pulling me down by the apron to match his height (yes (U/n) is shorter than you).
"Hurry... up..." he growls in an even lower tone, making me shiver a bit, before letting go of me and making his way to the dinner table.
*ding ding*
"Oh, that the end of the timer~ Finally time to eat~" I call out to (U/n), who looked as if all the life energy has been sucked out of him.
I bring the pot full of (whatever type) stew over to the table and start filling his bowl.
"(U/n), the stew is really hot so you're going to have to blow or wait a bit before eating, okay?"
He didn't respond.
"... I'll feed you then, okay (U/n)?"
Still no response.
"Here-" I say, holding a spoon up to his mouth after blowing a bit.
"Say 'Ahh~'"
He doesn't say it, but he does open his mouth and takes a sip.
"Is it good, my love?"

"...Yes. It's amazing."
Yes! Knew he would like it!
"Here! Take another bite!" I say, with an enthusiastic voice.
He takes another sip, and another, and another.
And very soon, the bowl is empty.
"Whew, would you like another bowl, (U/n)?"
"Yes please!" He says with a smile on his face.
"Alright~ thank goodness you're back to your normal self" I state, pouring some soup from the pot into his bowl.
"Here. It's still a little hot, but you should be okay."
"Thank you!" He says as he takes the bowl from me and eats.
And finally, I'm able to eat as well. And the rest of the evening was lovely as well.
"Was I really that terrifying?" (U/n) asks, shocked that he did all of that.
"Yeah, you looked like a serial killer about to murder its next victim."
I reply to my uke, who is currently sitting in my lap, watching tv.
"Sorry you had to deal with me..." he apologizes, cuddling closer into my embrace.
"It's alright, I mean, you're still going to pay me back, for almost murdering me."
"Wait... what payment?"
"Your nice~ lovely~ body~"
I say in a sadistic tone, while picking him up and carrying my shivering, little uke off to the bedroom for a fun time.

The Mischievous Mrs. Maxfield
***The wrong girl is sometimes The Right One.*** Charlotte Samuels thought she'd be stuck waiting tables at Marlow's until all her debts are paid off-in about ten thousand years or so. She definitely didn't expect a marriage proposal from the arrogant Brandon Maxfield who was blackmailed by his father to make her his wife if he didn't want his least favorite cousin to run Maxfield Industries. Charlotte's instinct was to say HELL NO! but she's stumped by a few obstacles: 1.) His old man Martin Maxfield is dear to her heart and has been recently deteriorating in health. 2.) She gets a million dollars if she stays married to Brandon for a year. 3.) She would rather like the opportunity to teach the attractive but awfully rude man a few lessons he didn't think he needed from a 'teenage gold-digger' which was his term of endearment for her on their first date-er, business meeting. So what's a girl got to do, right? Sure, she's young and a little rough around the edges but there's something her would-be husband didn't know about her yet-she's nothing like he ever expected. Thrust into the glitzy world a standard-issue Mrs. Maxfield would fit perfectly and rule with impeccable social grace, Charlotte will either have to force herself into the mold or break free of it, risking what little she has left for everything that she can gain.*** Copyright © 2014 by Nina Tippett.
