Damon POV:

"No your holding him wrong." I graded kaiden and placed him on my chest.

"See you hold him like this and then you walk around while patting his back."

Nahara roller her eyes.

"Hey now young lady no rolling eyes pay attention."

"Damon it's been weeks since he was born I know how to carry a baby."

"Yea well how do you know ?"

"Well because....... I took baby classes in highschool."

"Did you have to actually hold a baby?"

She had that 'really' look on her face.

"Yea i didn't think so."

I then walked back to nahara handing her kaiden.

"Here .... now I have things to do when I come back I need you both dressed and ready."

"Exactly where are we going?"

"Somewhere."

Nahara pov:

He zipped his lips with his fingers and slowly walked out.

Damon has been acting really strange lately. He himself had hand washed my clothes even offered to massage my feet.

And to top all that off he keep giving me them googly eyes. Everyone left so I really couldn't tell them anything.

Nat left and went back to California something she had to take care of. Riley also left to she started helping my dad fight in the west. Mom , aunt nova and jasper all went on a vacation saying it was much needed hell they even took kinley with them.Talia wanted to spend some time alone in the human world. She was tired of doing the same thing everyday. I don't blame her hell having to babysit Damon 24/7 I'd wanna leave to.

Damon also sent Nina away telling her she needed sometime off to visit her family.

The castle was quiet , I'd be lying if I say I didn't miss everyone.

I left to go change into some actual clothes and not just one of Damon's shirts.

We weren't together and I think we never will. I've accept the fact that Damon didn't love me and only wanted kids. I was okay with it. I'll just now know not to get my feelings involved.

12:34pm

"Where are we going damon we've been driving for hours now."

Damon said he had something to show us being the dummy that I am i followed him. He apologized almost everyday for calling me his property. I don't accept his apology though.

Even though he makes me sleep in his room. I tried countless of times to leave. But he said kaiden. Wasn't leaving his room and I wasn't leaving kaiden so hey.

"Alright we're here."

Damon came around the car opening my door.

"I don't know why we just didn't teleport here."

"Well because,"

He grabbed kaiden from his car seat.

"I wanted to spend some family time together."

Holding Kaiden in my arms Damon gestured we went closer.

"Who's house is this?"

"Yours."

I looked over at damon.

"What?"

"Well you did say you hate bing cramped up in that castle day in and day out so I got you a safe place... everyone should have one. Everyone needs a place they feel comfortable and can relax in. It even has a green house out back.Plus a room where you can hmmm I don't know change into your art studio."

"And the reptile shop?"

"Dang woman can we move at a slow pace at least." He said rolling his eyes in a joking matter.

"Did Damon Lowe just roll his eyes?"

"Yes and I'm ashamed to admit it."

"It's beautiful."

"It use to belong to my mother."

"Yea my dad build it for her. She really did live the human realm so he gave her a house here."

"Look nahara," he turned me around.

"I know we left off on bad terms four months ago. I felt as if you were a distraction. I couldn't take care of my kingdom they way I was supposed to.

After being with you everyday I realized how much of a women you are. Your powerful and brave person your far from being selfish. Your family could have lots their magic and instead you saved them."

My eyes began to water.

"I hate how you chew with your mouth open or when you nag for no reason. How you defy me everyday. Get me out of my character. And I hate how you make me feel when we argue.I'm eternally grateful that you blessed me with a son." He leaned down on one knee.

"Damon... what are you doing?"

He pulled a blue box out his back pocket.

"No damon I-"

"Just shut up....."

he slowly open the carton revealing a ruby ring.

"This ring belonged to the royal family passed down to my father than me."

My chest heaved at the sight. "I can't promise you what happens in the future will be good things but i will tell you this. I promise to protect you for the rest of my life even in death. I will lay down my life for you. My feelings for you will never change. I can't do this without you."

Tears ran down my face.

"W-What about not falling in love with me?"

"Baby I fell for you the moment I saw you in that club."

"Damon-"

"So I'm asking you , Nahara White Walker Will you do me the honor of becoming Mrs.Lowe , Queen of Liaison?"

Shaking my head.

Damon face scrunched up in a confusion.

"Damon I...cant."

He stood up with a clenched jaw.

"Naha-"

"Do you even love me?" I gulped after

asking the one question that been on my mind since the moment he asked me to be his.....

Silence

"Exactly you don't love me so how can you possibly try to propose to someone you don't LOVE..? How Damon?"

"I just admit it that I did."

"No you didn't you expressed your inner feelings for shit the first time ever."

"It's the same thing as saying the actual words."

"No it's not Damon saying it means way much more.How can I be with someone who don't know the difference?"

"What are you saying to me Ana?"

"I'm saying....No."
