《My Death Bed [COMPLETED]》Syngenesophobia

The fear of your own family
"It isn't working. This stuff doesn't work on me." Killua pointed out to the nurse. That's when it hit him, harder than a bus. He knew exactly what was happening now. The dream, the peculiar looking nurse, all the things that were happening. It was all one person causing it. It was the person he hated the most, more than anyone, more than anything and it was his own brother. Illumi Zoldyck was the cause of everything. A look of fear and hatred spread across the silver-haired male's face and suddenly he had to restrain himself from forcing himself out of that uncomfortable hospital bed. The moment the nurse turned around he observed a paltry, yellow coloured needle stuck in the side of her arm. He felt a bit of panic rise in his body and quietly shook his head.
"Killua? Are you okay? What's wrong?" Gon questioned, a look of worry etched across his face. His eyebrows were pulled together in concern and he had a sullen sort of look. Killua threw himself from his thoughts and averted his attention to the brown-eyed boy beside him.
"I'm alright, Gon. It's nothing. My chest just hurts a little." Killua answered the boy, a tiny smile growing on his lips to reassure Gon that he was okay. But he wasn't, he was lying. He was panic-stricken, intimidated, and anxious. He wasn't in the right shape to deal with his brother and he was still recovering from when he was attacked by who knows what. He didn't even know what he was attacked by himself. All he knew was that he could soon be dead and that frightened him to no end. Illumi must've been taking advantage of the situation at hand; he must've known that his young brother was in danger but he didn't know exactly how. He had removed that needle from his forehead a long while ago when the Chimera Ants attacked the NGL. It couldn't be possible that Illumi lodged another one inside his head. Unless, when he went to pick up Alluka. But that couldn't be, Alluka was safe at the apartment he had been renting. Gon had made sure Alluka was safe too, which was what Killua had mostly been worried about. Though if Illumi had placed another needle inside his head then he'd have to remove it if any means necessary. It made complete sense that Illumi was the foundation of everything. The dream too; in the dream he was much like a lifeless puppet of darkness, as Illumi would say. "Gon, can you figure out how long it'll take for these wounds to heal and how long it'll take for me to discharge from this hospital?"

"Ah, yeah. I can do that, I can either ask your nurse or the front desk." Gon answered, giving a short smile. He'd have to leave soon since he was taking care of Alluka for Killua's sake.
"Just ask the front desk." Killua almost immediately replied as if he were panicked about the nurse. He didn't want Gon to go anywhere near anything that had to do with his eldest brother. As far as he knew, the nurse had something to do with him. He'd just have to observe everyone in this hospital to see who's safe or not. If anyone had a single needle in their skin then he'd qualify them as unsafe.
"Hey, Killua. Do you want me to bring Alluka here anytime soon? She really misses you."
"No, do not bring her here. I'd rather her not see me in such pain. Just have her call me." He answered and held up his cellphone. "The nurses don't know I still have this."
Soon enough, another nurse had walked into the room. "I'm looking for.." She paused, holding a clipboard close to her face. "Gon Freecss." She finished and looked up.
"That's me!" The dark-haired boy bounced from his seat. "I'll see you tomorrow Killua!"
"Yeah, see you tomorrow." Killua answered, seeming rather cheerless that Gon had to leave. He peaked over his best friend's shoulder at the nurse, noticing that there was no sign of a needle on her relieved him a great deal.

"Killu, you'll betray your friends eventually. Either that or they'll betray you themselves." A familiar voice rang through his head and he tightly closed his eyes, vigorously shaking his head.
"That isn't true!"
"Or you might kill them, Killu. Why don't you just come home?"
"No! I don't want to kill anymore! I told you that! I'm not going to kill him."

"You'll kill him, Killu."
"No, I won't! He's my best friend!"
"You'll kill him."
"I won't!"
"You will."
"That's not true! I'm not going to kill him!"
"Yes, you are."
"No, I'm not! It's not going to happen, okay?" He shouted through the darkness, his voice echoing within the thick shadows. He made his way through the layer of obscurity to a tiny light that was held in the distance. He figured it was a small room, much like a hospital bedroom but completely empty. The walls smeared with old crimson red, the aroma causing him to cringe. A mirror appeared before him and in the mirror he saw himself. The same frosted hair, the same angular body but something was terribly wrong. His normally light blue eyes were dark and murderous, the nails on the tips of his fingers were sharp, razor-sharp and much ready to kill. Though when he looked down at his hands he saw that the fangs on the tips of his fingers were short instead of sharp. He looked up again and noticed that the mirror was gone but the reflection wasn't. The reflection of himself was incredibly real yet he didn't want to lay a single glance on it. He hated seeing that side of himself. It was ugly and terrifying to look at.
Stood behind him was his very dear and best friend, Gon Freecss. The boy he had known for years now, since he was twelve years old. The boy he had grown to somehow love. The boy he never wanted to lose. He had a smile on his face and held his hand out to the murderous looking reflection but the reflection didn't respond. Not yet, at least. Abruptly, an alabaster boy rushed by himself to the dark-haired boy and blood sprayed across the wall, across the floor, across the ceiling. It scattered onto his own face and dyed tips of his hair crimson. The smell of blood made him gag and the moment he realized what had just happened he began to scream. He pressed towards the body of Gon Freecss which was lying on the bleached floor, losing his breath at a quick pace. Tears began to fall down the light-haired boy's cheeks, like a waterfall. He tried to scream, he tried to speak but something was preventing him from doing so. All he could do was cry. Stood behind him was the reflection, blood covered its fingers like a glove. It had no visible expression whatsoever. It didn't care, it didn't cry. It was built for murder, and murder only.
"That's exactly how it'll happen Killu. You won't be able to control yourself and I'm not going to stop you." The disgustingly familiar voice of his eldest brother cut in once again and Gon's body began to disappear in his arms, the reflection began to disappear and everything around him.
"That's not going to happen! It can't! I can control myself! He's my best friend and I'll never kill him!" He spat.
"You will, Killu."

The Reborn Runesmith
We have all read stories about the reincarnated or portaled earthling going to the fantasy world and gaining a cheat and super abilities. This isn't one of those. The hero or villian here is just a smart guy who only gets to choose a few things like what he is and then given the ability to have mana. He doesn't even get to choose what kind of mana he gets it could be fire, water, air, etc. This world is different than ours. Gunpowder, medicines, and other things will probably not work or be availible. Who is to say that the beings of this new world will even have the same internal anatomy. These are all things our MC will have to discover. Just like our world you can be born with great genetics but if you are a lazy and undriven person nothing will come of it. This is my first attempt to write. There WILL be mistakes. I am a mathmatician not an english major so be prepared for questionable grammer and spellings. One of these days if I enjoy doing this I will get me an editor who did english instead of math and science.

Legacy of Blood
Ao Ruang lives in a village isolated from the outside world. Due to a tragic fate he finds himself far away from his home on the brink of death. Only to be entrusted with the legacy of a near extinct race.A Legacy he must embrace.A Legacy that fills humanity with suspicion and hate.A Legacy written in blood. Hello Author here!I hope you all are enjoying my take on a cultivation story. I wanted to take elements I enjoy from cultivation novels while avoiding some of the tropes and insane power creep. I want to keep things as grounded as possible. The story is a bit quick paced in the start, but you will find that it slows down to a decent pace later on. The romance is going to be a slow burn and I want to keep it a bit of a surprise. While our protagonist Ao Ruang is the main man of the story their were will be times other characters will get some love also.Lastly, there will be occasional goals from latest chapter if those goals are reached I will release a bonus side chapter that focuses on other characters we have met before and I'm considering having polls to decide who the side chapter will be on.Please consider supporting me in anyway you can. For now I'm just looking for people to review, suggest to others, and interact.Respectfully,Joseon Walking

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
