It's been a year since the breakup

My walls have been built back up
And I push people away.
I don't let anyone get too close.
I keep my secrets to myself,
My emotions and feelings.
No one cares about them anyway, right?
I have classmates who share stories of
Their breakups with their boyfriends or
Girlfriends
And I'm jealous.
At least they got a text.

They are those who walk through the night with no soul, no heat, no individual thought. The story follows siblings Tom and Sally Blanc, who train to become slayers, or 'Knights' and quickly learn the hardships of their line of work.
