《Poems》The Wolf Prince

The air tastes like fear and bitter defeat,

Blood gushes from the body filled kingdom.

We crowd through the houses and overeat,

Our bloody victory's a clear outcome.

These humans are rabbits between our teeth

Caught in a midnight's trap, making us thrive,

Ignoring the secret hidden beneath:

We're going to burn this red world alive.

I rip the screaming mess of arms while

Blood gushes around me, soaking my fur.

There's no stopping us, a force so hostile.

The war's dying out, but then I see her.

Princess Edmé de Brinfleott sighted,

A defiant, gleaming fighter rises.
