The world that we live in,
There's not much to say.
Except we are the mighty people
Who are judgmental everyday.
Sometimes in the defining darkness,
There's that unique spark of light.
Who always dares to dream big,
To break the walls with might.
Some say they do extraordinary things,
But they are only trying.
To live a beautiful life
Before they are finally dying.
They haven't given up yet,
Until then we shall see.
The walls that keep the people in,
They have broken free.

A reckless ritual connected him to a well of knowledge, driving him insane and immortal, causing him to be treated as a commodity in the supernatural community, an Oracle. 2019 A.D, its been 1712 years, and the lusitanian has ended up in the other side of the world in less than wholesome hands, a place which may have answers about the mysteries of his abilities, when an unexpected event cuts the connection and his sanity and mortality return. Gaius Atiius Quadratus will not forget this kindness. The MC is based on the monk class of many rpgs, but the story isn't Litrpg. Also he will gain non monk abilities after a while. Fair warning I don't understand the rating system but I'll say M-rated just in case. This is my first story, I accept criticism but I would like the critic to explain the reasoning behind it. Also I'm still figuring how this site works and I have no schedule so updates may be sporadic, at least once a week. Not a native speaker but in the practices, too lazy to actually get the diploma, I got an average of 9.7 out of 10 at the Cambridge C1 level, the CAE, second highest european level for foreign languages, so it should be no problem. A few (a lot) of things it won’t have is: Overly bloody descriptions, I don’t need to have enough buckets of gore to fill a ballroom for people to get that guy is defiantly dead; Rape, I don’t like it and it’s honestly painful writing that stuff; Harems, fuck harems; Overpowered MC, EVER; Game elements/ transported to another world, overused as shit; “I’m out for revenge”, no one cares; “My village was burned down and everyone died ;-;”, yeah you and the other 60% of the population; A lot of overly dramatic events, Drama has its time and place to be impactful, so you need to use it sparingly so when you do it’s special; “I’m going to stab you because I’m CrAZy, I believe that everyone has a reason for what they do, sometimes the reason is because they’re fucking insane, but I’m still not going to write things like that; Generic fantasy creatures, I’m tired of hearing about the fucking mystical dragons or the god damn slimes, so I’m going to create my own monster. Also feel free to roast. I don't get offended easily and it's honestly one of the best ways to increase writing abilites.
