Ready to live a life behind grey bars,
I face the consequences of my soul.
I was born in a war, under the stars,
And grew up in a home with no control.
Players come for the valuables I stole.
Fists go flying but I block their attack.
I dodge their swinging feet, knowing their goal,
But then a shank comes out, and I drawback.
They come at me like a ferocious pack,
But I'm ready. If I die, I die fighting.
One shank comes down, and I feel a wet smack.
Scarlet blood drips down, darkness comes, inviting.
Another loss because of the controller.
On the blank screen, letters appear: Game Over

This is my third novel on Royal Road, the first being "Beyond the Horizon's Eye", and the second being "The Dawnfire Archives". This story is something of a test in a new genre, that of CardLIT. We'll see how well it succeeds as the story continues. It takes place in a different setting than my other tales, with an entirely new cast of characters. It does, however, contain several ties between the stories. Average post between 1000 - 3000 words.

Author's Note- Gabriel's story is a very long one,the novel will go on for a long time,more and more chapters will be released that are going to explain the main plot of the story.The story will unfold slowly and the major parts will come soon enough.If you like the story,please rate and if your main issue is the bad writting,I apologize,I will try to improve as I go along.English isn't my mother language and I am taking lessons at the moment.Please be patient with me.

It originated off me lamenting the lack of witches in space and has spiraled out of control from there.

It's an urban fantasy parody that saunters through a world full of the absurd, delighting in poking fun at popular media, widely-accepted ideas, and often itself. Story arcs only loosely connect through the characters, who are themselves slowly fleshed out as the story continues. Think of Discworld meets The Dresden Files meets Gintama. This novel won't be for everyone, but if it is for you, you're in for a hell of a ride.

Then Blake starts hanging out with the bad crowd and starts doing reckless things which are endangering his life. Rose makes it her mission to break away his barriers to understand why he is putting himself in these dangerous situations. But as they start to become closer and Rose finds out the reason behind Blake's behaviour she is shocked by the inevitable truth. There is something threatening to destroy Blake and everyone who cares about him. In the end it all comes down to one question: Is love stronger than hate?
