What does fear taste like?
Frozen in silence,
Your heart races.
Your hands sweat,
But you can't move.
Frozen,
Like the ice that falls
Into your mouth.
That plain frozen taste.
It's so cold it burns,
Like frostbite piercing your skin.
It makes you stand there,
Staring up at the monster in front of you,
And not moving.
It tastes like the rotten grapes
Hanging from vines in the burning sun.
