Hanzo woke first. He got up rubbing his eyes. He looked over to see that Jesse had fallen asleep on the floor. He crept over examining him. Hanzo reached to pull Jesse's hair from his face, but he flinched. Hanzo quickly pulled his hand away not wanting to be caught. Jesse's eyes opened to see Hanzo sitting upright beside him. Hanzo looked over like nothing happened.
"Good mornin' partner. How'd you sleep?"
"Better than earlier." Hanzo said.
"Good." Jesse quickly rose to his feet. "Time to work then."
Hanzo laughed a little under his breath.
"What's so funny arrow boy?" Jesse asked.
"You keep saying that, but I bet I could go several days without sleep McCree."
Jesse put his hands to his hips.
"Is that so? Well guess ya didn't know that I could as well. Hell I was trained by a guy who barely got sleep himself."
"Interesting." Hanzo said standing up. He smirked at McCree. "I don't suggest it, but it is possible."
"You challenging me?" Jesse raised his eyebrows.
"Maybe."
"Well that will be up for debate later. We gotta get to findin' Sombra."
"Why not take a break?"
Jesse stared at him curiously.
"What?"
"Winston did say we can take as much time as we need. Maybe we can get some breakfast?" Hanzo suggested.
McCree snapped his fingers and pointed towards Hanzo.
"I like the way you think Hanz! Let's grab some breakfast!"
Using the back entrance they walked out of the Palace and into the Plaza. The plaza was covered with shops, markets, and restaurants. Hanzo smiled as he walked down the Plaza with McCree explaining and pointing out everything they saw. He finally pointed to a cafe.
"This is where father always took us to breakfast when we were little. I always ordered extra pancakes." Hanzo said.
"Sounds delicious!" McCree said smacking his lips.
He rubbed his hands together and strutted through the door loudly. Hanzo gasped and ran after him.
"Wait, McCree! You have to be calm and quiet here!"
It was too late. McCree rushed inside loudly slamming the door open. Inside was a tall cieling. The walls were decorated with paintings of dragons and food. It was very fancy. Everyone inside was eating quietly, but all turned towards the door. McCree grew red in the face. He froze in place. Hanzo crept in behind him and lead them to a table. They sat down. McCree still embarrassed slouched under the table and tilted his hat over his face.
"Oh my god. I can't believe that just happened." McCree said from under his hat.
Hanzo tried to peek under the hat to try and cheer him up.
"Jesse it's ok. Let's just eat."
He nodded.
"I've embarrassed you more Hanz. Lemme pay for us ok?"
Hanzo nodded making his lips thin. A waiter came by and took their drink orders.
"Green Tea please." Hanzo said.
"Um I'll just have some black coffee." McCree said.
They both stared at their menus. McCree stared at it for a long time.
"There's so much to choose from!"
"Heh, indeed there is. That's why I order several things."
"Ya must have a large appetite then."
Hanzo chuckled and continued starring at the menu. Their food came and they began eating. McCree had finished his pancakes, but Hanzo was busy eating several poke bowls and two orders of pancakes. McCree stared at him curiously.
"How do ya eat all that?" McCree asked.

Hanzo shrugged, but of course he knew why.
"I must have a big appetite."
"More like a black hole in your stomach!!" McCree said supprised.
"You said you were paying anyways. I might as well enjoy myself." Hanzo said starting the next bowl of rice.
McCree grinned mischievously and reached into his pocket.
"That's right. I recently came into some money."
Hanzo looked over at him sternly as he pulled out a few credit cards. He knew that they were stolen.
"You shouldn't steal, Jesse."
"How else am I gonna pay for trip to the all you can eat?"
Hanzo chuckled a bit with McCree. Jesse sighed taking a sip of coffee.
"This is nice." McCree said smiling.
"I would especially enjoy doing this again." Hanzo said. "Of course there is work to be done, but one can enjoy themselves every so often."
"Yes of course."
McCree paid for their food and they left. McCree pulled out his phone. He stared at it seriously.
"Hey Hanz? I got a message from Overwatch. They translated Sombra's letter...
Overwatch is following me. Recent camera footage shows that they are here in Hanamura. I'm leaving you to lead them off on a wild goose chase, so they can lose my trail. My plan is to make a diversion. Something that will distract them for sevral days. I will meet up with you soon. Don't go back to Talon. I'll call you when you're done. See you soon! ~Sombra
"A distraction? How?" Hanzo asked.
"I don't know, but we need to be on high alert for anything. Sombra has already left Hanamura, but she left someone here to stop us. We can find out who and they might lead us to her. It's a long shot, but we don't have a lot of options." McCree said thinking hard.
"You're right."
Throughout the day the two of them went around the plaza to see if anyone suspicious came through here. Hanzo ran into a police officer who said that he'd seen to individuals. They were noth wearing cloaks and masks. The first one was wearing a metallic mask and the other was wearing a skull mask. Hanzo told McCree about this.
"A skull mask? Why does that sound so damn familiar?" McCree asked.
"Is does sound quite familiar doesn't it? I-I don't remember."
They both grabbed at their brains all day trying to figure out who it was. They didn't remember a metallic mask though. Then they remembered that they had sources. McCree called Angela back at Overwatch.
"It sounds like The Reaper might be on to you."
McCree grumbled under his breath. He wasn't very fond of Reaper, but he hoped that they wouldn't bump into him.
"Thanks Angie." McCree said hanging up.
That night was an important night in Hanzo's life. Every year on the same day he would visit that meditation room and sit in front of the painting to give offerings to his dead brother Genji.
He began meditating. His mind went back to the moment when his brother was slain. He vowed never to hold a sword again. A creek of wood came from behind him. Hanzo did little but speak. He knew someone was there to kill him.
"You are not the first one to try and kill me."
A deep robotic voice spoke from behind him.
"You are bold to come to Shimada castle. The den of your enemies."
"This was once my home. Did my master's not tell you who I was!"

Hanzo quickly pulled an arrow aiming it behind him. He shot the arrow now clearly seeing who he was dealing with. The assasin was covered in iron armor and green illuminecence. The assasin quickly dodged the attack.
"I know who you are Hanzo."
Hanzo's eyes went wide. He pulled another arrow back firing it off. The assasin again crouching away feom his attacks.
"I know you come here every year on the same day."
Hanzo growling under his breath firing another arrow.
"You risk so much to honor someone you murdered!"
Hanzo heard metal on metal. The assasin rolled to the side firing three metal stars at him. They hit the wall. Hanzo loosened another arrow.
"You know nothing of what happened!" Hanzo exclaimed.
He rolled over firing the arrow. The assasin pulled his sword in attempt to block the arrow. The arrow hit his sword sending his body through a light fixture. The assasin flipping to his feet and quickly dashing off. The assasin flipping to the main floor and dashing outside. Hanzo rushed after him and loosened another arrow. He looked around. The metal man was no where to be found. All of a sudden he could hear his voice.
"I know you tell yourself that you're brother disobeyed the clan," Hanzo fired the arrow. It hit the wall. "And that you have to kill him to maintain order. That was you're duty.
Hanzo pulled out another arrow.
"It was my duty and my burden." Hanzo said.
Hanzo quickly turned and fired the arrow. It hit the assasins blade sending the arrow flying dead to the ground. Pulling out his last arrow he pointed it towards the assasin.
"That does not mean I do not honor him!" Hanzo exclaimed.
He let the arrow fly. All of a sudden the assasin spun his sword and striked it through the air. It cut through the arrow sending two perfect halfs into the wood floor. Hanzo gasped and attepted to attack the assasin. He threw his bow against his blade. The assasin dodging each swing and jumping over Hanzo. The assasin attepting to strike Hanzo with his blade. He spun around kicking Hanzo to the ledge. Hanzo shook his head and looked up to see the assasin coming down to strike him. He quickly held his bow out blocking the blade from reaching his face. He struggled to keep the blade away.
"You think tou honor your brother Genji with incense offerings? Honor resising ones actions."
"You dare to lecture me about honor?!" Hanzo exclaimed. "You are not worthy to say his name!"
Hanzo quickly twisted the blade over sending the assasin across the floor. Hanzo quickly stood and pulled an arrow from the floor. He took a deep breath aiming it towards the assasin.
"Ryuuga wagateki wo kurau!"
Two spirit dragons emerged from his arm. He released the arrow sending the dragons in a spiral motion towards the assasin. The assasin quickly standing up pulled his sword out. It illuminated green as he swung it.
"Ryūjin no ken wo kurae!" The assasin exclaimed.
A green dragon spirit came off of his blade. Hanzo gasped. The dragon lead the two other dragons out of his way. The assasin stearing the blade moving the dragons away from him and pushed the two blue spirits back towards Hanzo. Hanzo held his hands out feeling his own spirits pushing him away. The dragons vanished. Hanzo fell to his knees in utter bewilderment. The assasin packing his sword back in its place and starring at the now frightened Hanzo.
"Only a Shimada can control the dragons! Who are you?" Hnazo asked staring at the assasin sternly.
The assasin quickly dashed foreward pulling his sword to Hanzo's neck. It rested firmly against his skin. Hanzo didn't flinch. He had given up.
"Do it then. Kill me." Hanzo said with effort.
The assasin stopped and carefully pulled his blade away.
"No."He said standing. "I will not grant you the death you wish for. You still have a purpose in this life, Brother."
Hanzo gasped looking up. His eyes went wide.
"No."
He quickly stood up and turned around grabbing his bow.
"No. My brother is dead."
The assasin reached around his head and unclipped his mask. It cane off his face. A pair of dark eyes was staring back at Hanzo. Scars covered his face. Hanzo stared at him for a long time.
"G-Genji? W-what have you...become?"
Genji placed his mask back in place. The soft green light flickered back on.
"I have accepted what I am and I have forgiven you." Genji placed a cold metal hand on Hanzo's shoulder. "Now you must forgive yourself." He began walking to the ledge. "The world is changing once again Hanzo, and it's time to pick a side."
Genji xrouched down and pushed off of the ledge jumping onto the next building. He turned around to face his brother one last time. Hanzo grew bitter. He grabbed one last arrow off the wall and aimed it towards Genji.
"Real life is not like the stories our father told us! You were a fool for believing it so!" Hanzo exclaimed.
"Perhaps I am a fool to think there is still hope for you, but I do." Genji said.
Hanzo lowered his bow. Genji put two fingers two his chest.
"Think on that, brother." Genji said. A strange dust covered his body and blew away. He vanished into dust. Hanzo fell to his knees. His bow dropped from his hands as they went to cover his sorrow expression. A faint voice emerged behind Hanzo. He heard heavy footsteps and a familiar voice calling his name.
"Hanzo? Hanzo! Where you at!"
Hanzo recongized the voice to be Mccree's. McCrees footsteps followed him outside to the ledge. He looked over to see Hanzo on his knees sobbing.
"Oh my god! Hanzo!"
McCree ran over to him examining his body for injuries.
"Partner, what the hell happened?! Are you alright?"
"I-I'm in a healthy physical state, but my mind has been tampered with Jesse."
"Oh thank god!" Jesse wrapped his arms around Hanzo. Hanzo stood there supprised, but slowly brought his hands up to meet Jesse's back. Jesse took a step back putting his hands on Hanzo's shoulders. "I mean, I'm glad you're not hurt, but what did you mean when you said your mind's been tampered with?"
"I-I have just seen my brother."
"Your brother? You mean the one thats dead?"
"Apparently he has survived, but most of his body is now a machine. I-I am ashamed at what I have done Jesse."
"How is any of this your fault Hanzo?"
Hanzo sighed and looked at Jesse blankley.
"Because I am the one who killed him."
Jesse's arms fell from Hanzo's shoulders. He looked at him with wide eyes.
"Damn Hanzo."
"I didn't know he was alive until now."
"Hey, bud, it's alright. Don't worry about him. He's gone now and hopefully won't get in the way." Jesse said. He looked back inside the temple. "I hope at least. Seems like he puts up a good fight."
Hanzo chuckled a bit.
"Indeed he does."
Jesse smiled at him and walked him back to his room. That night Hanzo couldn't sleep at all. Not with the thought of his brother being out there this whole time. He was a ninja able to stock his prey and become invisible. Hanzo felt as if he was being watched. He was, but not by the person he thought. Reaper lurked near by watching the two men daily. His black mist filled the corner of Hanzo's room. Hanzo couldn't see it for he was lying in the other direction, but he began to feel cold. A chill went from his shoulder down his spine. He peered over his shoulder, but Reaper's dark mist had already seeped under Hanzo's bedroom door. Seeing nothing he turned back over to sleep.
Reaper moved on to Mccree's room. He was also having a hard time sleeping, but he pretended to sleep. He heard the familiar sounds of Reaper shifting in and out of his forms. He heard him appear un the corner of the room. Jesse quickly pulled out his revolver and aimed it at Reaper. He looked at him sternly. Reaper didn't move. He leaned against the wall and stared at McCree. His black cloak blended into the dark surroundings of the room. McCree could barely even see his bone white mask.
"You better have a damn good reason for being here you sick Bastard." McCree exclaimed quietly.
Reaper cackled under his mask. The bottom half of his body turned to black smoke as he shifted to the other side of the room. His leggs came back and he stood in front of Mccree's bed with his arms crossed.
"I can't say hello to my favorite Overwatch members?" Reaper teased in a deep harsh voice.
"Shut up! I know you're here to keep us from catching your little Mexican hacker, but I'm gonna stop you!" Jesse exclaimed.
Reaper stared at him a long time. He began to cackled loudly. It almost scared McCree. He still held out his Peacekeeper toward Reaper tempted to pull the trigger right on the spot.
"I've already stopped you Jesse McCree and your little friend Hanzo Shimada."
McCree growled under his breath.
"How so?"
"Don't you see? I have told Genji that his brother would be here with a friend. He agreed to come and confront you with his pitiful feeling. That gave Sombra enough time to escape."
McCree stared wide eyed. He couldn't think or talk strait.
"I-I don't understand. Wha-why?" McCree rambled. His chest began to feel tight.
"Now for the final act." Reaper began.
His metal claw went up to his mask. He slowly removed it from his face. Jesse's eyes grew wide and he found himself backing up off of the bed and to the back wall. The gun began to shake in his hand. He could hardly breathe.
"G-Gabriel?"
He put his mask back over his face and disapeared into ablack smoke that covered McCree's face. It frightened him. He heard a low cackled before the smoke disapeared seeping under the door. McCree sat there terrified. He grabbed at his chest wanting more air. The revolver fell from his hands thumping to the floor. He took off his hat putting his hand through his hair trying to pull his thoughts together. Sweat dripped from his face.
"He-he's alive? How?! And he's in Talon! Why?! That just, that traitor! Reyes! You liar and traitor!" McCree ranted loudly.
He quickly stood and ran from his room. To his suprised he bumped into Hanzo.
"Jesse? What happened?"
"It's Gab-I mean R-Reaper is here. He came to me and told me Sombra has escaped already. Your brother was the diversion."
"H-how could they do this?"
"Because they are members of Talon. It's entirely bases around terrorizing the world."
McCree and Hanzo both wanted each other's company more than anything else. The both wrapped eachother in the others arms.
"We need to tell Winston that they are trying to get into our heads."
McCree looked at Hanzo curiously.
"Why, we can handle them by ourselves."
"I know, but I feel lost Jesse."
Hanzo didn't understand anything at the moment, but for some reason McCree's presences was comforting. McCree felt the same. He held Hanzo close to him. He was like a scared child, lost, alone.
"We're gonna stop em Hanz. I promise." McCree whispered.
Hanzo wimpered into Mccree's shoulder and didn't remove his arms from his back for a long time.
"Do you mind staying with me again?" Hanzo asked.
"No, not at all. I could honsetly use the company right now anyways." McCree tried to joke. They both went to Hanzo's room and layed next to eachother. They both drifted to sleep.
Hanzo woke up with a terrible headache. He opened his eyes and looked across the room to see McCree wearing a tank top and boxers. He was sitting at the table drinking a cup of coffee. His chest was out showing lots of hair. He was nipping out of the tank top. Hanzo's face grew red. He desperately tried to look away.
"Will you put a shirt on? N-no one wants to see that." Hanzo said blushing.
McCree chuckled and stared at Hanzo cheekily.
"Do my shoulder's distract you or somethin'?" McCree said in a deep riveting voice. He sat up staring at Hanzo. He crossed his arms grabbing the bottom of his shirt and pulling it over his head. Hanzo gasped quickly looking down. His face grew even more red than before.
"How bout now Hanz?"
Hanzo cleared his throat. He lookedat the bulge in Mccree's boxers and immediately felt his pants tighten.
"Ahem, we should g-get going." Hanzo said rustling out of bed. He nearly tripped. McCree giggled at him and put his shirt back on.
"I didn't know you were into guys Hanz." McCree said.
Hanzo quickly stood up and collected himself. He stared at McCree sternly.
"Are you assuming my attraction, McCree?" Hanzo asked.
"Hm, guess I am."
"You are also assuming that I'm attracted to you."
"Not assuming, it's obvious. Heh, doesn't take much to get you riled up."
