I woke up to an empty bed and a note placed on the side table. I picked up the note and saw that it was from Cole.

Good morning beautiful! Sorry I couldn't be there when you woke up but I had to have a head start preparation for this date. I took Cola with me, so you don't have to worry about him. You can do whatever you want until 5pm cause that's when you'll be picked up(Knowing you, you'd probably be awake by 12pm considering you and I stayed up a bit late and it's a Saturday today). Dress casual. No make up, it hides your beauty.

I smile as I read this. Just thinking about this date made me feel all giddy and happy. I was looking forward for today. It's been a LONG time since I've been on a date. I take a deep breath to calm my nerves. I get up and go downstairs to eat lunch since Cole was right, it's already 12pm.

I didn't eat much for lunch because I was really full from the cookies last night. Unlike most girls,I don't take hours to get ready. I decided to make some food for Cole and I's date today.

I kept it simple and did chocolate coated strawberries. To make it look creative, I cut the strawberries to make it look like a rose. I was about to cut another one when I noticed that this strawberry looked like a heart. I smiled as I examined the unique strawberry. I didn't eat it, stick a straw in it, or cut it. I i simply placed it in the middle of all the strawberry roses.

Once I was finished, I decided to start getting ready. Like I said, I haven't been on a date in a LONG time. So obviously the first thing I did was call my new sister in law. I called up Brian on Skype.

"Hey lil sis!!! Miss me already?" He says

"Yeah right. I need to talk to Amanda" I say

"Why?"

"It's a girl thing." Is all I say

He looks at me confused, but gets Amanda either way. She smiles widely when she sees me.

"Hey Alex!! What's up?" She asks

"I...uhmmm....have a date today...and...I don't know what to wear" I say slowly and hesitantly.

"SERIOUSLY?!?!?" She squeals

"OH MY GOSH ALEXA IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!" she continues squealing. I laugh and thank her

"Okay okay okay. So you need my help with fashion" she says

"Is it casual, formal or semi-formal?" She asks me

"Casual." I asnwer

"Okay...how about wear that cute white camisole-"

"No. It will show my arms." I cut her off

"That shouldn't matter. If this guy really likes you then he'll accept your flaws and your perfections" she states

"Now don't interrupt me anymore. You will not protest. You will follow my directions and you will look absolutely fabulous."she says

"Wear that really pretty white camisole, and pair it with your forest green skinny jeans. Then curl your hair into waves and put on some concealer, mascara and lip gloss." She says.

"Wait a minute, Why does my sister have to put on makeup?" Brian says as he comes into frame

"SHE'S GOING ON A DATE!!!" Amanda squeals. Brian is silent for a while.

"With who." He asks in a deadly tone

"Cole..."I say slowly and hesitantly. He immediately lights up and smiles.

"Okay. Use protection." Is all he says

"That's it?"

"I trust him." Brian says

I smile at that and thank Amanda for the help. We end the call and I went on to get ready. I did everything Amanda said. I'm actually so thankful Amanda gave me all these clothes. I haven't worn any of them in a long time and I'm glad they still fit. The makeup and curling iron is from one of the female bartenders I work with. They taught me how to use it and how to put on makeup.

By the time I finished getting ready, it was already 4:50. Only 10 minutes left. I was so not nervous *note sarcasm*. I went downstairs to pack the food I made for us. After that was finished, I waited.

Fuck.

It's only 4:59!! I looked out the window to see the familiar Lamborghini waiting for me. I grabbed my stuff and took a few deep breaths before opening the door. The door to the driver's seat opened to reveal Chase. I look at him confused, but he just smiles widely at me. He takes my stuff from my hands.

"Oh my beautiful little sister. You look super gorgeous. Cole is super lucky." He says grinning widely

"Thanks Chase." I blush. I haven't really looked at myself once I finished getting ready. I was too embarrassed to see how I looked. I didn't want to see what I did wrong.

"Well let's go m'lady. Your date is anxiously waiting for you." He says in a posh voice. He holds out his hand for me to take, and I gladly take it.

He helps me get in the backseat of the car. He hops in the driver's seat and starts to drive off to the date. The further we are from the house, the closer we get to the location of the date. The closer we get to the location of the date, the more nervous I get.

Chase chuckles from his seat.

"Nervous?" He asks, more like states

"That obvious?"

"Yup." He laughs

"Don't worry though. Cole is exactly the same. He's been nervous the whole day. He thinks you won't like it." He says

"Really?" I ask shocked

"Yeah. It's been a looonnngggg time since Cole went on a date." He says

"Seriously?! I thought he would be an expert at this by now, considering all the girls he's had." I say

"Cole only takes the really really special girls on dates." He says

"So how many dates has he been on?" I ask

"1 other date" He says

So there was 1 other special girl. I wonder what happened to them...

"What happened to the other girl?" I decide to speak out my thought

"That's for another time Al. For now, just focus on you and Cole. It's your night." He says

"And don't be nervous. This is just like those many other times you two hang out together. Only this time..." he trails off

"This time?"

"Nothing."

"Chaseee" I whine. He laughs and gives me a knowing smirk

A few minutes later we arrive at our destination...at least I think. Chase gets out of the car and I follow him. It was all trees, trees and more trees.

"What's wrong?" I ask

"Nothing...I think something's wrong with the the engine...stay here while I try it out." He says

He goes into the car and opens the car. It roars with no problem. I was about to walk inside but Chase sped off as soon as I took one step closer. I yelled after him, most of my words being profanities. I huff and look at the floor to see that he subtly placed all my stuff on the road. I went to pick it up, and when I stood back up I saw Cola.

I walked over to him. He had a rose in his mouth and leash around his neck. I took the rose and saw a letter tied to the stem.

I did as the note said. I took the Cola's leash and he started leading the way. We walked through the forest. As we walked, there would be red roses on the ground. Cola would always pick it up and hand them to me. Each of the rose had a note tied to it. Remembering the very first note, I combined all the notes we would pick up.

I watched out if there were any more roses, but there weren't any. Cola ran forward, towards the darkness. I tried to follow him but it was too dark for me to see anything. The sun has already set, but the moon wasn't up yet. I called out for Cola, but it was silent...until...

Lights started opening. There were lights all around. I was in awe at the sight in frnt of me. There was a beautiful pond with clear blue water. Flowers were everywhere. Soft music can be heard playing in the background. It was all so beautiful..but there wasn't anyone else there.

I looked down at the notes in my hand. I read note number 7 and 8 again

A cough interrupted my thoughts. I looked up and gasped. Standing in front of me was Cole. He had a bouquet of flower in one arm. He was holding a sign that said

I covered my mouth to prevent it from yelling and ruining the moment. I nod my head as a yes. That was all it took for Cole to put the flowers and sign down and run up to me. He hugged me so tightly and kissed both my cheeks. I giggled at his happiness.

"Oh my god I'm so glad you said yes." Cole says

" why woul I say no?!" I ask

"I don't know. The

nerves were taking over my head."

He doesn't let me go. I sigh and smile widely. It finally happened. The guy I had a huge crush on likes me back and even asked me to be his girlfriend. Can this day be any better?

"So let's eat." He announces

He and I sat on the picnic blanket he prepared for us.

"Cole...gosh...thank you so much for everything...I...I'm speechless." I say

"...the date has only just begun, Lex" he winks

Gosh this guy was such a dorky idiot...but he was my dorky idiot...
