True to my word I did end up finishing the conversation I had with Lexi. She cried again and hugged me tightly. I don't ever wanna see her cry again.

It was raining really hard today, so classes were cancelled today. Lexi was giving Axel a bath and I was watching TV. Suddenly Axel came running downstairs with no shirt on. He was still dripping wet. Lexi came running down soon after

"Axel!! come back here!!! you're gonna get sick!!!" Lexi yells after him

Axel runs to me and hides in my chest. He keeps giggling and squealing. I laugh and hug him tightly

"What are you doing bud?" I chuckle

"Hiding from Auntie Allie" he giggles

"And why is that?" I chuckle

"Just cause it's fun!!" He smiles widely at me

"Bud come on now, let's not give your Auntie Allie a hard time." I tell him. Lexi throws his shirt at me and I put it on him. Axel hugs me tightly and goes to playing with his toys. Lexi sits next to me and cuddles to my side. I automatically wrap my arm around her, making her cuddle into me more.

"What are you watching?" She looks up at me with her blue-grey eyes

"I honestly have no idea. I'm so bored." I say

She suddenly gets up and I have the sudden urge to pull her back to me. She runs upstairs then comes back down a few minutes later in one of her huge sweaters and jeans. I look at her confused and she just smiles.

She runs outside and it takes me a while before I realize that she has gone outside in rain. I put on my own jacket and ran outside. Lexi is standing outside just looking up as the rain pours down on her.

"Lexi!!!" I yell

She turns around and gives me a huge smile.

"Lexi come back here!!! You're gonna get sick!!!" I continue yelling

"Come and get me!!!" she yells back

I sigh in frustration and tug on my hair. I walk outside and grab her arm. She turns around and looks at me with her blue-grey eyes. It captivates me and I instantly forget why I was angry.

"Isn't this fun?!" She squeals as she hops around and jumps in the puddles.

"I just scratched something off my bucket list!! Play in the rain!!" she says and she twirls around

"You have a bucket list?"

She chuckles and walks over to me.

"Of course!!! everyone has one." she says

"Now come on!!" she grabs my hand and I look at her confused.

She takes my hand and puts in on her waist. My heart is pounding and I look at her confused. She then takes my other hand and intwines it with hers. She puts her other hand on my shoulder and starts guding me. I realize what she's trying to do and I pull away.

"I I I can't dance. I'm sorry. I don't wanna step on your feet" I look down at my feet embarrassed. She chuckles and hugs me. She feels warm even if we're standing in the pouring rain.

"It's fineeee Cole, just trust me." She smiles up at me

I sigh and go back to our position. I look down at our feet, focusing on not stepping on hers. She takes her hand off my shoulder and puts it on my cheek. I look at her in shock and she smiles.

"Just focus on the music." she says

"What music?" I ask

she smiles and starts singing.

I was so focused on her singing that I didn't realize, we were dancing with no problem. I was shocked. I have never danced without hurting any toes.

"You're an amazing dancer." I tell her

"Thanks..." she blushes

"Did you scratch anything else off ?" I ask

She looks down and hesitates. I look at her confused and she smiles lightly up at me

"Close your eyes." she instructs

I furrow my eyebrows but then do as she says. I feel her arms on my neck and soft plump lips on mine. I open my eyes and am in complete shock and don't know how to respond. She pulls away and sighs.

"I'm sorry..." she mumbles. She starts walking away but I pull her back. She struggles in my grip but I make her look up at me. I press her lips against mine and kiss her gently.

The kiss was better than any girl I've ever kissed, and that's a lot. I was mesmerized and with this one kiss I became addicted. I wanted more. Everything felt so right. I never wanted to let her go. I reluctantly pulled away for air but still held her close.

I was smiling widely and so was she. She stood on her tip toes and whispered in my ear

"I got rid of 3 things off my bucket list thanks to you."

"Oh yeah? What is it?" I ask

"Sing in the rain, dance in the rain and kiss in the rain." she smiles at me

"Hmm? well I scratched off something too" I whisper

"What is it?"

"I'll tell you next time. Let's head inside and dry off."
