《Foster Brothers | COMPLETED》Ch. 32 - The Fair

"Campbell! Come on! The fair is open!" Micheal yelled, jumping on top of my bed.
"Five more minutes," I groaned, throwing a pillow over my head. I heard him sigh in annoyance, and I smiled.
"You have to get up so we can go. Brent will be here soon," Micheal said, making me shoot straight up.
Micheal laughed at me and said,"Haha. Knew it will get you up."
I narrowed my eyes at him before playfully hitting him with a pillow. He grabbed a pillow, too, and before we knew it, we were having a pillow fight.
"Micheal, did you get Campbell up?" Gavin asked, walking into my room.
When he saw what was going on, he grabbed a pillow and joined us. Before long Gaberial and Nick joined, and we were all laughing.
"I don't want to ruin your fun, but it's 10:00," Ross said, standing at my doorway.
"Crap, I got to take a shower," I mutter, making the boys groan.
"Don't leave. We have to finish this. We can't let Nick and Micheal win," Gaberial said as I walked to my bathroom.
"I have to. Plus it's a tie," I said before shutting the door and locking it. I heard their protests, and I snickered to myself.
I turned the shower on before looking at myself in the mirror. My hair was sticking up everywhere, and I still had some makeup from last night on. As I waited for the shower to get hot, I stripped my clothes, throwing them into the laundry basket.
I jumped into the water, and the hot water ran all over me. I washed my hair and my body before getting out so I could wash my face. Nothing is better than having a clean face.
I brushed my teeth before leaving my bathroom. When I walked into my bedroom, nobody was in there and my door was shut. They must have left when I was getting a shower.
I walked into my closet to find an outfit for today. It's suppose to cold today so I grab a pair of black jeans, a white shirt that said Not Your Baby, a dark greenish-blueish bomber jacket, and a white bra. (Outfit up top!) I changed into the outfit before getting the blow drier out.
I think I'm going to put my hair into space buns today.
After a super long time blow drying my hair, I brushed through it to get all of the knots out of it. Then I grabbed two hair bands, and I put my hair into two space buns.
Then I put on some mascara and some lips balm before putting on my black Vans with the shoelaces. Lastly I sprayed some perfume on me so I smell good. I grabbed my phone off of my nightstand, and I left my room.
I heard talking downstairs as I walked down the stairs, and I looked in the living room to see that everybody was here.
Brent walked up to me, and he kissed me. I heard a groan behind us, and I looked over to see Nichole hitting Nick in the arm.
"First off, ow! Second off, what? He's my best friend and Campbell is my sister. It's weird," Nick said before his eyes widen.
He just called me his sister. Oh my gosh.
Before anybody could say anything, Lisa walked in the living room.
"Why is everybody so quiet?" Lisa asked, sitting next to Anna.
"Nothing. Just getting ready for the fair," Nick said, quickly.

Did he regret calling me his sister?
"I hope yall have fun," Lisa replied, opening a magazine that was sitting on the glass coffee table.
"Thanks, Mom. Come on let's get going, so there is still funnel cake," Gaberial said, standing up from the couch.
"Agreed," Madison said.
"Bye, Mom," Elliot said, standing up on his crutches.
"Bye guys. And Elliot be careful on that leg," Lisa told him sternly.
He nodded while we walked outside.
"Alright, meet by the doors. Then we'll get our tickets, and get in the rides," Nick told us.
We all nodded in agreement, and Brent pulled me along to his car. I climbed into the passenger seat, and he went around the car to get into his seat.
"Are you okay?" Was the first thing he asked when we got on the road.
"What do you mean?" I asked him, furrowing my eyebrows.
"I saw the look on your face when Nick called you his sister, and the look on your face when he didn't say anything about it to Lisa," Brent said, putting his arm on the middle consul.
"What look?" I asked him.
"You were shocked then you were upset. You're not hard to read, you know," Brent said, tapping his fingers on the steering wheel with his other hand.
"It's just did he regret calling me his sister?" I blurted out.
"Of course not. Princess, I have known Nick for an extremely long time, and I know that he always wanted a sister. And here you are."
"You sure? He looked like he regretted it."
"I promise you that he didn't regret it. He was just shocked is all," Brent promised.
I stayed silent for the rest of the ride to the fair, thinking about what Nick said. When we parked in the grass, we got out of Brent's car. We walked around to each other, and we joined hands. Then we walked to the ticket booth.
We saw the rest of the group standing there, waiting for us. We strolled over to them, and they smiled when they saw us.
"Finally. Now let's go get on the rides," Micheal said.
"We're going, little man," Elliot said, getting out his wallet.
"Again, I'm not little. I'm about to be fourteen," Micheal replied.
"Mph," Elliot said before pulling out cash,"11 wristbands pls."
The guy in the booth nodded, and gave us our wristbands. Then we walked into the fair where a lot of little kids were running after each other screaming.
"Let's go on the swings first," I suggest since it was the ride that was closest to us.
"Yeah, lets go," Micheal agreed with me.
We showed the guy our wristbands, and we got into our seats. Brent was in the blue swing next to me, and the group was behind us or in front of us.
"You better hang on tight, Princess," Brent said as we were lifted up in the air. Then we started to swing.
Then Brent pushed me, causing me to spin. When I stopped spinning, I gaped at him.
"You're so going to get it," I yelled over the wind.
Then I kicked his seat, causing him to spin like me. That's what we did the whole ride, pushing each other.
When we got off of the ride, Nick wanted to go on this ship thing that swings you back and forth. There was no way I was getting on that.
"I'll stay with you," Brent said when I told him I didn't want to ride that death contraption.

"You don't have to. Go ride on that...fun ride. I'll be fine," I told him.
He shrugged,"I really don't care. Come on let's go play a game."
"Okay," I told him.
"We're going to play a game. Y'all have fun on that ride," Brent told the others.
"Alright," Nichole said.
"Come on, this way," Brent said, dragging me behind him.
"Where are we going?" I asked him.
"I'm going to win you a stuff animal, duh," he replied.
"That's very cliché, you know."
"I don't care. Plus what kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn't win you a stuff animal at the fair?" He asked, raising his eyebrows.
"Fine, good luck, though."
He stopped walking in front of a booth with cans stacked up. There was stuff animals all around the edge. Brent asked for the balls, and the man gave him three.
"Knock them all down to win a prize," the man instructed, bored.
Brent threw the first ball, and it hit the top can. Then he threw the second, and it knocked all of the cans down.
"Winner! Winner! What would you like?" The man asked.
"Campbell, choose," Brent told me.
"Um....." I said, looking at the stuff animals."That panda." I pointed to a large stuff panda.
The man handed to me, and I felt the fur. It was so soft. I smiled, and Brent looked at me.
"What's his name?" Brent asked me.
"Mr. Sprinkles," I replied, making Brent laugh.
"Okay. Mr. Sprinkles it is. I kinda like it," Brent said, holding my hand.
We started to walk back to the ride where the others were at. When we made it over there, they were getting off.
"That was awesome," Gaberial said.
"I thought I was going to fall out," Anna said, placing a hand on her heart.
"You wouldn't have fallen out. I wouldn't let that happen," Elliot said, kissing her forehead. Anna's cheeks turned a bright pink.
"Aw!" Hailey and Madison said together.
"That's a cute panda, Cam," Gavin commented on my panda.
"Thanks Brent won it for me. His name is Mr. Sprinkles," I replied, making the whole group laugh.
"Funnel cake is definitely next," Nick said, pointing to the funnel cake truck.
"Indeed," Nichole said as her mouth began to water.
We walked over to the food truck, and we ordered some drinks and four funnel cakes.
When we got our food, we sat down on the picnic tables which were under a tent.
"This is so good," I said, chewing on a piece of it.
"Definitely worth ten dollars," Nick agreed with me.
We finished eating, and we rode a lot of other rides. Some were scary, but Brent let me hold onto his arm tightly.
We were walking past the animal petting zoo when I had to use the restroom.
"I will be right back. I have to use the restroom," I told Brent who nodded.
I walked away from the group, and towards the restrooms. They were located in a building in the far corner away from everybody. I was almost at the door when somebody yelled, "Stop!". I looked behind me to see a man, maybe in his early four ties came running up to me.
He was dressed in pants and a jacket, but he was hiding something behind his back.
"Are you Campbell West?" He asked me.
"Yes, why?" I asked, a little scared.
Then a huge black camera was in my face, and a microphone. The man stepped forward, making me step backwards against the wall.
"Tell us how bad were the beatings Malcom gave you?" The man asked, blocking me from getting away.
I felt my throat close in, and my hands were shaking. I was goi NV to have a panic attack if this guy doesn't let me leave.
"How about your parents? What about them?" He asked again.
I started to see black spots, and I became light headed. Then the man was pushed away from me, and somebody stepped in front of me blocking me from the guy's view.
"Get the hell away from her," Brent's voice yelled.
I looked over a little to see the guy on the ground, and his camera laid beside him, broken.
"That was a three thousand dollar camera!" The man yelled.
"I don't give a damn. You don't need to come up to her and harass her," Brent replied.
My hands stopped shaking, and my breathing was back to normal thanks to Brent.
"Security!" Brent yelled, causing two cops run over to us.
"He was harassing her," Brent told them.
"It's wasn't harass. It's my job," the guy defended himself.
"So coming up to a teenage girl, interrogating her, and flashing a camera in her face isn't harassment?" Brent asked, raising a brow.
"Come on, you," one of the cops said, grabbing the man's arms.
The other cop helped, and they led the man out of the fair. Brent turned around to me, and he cupped my cheeks examining if I was okay.
"Did he hurt you?" He asked, softly.
I shook my head,"No. I'm fine. Who was he?"
"He most likely paparazzi," Brent answered.
"Are you guys okay?" Anna asked running up to us with the group behind her.
"Yeah. A guy was harass Campbell. Security took him away," Brent said.
"Paparazzi?" Elliot asked.
I nodded,"He was asking me questions."
"Do you want to go home?" Gaberial asked me.
"No. I'm not going to let a guy ruin today. Let's go to the bumper cars," I suggested.
They had smiles on their faces, and we walked to the bumper cars. My hands were still a bit shaky, but I didn't let anybody see that. I just wanted to have fun, and not worry about anything.

"You guys cheated!" Nick yelled, like a five year old.
"No we did not," Brent argued.
"Yes y'all did," Nichole grumbled beside him.
You see what happened was that we had battles between each other. Then the last two teams who won the battles were against each other.
Well Brent and I were against Nick and Nichole for the win. And we won.
"You guys stop arguing. The fair is closing soon, and we need to go on the Ferris wheel," Madison said, joining arms with Gavin.
"And after that home. Mom just text me saying we needed to be back at six," Elliot said, putting his phone back in his pocket.
"Fine," we all said.
We walked over to the Ferris wheel, and we waited in line. Elliot and Anna got on first with Micheal then Madison and Gavin, and so on. Brent and I were the last ones, along with Mr. Sprinkles.
Brent and I got into a cart thing, and the Ferris wheel started to move. It was sun setting, and the sky was filled with different, vibrating colors; pink, blue, orange, and yellow.
"The sunset is so beautiful," I said in awe.
"But not as beautiful as you," he said, making me turn my head to look at him.
"Real smooth, Mason," I replied, trying to hold my blush back.
But I failed.
The ride stopped at the top, and I looked at the sky. Then Brent kissed me. It was fireworks going off throughout my body.
It was a perfect ending for today.
