As soon as Kai heard that familiar nickname, his heart dropped to his stomach, face paling almost instantly. It was as if time had stopped, leaving only you and Kai standing there, eyes boring into each other's. Although Kai was terrified by the fact that you had remembered him, a part of him felt warm, happy and almost relieved. As if that part of him had been waiting for years for you to recognise him. Yet he still couldn't bring himself to say anything.

You think he probably hadn't heard you well, and so you gulp, analysing his eyes and his facial features before asking again, "You're K, right?"

Everyone's eyes fly to whom you were looking at, confusion on all their faces. Yoongi's eyebrow cocks up as he stares between you and Kai, sensing some sort of history. Mizuki was also intrigued, arms crossed on his chest patiently. Namjoon felt his thoughts start to work in his head as he tried to understand what was happening. Jin was eyeing the tears dripping down your cheeks, a worried look on his face. Lisa was just staring at you, having never seen you like this.

Bruno hears the familiar name, his own memories filling his computerised head. He gulped, not understanding how you had remembered all of a sudden. He was sure you'd forgotten. He looks over at Kai's face, wanting to shout for him to deny it, to say he wasn't who you thought he was. Bruno knows how messy things would get if you actually got confirmation that it was him.

Jungkook... Jungkook was a different story altogether. He felt a pang in his chest as he watched you stare into Kai's eyes, desperation in your own. He stares into your brown pupils, hurt taking over him as he saw the emotion behind them; the longing, the want, the distress. He knew what was happening, he just didn't want to admit it to himself.

When Kai hears that question, his breathing stops, mind whirling with a mix of thoughts as he tried to figure out how to answer you. Something in him wanted to scream 'yes, I'm the man you loved!', but he couldn't. Not when seeing the way Jungkook stared at you. With a hurting heart, Kai looks away from your eyes and down to the floor before he mumbles, "No, I'm not. I don't know what you're talking about." Once finished, Kai bites his bottom lip, wanting to punch himself for the lie he just told. Bruno's tensed form seems to drop in relief, a sigh leaving his mouth as he calms himself.

"You're lying." You immediately reply, eyes scanning over his face again. Bruno tenses up again and all eyes were back on you. Kai's eyes widen, gaze meeting yours as a look of confusion passes through his features, although he tries to hide it. You decide to continue, "I know you're lying, you always used to look away and bite your lip when you used to lie." You smile at the end of your sentence.

Jungkook freezes, another pang passing through his chest. He looks down, hands which were laid on your shoulders now dropping to his lap. Yoongi glances at the troubled boy, eyes piercing through his expression.

Kai feels his heart stop, eyes softening at the fact that you had remembered such a trivial thing about him. His heartbeat began to increase as he stares into your eyes, not knowing what to say. He wanted to scream, to yell that he was K, that he was the person in your memories. But his gaze flew to Jungkook and he couldn't. Seeing a hurt expression on the boy's face, Kai feels guilt surge through his body. Just as he opened his mouth to deny that it was him again, you interrupted him.

"You gave me Bruno, didn't you?" You ask, although knowing the answer.

Bruno freezes, nervous again. He knew this was it, Kai wouldn't be able to deny this. You had your memories as proof, after all. Kai immediately tenses, eyes flying over to Bruno in a nervous glance before looking back at you, throat dry.

Everyone's eyes widen at this new revelation. "The kidnapper gave her the dog? What?!" Mizuki mumbles to himself, fingers massaging his own head to try and understand exactly what the fuck was taking place at the moment. Jungkook felt his chest tighten further, and all he wanted was to get out of that place. But he stayed, wanting to know more as his curiosity got the better of him.

Kai decides to give in, as there was no way he would be able to deny it now. Plus, he didn't think he would be able to lie to you for any longer. He slowly brings himself to mutter out, "Long time no see, Y/N." A smile flashes on his face at the end of his sentence.

Jungkook shut his eyes, obvious disappointment embedded on his face. Yoongi's and Mizuki's eyes widen at the confirmation received by Kai, their mouths dropping open in sync. Namjoon was not surprised, he had known Kai was lying since the beginning too. Jin and Lisa were mildly surprised as well, but not nearly as much as Mizuki.

Bruno feels the need to facepalm, and immediately does so, lifting his paw up to his face as he shook his head in disappointment, mumbling, "Idiot. You've done it now."

Jungkook reopens his eyes, looking at you for some sort of reaction.

You feel your shoulders relax, smile appearing on your face as more tears filled your eyes. You blink them away, tired of crying. Your heart begins to feel at ease, as if it had been satisfied.

Jungkook feels worse at the sight of your happiness but he shrugs it off, trying to focus on a bright side, yet he could see none.

You slowly mumble out in reply, "It's been a long ass time, K."

And then the memory of him saying hateful things to you and walking away from your crying form flashed into your head and your happiness died out, being replaced by anger. Your smile falls, gaze hardening as you slowly stood up, staring at him with a dark look in your eyes.

Everyone turns to stare at you, confused again except for Bruno, he knew what was coming. Kai stops, staring at you with a puzzled look on his face. "Here it comes." Bruno mumbled to himself, ready to watch the drama go down.

You grab the nearest pillow, mumbling, "Hey, K..." You start with a misleadingly sweet voice, watching as he hummed in reply before lifting the pillow and taking a few steps towards him. "...you remember that day at the park, don't you?" You ask darkly, eyes glaring into his as he nods, gulping. You continue, "...you remember it, right? so, I have a question for you. Who gave you the right..." Your voice drops as you reach close to him, "...who gave you the right to say all that bullshit you said and leave me without any explanation, huh?!" You shout, before attacking him with a pillow.

Lisa gasps, eyes flying open and hands covering her mouth. Jungkook was also extremely confused, staring at you as you beat the shit out of Kai. "Who do you think's gonna win?" Mizuki mumbles to Yoongi, who immediately replies, "I trained Y/N so definitely her." Mizuki licks his lips, watching the match closely before looking at Yoongi again, "I'll give Master a chance, since if I don't he would kill me. Bet?" Yoongi nods, smirking, "Bet." Namjoon steps in, shaking his head at the two who groan when being interrupted.

"Called it." Bruno says, watching as you tackled the red haired boy.
