1 Day To Mission

You slowly open your eyes, feeling a pounding headache. You realise you were not on a pillow, and so crane your head up, not surprised to find you were laying on Jungkook's chest. He looks down at you, smiling, "Good morning."

You groan, sitting up only to feel Jungkook push you back down. You roll your eyes, asking, "How long was I out?"

Jungkook thinks for a second before speaking, "Between 10 to 15 hours. It's okay, you needed the rest."

You look up at him, eyes softening when seeing the dark circles underneath his eyes. You hesitantly ask, "Did you get any sleep?" Jungkook pauses, before shaking his head slightly. You sigh in annoyance, sitting up and forcing Jungkook to lie down properly. He ended up hugging your waist, his face buried in your neck. You play with his hair, trying to get him to fall asleep.

Jungkook groans into your neck, smiling, "You do realise you're giving me a good opportunity to give you another hickey." You roll your eyes playfully, a smile coming on your face too as you speak, "You stayed up all night for me so go ahead, you have my full permission this time."

"Are you okay?!" Namjoon asks, as soon as you walk into the dining hall. You chuckle, patting him on the shoulder and saying, "Of course I am! That was nothing, I even got shot once!" Namjoon's eyes widen, "Wait, you got shot?"

Mizuki sits down next to you, grabbing your hoodie. You look at him in confusion and he sighs, relieved, before releasing your hoodie and saying, "Okay, you're back to normal now. How's your head?"

"It's perfectly fine," You say, smiling at him. Yoongi sits down in front of you, lifting his hand up and pressing it against your forehead. Your cheeks turn a slight pink colour and Jungkook comes in, smacking Yoongi's hand so it moved off your face. Yoongi rolls his eyes, "I was checking her temperature, she's still a bit warm so she should take it easy." Bruno nods, hopping into your lap, "You really should try and be calm, Y/N. Don't overdo it today."

You shake your head, "I'm fine, really."

"No, you're not." Jungkook says, eyeing your face carefully. Namjoon nods in agreement, "He's right. You should just relax so you feel better tomorrow and can do the mission easily."

Jungkook looks up at Namjoon, biting on a piece of toast. He speaks, "So, Mr. Genius, did you find out what happened?"

Namjoon nods, licking his lips and taking a deep breath before beginning to talk, "After looking over the contract and thinking about everything that happened yesterday, I think I know what's happening. These demons are using these materials to take over the bodies of humans. The key kickstarts the process, leaving the human's body vulnerable while the demon inside awakens. This is what he wants to do; he wants every human to become a demon, so that their army becomes stronger." He pauses, looking at you, "You mentioned seeing those creatures on your way here, right?" You, Jungkook and Bruno nod and Namjoon continues, "Those were the turned demons. Their inner demons had come out, possessing their entire body. Have you thought about when you shot at those demons then? When you shot at their bodies, they didn't get injured but when you shot at Ji-Hyun's body, he did. That's because he had possessed Ji-Hyun's body, while those other demons had their bodies taken over by their own inner demons. It all ties up in the end."

Mizuki nods in understanding, chugging some mango juice before mumbling, "So that's what they're trying to do with all those people?"

Namjoon nods, eyes glazing over, "Yes, it is."

Jungkook clenches his jaw, "We have to save them. Those innocent people don't deserve this at all."

You nod in agreement.

Bruno looks up at Namjoon, "Wait, but doesn't that mean they can easily capture us and transform us too? Well, not me, but you guys." Yoongi bites his tongue before speaking, "Then we won't get captured."

"Let's hope we don't," You mumble, eyeing your lap.

"High kick." Yoongi says and you follow his instructions, landing a high kick to his forearm. "Not fast enough," He says, eyeing your disappointed face.

All of you were currently training, as the mission you had been waiting for was just around the corner, tomorrow night. Jungkook was practicing decoding, Mizuki was helping Namjoon and Kai train and Yoongi was helping you. Bruno was taking a power nap in the corner.

After about two more hours, Yoongi had decided your skills were passable enough. He decided to focus more on your shooting aim, using the standees for the guards as targets for you. By the end of the night, you had become an expert at shooting, and had taken it as your strong point. Your two hours worth of martial arts training was also pretty good, and you would say you were pretty prepared.

You collapse on the floor, tossing your gun away and wiping your face with a towel. Yoongi was not an easygoing trainer; he made you go all out.

Mizuki chuckles, collapsing next to you before speaking, "He's pretty cool, innit?"

You nod, gulping down some water from your bottle. You set it down and speak, "Yeah, he's cool but I think I can actually taste blood in my mouth. Is that normal?"

"It's normal when you train with Yoongi." Mizuki replies, snorting at your tired state.
