Finally, after hours of driving, you guys arrive at the previous building, the one where you kidnapped Kai from.

You unbuckle your seatbelt and slowly get out of the car while everyone else does the same. You stand outside the building, which, surprisingly had no guards around it. You think for a while about the reason behind the absence of the guards, but upon coming up with nothing, you simply shrug your shoulders.

"Their leader left so that's why they're not guarding, probably." Jungkook mumbles, walking forwards and touching the large steel doors to look for a way inside. You were surprised at how he came up with an answer almost immediately, but then again, it was Jeon Jungkook. The man was quite a genius. Jungkook could sense you boring your eyes into the back of his head and he couldn't help but smile, loving every second of your eyes on him.

Kai walks over to the far right of the door, where there was a tiny machine built into the wall. He was sure he had security access still, unless somehow everyone realised that he betrayed them and decided to get his name and thumbprint out of the system. He lifts up his thumb, pressing it to the green portion of it. Your mouth gapes open, "Fingerprint access, that's cool."

"And makes this much easier." Bruno says, eyeing the gate as it began to open.

Kai walks back to where you all were standing, taking the spot on your right and Bruno's left. He couldn't help but eye the side of your face as you analysed the gate opening. He feels a kick on the side of his leg, turning around to stare at the tiny creature who didn't even look at him. "What?" Kai asks, confused. Bruno wags his tail, sitting, "Stop staring, bud, she's taken."

Kai shakes his head, watching you and Jungkook move forward into the building. "Nah, they aren't official yet. I think I still have a chance."

Bruno gets off his butt and begins waddling forwards to catch up with you guys, but not before shaking his head at Kai's words, who rolls his eyes and walks in behind the tiny creature.

You enter the building, and see the huge ground inside the gate but outside the actual building. You stop and so does Jungkook. You don't remember seeing this, because when you were with Kai, walking off to get married, your tears were blurring your vision the whole time. You chuckle at the fact that you were actually about to get married at one point. Jungkook hears your slight laughter and turns his head towards you, raising an eyebrow. A smile unknowingly graces his features at the sight of the smile on your face. He slowly brings himself to ask, "What's so funny?"

You sigh, smile never leaving your face, "Can you believe I almost got married? Because I can't."

Jungkook chuckles at this too, gaze turning to look at Kai, who was busy arguing with Bruno about something. His smile grows, "I can't either. It's just a relief you didn't end up actually married to that dumbass."

You snort, eyes gleaming when you turn to look at the red-haired boy, "He's not all that bad, I guess."

Jungkook's smile drops at this, and his eyebrows jump up. He feels his jealousy return, a sinking feeling appearing in his stomach. You turn back to look at him, shrugging, "He was a prick when we first met him but he's pretty nice now. He even saved me from falling out of the car window, I think I can trust him now."

Jungkook felt hurt, again. "That was only because you were being reckless, I could've saved you too but I was driving," He grumbles, a pout appearing on his lips. In all honesty, Jungkook regrets all those times where he couldn't save you. The first encounter with a creature at the gas station, the time where you guys fought and Kai kidnapped you, the time when you actually got shot and probably more. He hated the fact that there were rarely any times when he was able to save you from danger.

You laugh at his words, turning to look at him, "Ooh, is Kook jealous?"

He scoffs, averting his eyes and staring at the ground, "Of course I am."

You snort at that, turning to look at the dog and Kai. "Hey, guys, please stop fighting!" You shout after seeing Kai pull on Bruno's tail. He shouts, "I was not fighting! That dog is getting on my damn nerves!"

Bruno rolls his eyes before lasering the floor next to Kai's feet. He instantly jumps, eyes widening at Bruno's action, "How dare you, dumb dog?" Bruno gasps as well, tiny eyes narrowing as he lasers the floor by Kai's feet again. Kai jumps yet again as Jungkook and you both roll your eyes at the pair's actions.

Jungkook then turns back around, eyeing the building's large ground. He mumbles, "More importantly, aren't you guys wondering why the guards aren't even here?" It was true, Jungkook was surprised at the fact that there were barely any guards here even. Outside the gate, he understands, but why wouldn't they be here, right outside the damn place, Jungkook wondered.

You nod, eyeing the ground as well before turning back to look at the boy. You raise an eyebrow, "Seems kinda weird." You were confused because you assumed there would be guards stationed at every corner and crevice of the place. Yet, there are none.

Kai walks over to the entrance of the place, carefully pushing the huge gate open and walking inside. He pauses, turning around as a sign for all of you to follow. You, Jungkook and Bruno enter as well.

Bruno's ears twitch as he looks up at you. He mumbles, "Can you guys hear that?" You look down at Bruno, shaking your head. You couldn't hear anything except the occasional grumble from Kai's mouth about the place being dirty.

Jungkook also shakes his head at the dog's question, as he also could not hear anything peculiar. Bruno raises an eyebrow as his ear twitches again. He definitely heard voices. "It sounds like... people talking." He utters, eyeing the staircase before continuing, "It's coming from upstairs."

Kai hears this and turns around to look at the dog. Jungkook raises an eyebrow before speaking, "How come we can't hear shit?" Kai looks at him once before back at the tiny creature. He sighs, "Bruno's equipped with special sensors that can hear even the slightest noise from miles away."

Your eyebrows jump up, but not because of Bruno's super hearing, but because of the fact that you couldn't understand how Kai knew of this. This was the first time he had met Bruno, right?

You watch as the dog moves, beginning to push his tiny body up the staircase. Upon seeing none of you follow, Bruno stops, craning his neck backwards. "Come on." He shouts, before turning and proceeding to climb up the stairs.
