"Kai, you good?" I ask, eyes softening when I see his still shocked expression. Jungkook was going through the contract and all other papers, trying to look for more things he could find.

He looks up, "Y/N, if we're gonna stop these creatures we need an army. The four of us won't be enough."

Kai looks up as well, "I could get my father's guards. Since he's dead, they all work for me now."

I shake my head, "Not at this facility, there's a high chance those creatures will come and figure out we've taken them and are planning to attack."

Jungkook tilts his head to the side as a thought flashes through his head, "What about at the old building? There are still thousands of guards there."

Kai nods, eyes narrowing, "That just might work. But we have to move fast, we leave first thing in the morning."

We all nod in agreement.

Somehow, I couldn't bring myself to sleep. We were all laying on sleeping bags in the shed, and I could hear faint snores from all around me. I decided to lift myself up, concluding that I was hungry and needed to eat before I could sleep.

I slowly stand up, making sure not to wake any of them. They needed any amount of sleep they could get. We had a long day ahead of us tomorrow.

I open a packet of chips, sitting down on the floor and beginning to eat.

"Can I have some?"

I look up at the owner of the voice, not surprised to see Jungkook. I nod, and he smiles before sitting down next to me and taking a chip out of the bag. He puts it in his mouth, chewing slowly.

Once finished, he looks back up at me, face blank and not displaying any emotion. He slowly asks, "It's understandable that I'm awake, but why aren't you asleep?"

I started to think to myself about why I was awake, but only one reason seems to come to my mind, "I'm scared."

He hums, stealing another chip from me and tossing it in his mouth, "We all are." He says, and even though those words are supposed to comfort me, they don't.

I sigh deeply, an array of thoughts running through my head, "I guess I just want to take a break. I'm tired."

Jungkook's eyes soften as I say that, and he takes the bag of chips out of my hand, setting them aside. He holds my hand in his, turning my face so I was looking directly at him, "We'll get through this. All we have to do is survive for a little while more. Then, we can take a break. A break for as long as you want."

I smile softly, heart pounding in my chest. He smiles too.

But out of nowhere, his smile falls and he lets go of my hand, turning back around. My face falls at his sudden action, and my eyebrows furrow in confusion. I tilt my head, "What's wrong, Jeon?"

He looks back at me before grabbing my hand and standing up, pulling me away with him, "Let's get some sleep," He mumbles.

I wake up hearing shouting, and I immediately throw myself up, expecting something bad to have happened.

What I did not expect though, was to see Kai and Jungkook fighting over the laptop. "I'm using it!!" Kai shouted while Jungkook rolled his eyes, pulling it towards him, "I'm the tech guy in this team, so I'm in charge of the laptop!"

Bruno was sitting down, watching the whole thing unravel. He begins to chant, "Fight, fight, fight, fight!!"

I roll my eyes, standing up and walking over to them. They immediately freeze when seeing me coming. I grab the laptop out of their hands, sighing and setting it down on the table.

I cross my arms across my chest and look back at them, "Can you explain to me why you're fighting when we're supposed to be working together?"

Jungkook looks down and so does Kai. I shake my head, "If you guys keep this up, we're gonna end up fighting each other on the battlefield."

Jungkook looks up, pouting, "But I'm in charge of the tech stuff..."

I scoff, "Who gives a fuck? Do whatever the hell you want, just don't fight or make noise. Now get packing, it's time to head out."

Kai sighs before picking the laptop up and giving it to Jungkook, who smiles at him. Kai raises an eyebrow, "Don't smile. You look ugly."

Jungkook's face falls and he immediately throws the laptop to the side. "That's it!" He screams before attacking Kai, who lets out the most bone chilling shriek ever. Bruno smiles, "Yes! Fight!"

I close my eyes, pinching the bridge of my nose. This is gonna be hard, I think to myself.

Somehow, although Kai and Jungkook had been bickering the whole time, we managed to make it back out and into the car. We were currently driving.

I sigh, turning over to face Kai in the back seat. I then turn back around to look at Jungkook. "Can you at least talk to each other?"

Jungkook and Kai scoff before muttering at the same time, "No."

I groan, "Well then be prepared for a long ride."
