"Listen up."

We turn around to look at Kai, eyebrows raised. He inhales a large breath before speaking, "This is important so you're gonna have to stop the car to listen properly."

Jungkook scoffs, "I hope you're not trying to trick us again."

Kai shakes his head, "I can't trust those guards again, not after they shot Y/N. I'm not on their side anymore."

I tilt my head, contemplating on whether to believe him or not.

He repeats himself, "Stop the car."

Jungkook sighs before pulling over, then both of us turn around to face Kai in the backseat. He looks at the both of us carefully before speaking again, "Look, if you're gonna do this, you have to do it right. The facility is a large building, much like the one we were just in. But it is definitely much harder to break into; there are security guards at every turn, security cameras everywhere, and even traps hidden. You need to be ready for anything and everything."

Jungkook clicks his tongue, "I still don't understand why you're helping us. Something seems suspicious about this."

Kai rolls his eyes, "Can you just shut up and listen? I'll get you the blueprints of the place, but you're gonna have to trust me."

Jungkook shakes his head, "No way-"

"Say we do trust you..." I say, interrupting Jungkook, "...how are you gonna get the blueprints?"

Jungkook looks at me with disbelief written all over his face, "You're kidding, right?"

I shush him, looking at Kai who immediately smirks, "I'm the Chairman's son, they can't really say no to me."

Bruno nods, "And then what? What about the guards and the security cameras?"

Kai nods as well, "We can disable the security cameras through the control room, I think bowl head here will be able to do it."

I look at Jungkook, who simply rolls his eyes in response. I look back at Kai, "What about the guards?"

"That's where the dog comes in." He says, looking over at Bruno, "You, my furry friend, will do the same thing you did in the wedding venue. The guards won't be able to respond to that."

I tilt my head, curiosity getting the better of me as I look at Bruno, "Yeah, what did happen? I barely remember."

Jungkook's eyes soften, "We'll tell you about that later."

I raise an eyebrow, looking back at Kai, "I'm trusting you, Kai. Hope you don't take advantage of that."

He smiles, "I wouldn't do that. Also, you must park this car far away, keep it hidden. You're gonna have to take the rope off of my wrists when we get there."

Jungkook shakes his head, "No way."

I sigh, "Kai, please assure me that you won't try and turn the tables on us."

He shakes his head, smiling, "I would never do that to you. Them, maybe. But you? Never."

Jungkook licks his lip, anger increasing, "You need to stop."

Kai smirks, choosing to ignore Jungkook's statement. He looks at me instead, "I won't do anything, just trust me."

I sigh, before turning around, "Fine."

Jungkook grabs my arm, spinning me around, "We need to talk. Get out of the car. Now." He lets my arm go roughly, turning around and getting out of the car.

I widen my eyes at his actions, and Bruno snorts, "He's a bit jealous, it seems."

I shrug, turning around and getting out of the car too. He pulls me out of the highway, behind a few trees. I look at him with concern written on my face, "Are you okay? What's wrong?"

He crosses his arms on his chest, "You're really asking that? After flirting your ass off with Kai?" He says 'Kai' in the most disgusting voice possible.

I widen my eyes at his claims, a scoff leaving my mouth, "You really think I'm flirting with him? You've got to be joking, Jeon."

He rolls his eyes, "You weren't flirting with him but you were letting him flirt with you!"

I could feel myself get angry. "As if I'm able to control what he says!"

"Maybe don't kiss up to him so much then!" Jungkook shouts, flailing his arms around. I bite the inside of my cheek, "In what universe does it look like I'm kissing up to him?!"

He sighs, face falling. He moves his hand up to massage his forehead, "Y/N, I just don't think we should trust him."

I shake my head, "I think we should. Please trust me, Kook." I stare at him one last time before turning around, getting ready to walk away.

As I'm about to walk away, out of nowhere, he grabs my arm, spinning me around and hugging me to his chest. I close my eyes, sighing, and lifting my arms up to wrap them around him. He breathes into my hair, hugging me tighter. He speaks then, "I just... need assurance."

I furrow my eyebrows, looking up at him, "What assurance?"

He sighs, "Assurance that you won't leave me."

My eyes soften, and I immediately push myself up, pecking him on the nose. "I won't leave you." I whisper.
