We finally arrived at the edge of the woods, walking out only to find the large highway that we had come across before. The one where the creature took Bruno hostage.

Jungkook sighs, "Now where do we get a bloody car from?"

Kai groans, "There's a car not too far from here, it belonged to one of my guards."

I freeze, looking at him, "Why are you helping us?"

Kai shrugs, smiling at me, "I guess I just wanna change the way you see me."

My eyes soften.

Jungkook stands in between us, clearing his throat, "Okay, enough chit chat, let's get that car."

Kai stops us, "No, wait. The guards are probably there, you'll have to take them out first."

Jungkook chuckles, "Luckily, I brought a little something with me." He then pulls out a gun the guard used to shoot me. He looks at Kai, "Create a distraction. I'll shoot them fast."

Kai nods, and I untie Kai's ropes from Jungkook's arms, tying them to Bruno's collar instead, "You go with him, in case he tries to escape."

Kai scoffs, "You really can't trust me yet?"

I shake my head, "Nope."

Jungkook smiles.

Bruno and Kai start walking in the direction of the car, while Jungkook and I followed them, keeping a good distance. He cocks his gun, holding my hand.

We watch as Kai and Bruno walk up to the guard, who immediately cocked their guns at Bruno. Kai said some words to them, and Bruno signalled us that it was go time.

Jungkook runs over to them, killing both of the guards with shots to their heads instantly. I gasp, "That was awesome."

Jungkook smiles, "Obviously it was."

Kai scoffs, "I could've done even better."

Jungkook looks at him, smile falling. "I'd like to see you try, dickhead."

Kai rolls his eyes, and Bruno barks in happiness, "We did it! We got a fucking car!"

I gasp, "Did you just swear?"

Bruno pauses, mouth falling open, "See, this is what happens when I'm surrounded by people like you who can't form a full sentence without including a swear word!"

I snort, and we sit in the car, Jungkook in the driver's seat, me in the front seat and Bruno and Kai in the back.

We begin driving.

Jungkook looks back at Kai, "So where are we actually meant to go?"

Kai sighs, leaning his head back, "Just follow the road, I'll tell you when we gotta turn."

Jungkook nods, leaning his head back as well.

I look down at my dress, which was just torn up and covered in dirt at this point. I look towards Jungkook, "Stop the car!"

Jungkook pauses looking over at me. Without questioning, he pulls over. I sigh, "Reverse till we get back to where the guards are."

Jungkook raises an eyebrow, "You good?"

I roll my eyes, "Just do it!"

He shrugs, changing the gear and reversing until we were back where the guards were laying on the road.

He stops and I immediately get out, ushering Jungkook to get out with me. I look at him, "Take these clothes off of them."

Jungkook's eyebrows jump, "Please don't tell me you wanna fuck the guards."

I roll my eyes, smiling, "No. We'll wear what they're wearing because we've been wearing these clothes for the past week!"

Jungkook tilts his head, "Smart. Okay, turn around."

I scoff, "Are you kidding me?"

Jungkook shakes his head, "Can't have you seeing another guy naked when it isn't me."

I raise an eyebrow, turning around.

In a matter of minutes, Jungkook handed me the clothes off one of the guards. It was a polo shirt, along with some disgusting baggy pants. There was also a scarf that the guards wore around their necks and a pair of boots. I examine the boots carefully. Yeah, I guess they'll fit.

I then look back at Jungkook, "I'll go change in the woods."

Jungkook shakes his head, "What if something happens to you?"

I raise an eyebrow, "Are you just using that as an excuse to see me change?"

He shrugs, "Maybe."

I turn around, walking into the woods, "Bye Jungkook!"

I come out of the woods, wearing the clothes. I had decided to tear the legs off the pants so they became shorts. I had tied the scarf around my neck as a choker and turned the polo shirt into a crop top. Honestly, it doesn't look that bad.

I walk over to the car, seeing Jungkook already in the driver's seat. "Took you long enough," He says as soon as I sit in the car. I nod, "Yeah but this is so much better than that stupid dress I was in."

Jungkook rolls his eyes, "I think you looked good in that dress."

Kai shouts from the back seat, "I picked it out for her!"

Jungkook turns around, "Nobody asked!"

I smile at their bickering, putting on my seat belt. "Let's get a move on!"

We had already been driving for a few hours, and it was dark outside. Looking out the window, I couldn't help but think about everything that happened. I almost got married, I got shot, I met a talking dog that shoots lasers, killed a terrifying creature and, the most horrifying part, found a guy I actually liked.

I twist around to check on Kai and Bruno, not surprised to see them both asleep. I look at Jungkook, "Kai's asleep. Maybe we should stop the car and rest for now; we'll get up early and then continue."

Jungkook nods, pulling over. I recline my seat back, turning right so I was facing the door. I was almost asleep when I felt a tap on my shoulder.

I turn around, looking at Jungkook with an eyebrow raised, "What is it?"

He sighs, "You know I can't sleep that well."

I turn around completely, looking into his eyes, "So what can I do about it?"

He grabs my hand, clutching it tightly before closing his eyes. A smile forms on his face as he speaks, "Just stay like this."

"Wake up!!"

I blink open my eyes, turning around to see Bruno and Kai panicking in the backseat. Bruno shouts, "WAKE JUNGKOOK UP NOW!"

Jungkook opens his eyes, blinking fast like a lost puppy. I take my hand out of his, looking at Bruno, "What's wrong?"

Bruno rolls his eyes, "GET THE FUCKING CAR ON, WE ARE LITERALLY GETTING SHOT AT!!!"

I widen my eyes and so does Jungkook. We turn around to see a car, speeding towards us. Its window was open and a guard was sticking his arm out, pointing a gun at us. I adjust my seat, shouting at Jungkook, "Turn the fucking car on!"

Jungkook immediately adjusts his seat too, switching the engine on and speeding off.

I look back at Bruno and Kai, "How are you guys not dead?!"

Kai shrugs, "That guard has terrible aim."

Jungkook groans, looking back, "They're still following us, we're gonna have to take them out. Y/N, get the gun in the glovebox; I'm driving so you're gonna have to shoot."

I take the gun out of the glovebox, undoing my seatbelt, "I'm warning you guys, my aim is literal trash."

"Just kill the one holding the gun!" Jungkook shouts.

I twist around, opening the back window for Bruno. I look at him, "I'm not gonna be able to shoot him if he's shooting me. Bruno, laser the gun out of his hand."

Bruno nods, before sticking his head out the window, "Ready when you are." He mumbles.

I nod, opening my own window and feeling the wind hitting my face. I take a deep breath, "NOW!"

And Bruno lasers the gun out of his hand. The gun falls, hitting the road and before the guard could take out another one, I immediately stick my head out the window and face back so I was sitting on the window pane, closing one eye and managing to shoot him in the shoulder. He retracts his arm back.

But I lose my balance, letting out a shriek as I feel myself falling out of the window. I flail my arms around, and luckily someone catches my leg, pulling me back in.

I expected it to be Jungkook, but I was surprised to see Kai, staring at me with a worried look in his eyes, "Are you okay?!"

I nod, eyes widening when I saw how worried he looked.

Jungkook shoves Kai back with his right arm, keeping his left on the wheel. He looks over at me, angry, "Be careful!"

I gulp, turning around to look at Kai, who was sitting in the back, smiling at me.

I turn back around, realising the car was still following us. I shout, "Bruno, I have a plan but you're gonna have to be quick!"

Bruno nods, "I am great at being quick, I mean, I'm great at everything but like-"

"Shut up!" Jungkook shouts. I could tell he was angry.

I twist around, climbing into the backseat. Jungkook looks at me once before focusing back on the road. His eyebrows jump, "What are you doing?!"

I sigh, reaching the back and bending down to look at Bruno. "Just trust me," I say, directing it to Jungkook who nods in response.

I look at Bruno, "When I tell you to, you're going to laser a hole in our rear windshield. Then, you're going to laser the edges of their windshield, so it cracks and breaks. Leave the rest to me."

Bruno nods, and I immediately say, "Do it now!"

He lasers a hole in our rear windshield, using the space to burn their entire windshield too. It cracks and breaks, and the guards look surprised, immediately stopping their car. I make a sign towards Jungkook for him to slow down. Bruno moves away and I position myself in front of the hole, gun pointed at the two men. Now that their windshield was broken, I could kill them immediately. Once positioned, I waste no time in shooting both of them in the head.

They fall, lifeless. We won.

I fist pump the air, shutting my eyes with a smile. Bruno jumps, "That was just awesome."

Kai clears his throat and I turn around to face him. He smiles small at me, speaking slowly, "Damn. I didn't know you could shoot that well."

I smile, "Well now you know."

Kai looks at me with a sad look in his eyes, and something in me just can't stop staring at him. Why does he look so broken?

Jungkook looks at us from the rearview mirror, clearing his throat, "Yes, you can shoot really well now please come back in front?"

I smile at Kai one last time before turning around and hopping back into the front seat.
