"Please, please tell me you're lying!" I say as we run out of the tent only to find the chair Kai was sitting in empty, the only thing on it being a piece of paper.
Jungkook runs over, picking it up and gritting his teeth when he read it, "I'll be back for my love, Y/N. Try stopping me then." He crumbles up the paper, tossing it to the side, anger clouding his mind.
I clench my jaw, looking at Bruno, "How the fuck did he escape, Bruno?!"
"I don't know. All I remember was talking a short nap-" Jungkook cuts him off, "How short was your nap?!"
Bruno tilts his head, "Around 2 hours or so-"
I scream in frustration, yanking at my hair. "We finally had him and now he's gone again!"
Jungkook takes a deep breath, looking at the footprints that lead into the forest. "We're miles away from the facility, and there's no way he can get back without getting lost. If we follow his footsteps, we'll catch him. Y/N, you stay here-"
I shake my head, eyes widening, "That's what he wants. He wants you guys to leave me so he'll catch me easily, I'm coming with you."
Jungkook bites his lip, "Fine, but you're staying behind Bruno and I the whole time." I nod, and we begin running in the direction of his footsteps.
Jungkook was in front of me, making sure that nothing would happen. He had a gun clutched in his hand, just in case.
I was trying my best to run, because I was in a dress and barefoot. Jungkook finally comes to a stop, murmuring, "The footsteps end here."
I click my tongue, noticing that we were in another clearing. As I look down, I notice how oddly the leaves were placed; there were yellow leaves when none of the trees around us had those. My eyes widen as I come to a realisation. I pick Bruno up immediately, throwing him as far as I could from where we were standing. Jungkook furrows his eyebrows at my action, "What are you doing?"

Bruno groans as he gets up, "That was kind of rude."
As he's about to walk back towards us, I put my hand out, stopping him. "Don't. Move."
Bruno stops immediately. "Why?"
I look up, and almost immediately I shout, "It's a trap!"
As soon as I shout that, a net closes in from below us, lifting both Jungkook and I up and trapping us inside.
I end up on top of Jungkook, my arms on his chest and my face mere inches away from his. My face tints red as I shout, "Bruno! Laser us out of here!"
Jungkook shouts, "No, don't! If you do that, we'll fall really hard. We'll free ourselves. In the meantime, you go find Kai and bring him back to the tent."
Bruno nods, running away from us and into the trees. I sigh, looking up and trying to find a way out but the net was closed at the top. "How do we get out of here?" I mumble.
Jungkook shrugs, "I mean, we don't really need to get out."
I raise my eyebrows, "Are you good? Obviously we have to get out. The guards who laid this trap are probably gonna be here soon."
Jungkook clears his throat, "Well, until then, we can just relax." He sits up straighter, pulling me so I was sitting on his lap properly, my legs spread on both sides of him. My hands were spread flat on his chest as my heart beat fastens, "There's no time to relax, Jeon." I murmur.
He puts his hands on my waist, pulling me closer, "I've always wondered why you called me Jeon instead of Jungkook."
My face glows a bright red and I try my best to keep my distance from him, "Uh- I don't know, I guess I just like Jeon better." I say, trying to calm my heart down.

He smirks, "I like Jeon better too, ever since I heard you say it."
I clear my throat, "Okay, we should really be trying to figure a way out of here."
He shakes his head, pushing his face so it was right in front of mine, our noses brushing against each other, "Do you know how crazy you make me feel?" He says, grip around me tightening.
I scrunch my nose up, "Your breath stinks."
He snorts, moving away from me a tiny bit, "Are you kidding? We're having a romantic moment here and you're focused on my breath."
I shrug, "Well yeah, you and I both haven't brushed our teeth in a while so-"
I get cut off as Jungkook puts his hand on the back of my hand, his other one holding my waist tightly. He pushes my face closer to his, smacking his lips onto mine.
I widen my eyes, then when I see him close his, I do the same, wrapping my arms around his neck. He puts his arm back around my waist, pulling me as close to him as he could until our bodies were pressed against each other's.
I could feel my heartbeat increase with each passing second as the kiss gets deeper and deeper. Soon, I pull away because I needed to breathe. I pant hard, seeing Jungkook do the same with a smile spread on his face.
My face becomes red as I clear my throat, trying to look anywhere else but at him. He chuckles, pulling me so my head was laying on his chest. I sigh, allowing myself to relax, my arms holding his torso. He rests his left hand on top of my head, while his right is still enclosed around my waist.
I could hear his heartbeat, which was beating quite fast. I smile small when I feel his hand start to run through my hair, "What're you doing?"
"You did it for me, so I'm doing it for you." He mumbles, continuing to run his fingers through my tangled hair. I grin, using my left hand to draw circles on his broad chest.
All of a sudden, I hear a sound. I immediately sit up, looking around to find what caused it. Jungkook furrows his eyebrows, "What's wrong?"
I raise an eyebrow, "Did you hear that?"
Jungkook shakes his head, and then the sound is heard again. It was as if something was breaking. "I hear it!" Jungkook says.
I widen my eyes when I realise what was making the sound. "The rope is breaking!" I shout.
Just as I shout, Jungkook grabs me, pulling me right into his chest. His left arm was on my head and his right was wrapped around my waist. He grips onto me tightly, and then the rope holding the net up immediately snaps, causing us to plummet towards the ground. I hold Jungkook's shirt tightly, my eyes shutting as I brace for the impact.
